Chapter 15

Lycan king Xyrus walked behind me and stood at my back then I felt his hand on my shoulder. My body froze instantly and I parted my lips to exhale. He doesn't really have to intimidate me. Does he?

“What price do I have to pay, my king?” I asked and bit the inside of my cheek out of anger.

I don't like the fact that he is touching me with the same hands he has used to finger fuck Adelina. He is not even allowed to step so close because we are inside right now and no one is watching us. If I am to put up with this crazy idea of his, then I might eventually retaliate and it won't be an open marriage anymore.

“Do not disgrace me tomorrow," He said, his voice deep with contempt as if he wasn't sure if that was the right word.

What?

Disgrace?

I couldn't feel his touch again on my shoulder then I heard his echoing footsteps.

“I don't think I should be the one to be more concerned about that.” I thought inwardly and he picked up his sunshade glass.

“We should go.” He said and made his way outside. I followed him and we made our way downstairs until we got outside. He mentioned that we are going somewhere but maybe I should have asked him where.

“My king.” I heard a man say something and I looked up to see a man with blue eyes walking towards it. I think the face somehow looks familiar.

“I got your report late, which is why I didn't get here on time," He said and I took a closer look at him. He is Lady Eliona's brother. The same man we saw at the training ground.

He took out a car key and showed it to the Lycan king'. “I will get the car ready” He said and left the Lycan king's side.

If there is one thing I have noticed, it's the fact that Lycan king Zayn doesn't talk much and once he says something, believe me, it's either to destroy or to protect.

A black 2024 Toyota RAV4 was pulled to a stop in front of us and Lady Eliona's brother got out.

He opened the car door and the Lycan king got in. Without waiting for him to open the door for me, I quickly pulled the door open and got inside. We will have to sit beside each other in the car.

Seeing that I already got inside, Lady Eliona's brother got in and started the car. The engine roared to life and he drove out of the castle.

This is actually the first time I will be seeing the outside world again after coming to the castle two days ago. Maybe I should think about what Lady Eliona is. It won't be bad if I actually have something to do but I know it will be even harder, managing the pack with Lycan Xyrus.

But the question is, does he want the same? He is a man who wishes to lead the Pack with his fated mate or maybe I am wrong. His words, when he told me I would have to leave once his Fated mate appeared, made me realise I would only be here for a while.

Father and Mother are not aware of this but sooner or later, they will know that their plan didn't work. I might even get caught before then.

I looked at Lycan king Xyrus who was busy checking something on the tab he was holding. The car has been moving for a while now and neither of us is actually talking.

“Gareth. Drive to the nearest fashion store you can see.” Lycan king Xyrus said and I looked at him.

Gareth. That is his name.

I wasn't expecting him to finally talk and it is as if he can hear my thoughts.

No.

That is not possible. He probably just thinks it's about time he talks.

“Alright," Gareth replied and made a U-turn. So he was taking me to a boutique and that is what he couldn't say, huh?

The car stopped in front of the boutique and we got out. I am not sure if this is where we are actually going because I have heard a lot about these places. They actually sell the most expensive dresses and suits. Both men and ladies wear, everything you need is actually here which is why I am a little bit confused that he is actually taking me here.

Of course, he said he will give me everything except love.

Lycan king Xyrus got down and I did the same. Gareth was actually on his way to open the door for me but when he realised that I was already out, he made a small bow and returned to stand beside the car.

The Lycan king led the way and the sales girl showed us inside.

“We have different kinds of men's suits and the ones for females too, sir.” The sales girl said and I realised the rumour is true after all. No one knows what the Lycan king looks like because if they knew, they would probably send everyone out of the store.

If he is that wicked and ruthless, I wonder why he is planning to shop like an average man then.

“I will check out the MEN suit available” He said with tenderness in his voice.

No one knows what he looks like so there is no point in pretending like a sweet couple here. We got to where the suits were and my jaw almost dropped in surprise.

I didn't expect the place to be this beautiful. The beautiful white and blue light shines over the material. Making everything stand out. This is screaming luxury and I am not joking.

Eleanor and I have talked a lot about how our first time will be when we finally get to C&Kay fashion store for shopping. This has always been our dream store to shop but knowing that we will spend a lot, we actually reconsider our options instead.

“I would like to try this.” Lycan king Xyrus said and I almost forgot he is actually beside me.

I looked at the suit he picked. He has a good eye for something that suits his body. It was just the same black suit but different. It will look good on him.

He didn't try it on but he picked another suit again. Okay, I thought that would be all but he picked some more.

I was already getting exhausted, standing all along and it made me want to curse at him. Did he bring me

here to watch him shop?

What kind of man actually does this to his partner?
