Chapter 100: Chapter Hundred
Luna's Pov
I buckled up, ready to storm that damned festival, and put a stop to the whole thing. I would drag Valerie and Damien out, then give them the harshest spanking of their lives. They would regret ever trying to take my place.
“Let's go.” I said to Elaine, and she followed me without many words, “So have you met your doppelgänger?”
“Yes, I've met her. She'd almost lost all her memories, but she didn't know what to do, where to start from, so she just regarded this as a nightmare. She felt she was in a coma in the real world, and this is perhaps the world comatose people fall into. Comatose, my foot.” Elaine chuckled.
“Well, better for her to think she's comatose, or she'd have gone crazy.”
“Luna, do you think this is a good idea?”
“If it's not a good idea, then what else could it be? Eventually, we’ll have to confront them.” I said, brushing my hair. Red hair really sucks on me, by the way.
Elaine didn't say anything else out of fear of uncertainty until we got to the festival.
“Okay, I really think we should turn back now. Almost every guard is here. They would lock you up in the dungeon, and Zane wouldn't spare you a look.” She cautioned, but I wasn't about to do that. If I hadn't changed my mind back then, then I wouldn't change it now.
“Stop right in front of the crowd. Don't go any further.” I said, noting how the crowd packed themselves around the center where a joust was going on.
Boldly and bravely, I pushed past the throng of people, almost impatiently.
“Get back. I was here before you, you…” A porky man began, eyes flashing with rage, but immediately he saw me, the rage in his eyes disappeared, and the ferocity in mine caused his to widen in fear.
“Luna!” He whispered fiercely.
“Luna?” Someone else echoed as they heard it, and my name spread like fire on the lips of everyone.
Yeah, that was the sort of entrance I loved. The path cleared for me, and I walked right through it, going straight into the middle of the men jousting.
I pushed the chest of one.
“Get off. What are you waiting for?” I asked, irritation clear on my features, and he stepped back immediately, along with his other fellow.
Then finally, my heart alighted on Zane. It was like butterflies flurrying in my chest. That handsome man with the hell of an attitude.
Then, there was Ryder, never admitting to his feelings, and yeah, Caleb, the one who just knew how to send me love tickles.
“Hi.” I said, smiling, and Zane got up from his seat, advancing on me, with all the rage twisting his features.
Ouch. It stung a little that he didn't recognize me.
But it was all fine.
“You're not actually going to…” I began, when he came so close, his height overshadowing mine.
“You dare come here, pretending to be who you're not. You must be…”
“Don't rant on me, idiot. You can't even recognize the woman the goddess gave to you. Damn, I'm so disappointed in you.” I snapped, and everywhere fell silent, as everyone began to wonder what exactly was happening.
“Oh, you're no longer Keira?” He spat, his voice full of sarcasm.
“I'm not Keira. I'm Luna.”
His eyes twitched, and murmurs began to ring out.
Zane was getting confused.
“Can't you see? It's me, not…”
However, from the corner of my eye, I saw his claws elongating.
“Zane, you…” I began, but he was way too fast.
I staggered, blood pouring down from my chest rapidly.
Every movement hurts. I winced terribly.
“What are you doing, sucker!?” I screamed, as I placed my hand on my chest.
“Luna would have avoided that.”
“If only I had fast reflexes!”
“Duel with me.”
Duel? I… I couldn't duel in this body.

KEIRA'S POV.
Now was the time? To make my wish?
The answer came so easily. I didn't have to ponder on it. This was the point everything was building up to.
This was why I was told to wait, and be patient.
Not caring about the concubines or my face, I dashed from the throne room, practically flying down the corridors, turning the corners as quickly as I could, with my heart pounding in my chest.
By the time I dashed out onto the training grounds, I could see things were crazy out there. The path to Luna was clear, a lot of people were murmuring.
Luna was bleeding, staring in front of Zane with tears in her eyes as his claws seemed ready to strike her again.
Elaine was biting her lip down in tears, her hands bunched into fists. She also couldn't do anything. She was in a human body.
“I know what I want to wish for. I want souls to be switched back to their rightful bodies. Everything has to go back into place. Elaine has to find her body again, and Luna's soul has to find this body I'm wielding. My soul also must find the body she's wielding, so I can go back to where I truly belong without any problems.” I said, laying down my wish in a detailed manner.
I wasn't about to leave the space for any holes. I will return to where I came from.
And then I felt that liberating feeling start from my chest like some kind of relief spreading to my body with increasing coolness.
As I walked in the clear path, gasps rang out and some began to scream. The attention of the Alphas was caught and so was Luna's.
She turned, shocked.
“I'm going home!” I shouted, breaking into a wide smile, “I found the answer.” I said, not minding any other thing. Luna would solve it all.
And then, I began to feel faint.
It was happening.
I was going back.
Luna wiped her tears, and gave a faint smile, and at the same time, our bodies crumpled as we both thudded to the ground.
Just like the beginning.
