Hundred and Thirteen

Hundred and Thirteen

Thrians POV.

All of a sudden, I started having a strange feeling about where I was headed with the investigators. They sometimes seemed to be very sure that we were going to find her on an island. It sounded absolutely ridiculous to me. She would drop in on some kind of island like some sort of princess or something? It didn't make any sense at all.

So I decided to be a little more practical in my approach and consider the type of choice. There was one thing I couldn't leave my mind: the possibility that the girl I was looking for, with everything in my hand, was actually not too far away from me. And when the other guy called Ayu, without a doubt, what he suggested was correct. She was the first.

I hesitated a little bit, but I made my move immediately, heeding his words and moving as fast as possible in the same direction. I told him not to stop her ever. We could be wrong, and this was wasting time if we were actually wrong. In the end, a couple of days later, I was driving quickly. I had to head out to the office that he sent me to, but I asked him to keep on the phone so that I could keep track of what was happening. He didn't hesitate to do what I wanted him to do, and just as I requested, he kept on the phone.

However, I am assuming it. Her voice is touching. Riker's voice sounded angry as he spoke to the other guy, whoever he was. I could hardly believe my ears, but I recognized the person's voice to be the one I had suspected all along. Dail's efforts instead. What's going on? I like a breaker, hoping that she will be telling me without any issues because I don't know what to be talked to Dail's.

There was a brief silence before he spoke, with a kind of sarcasm in his voice. "Devis is here with me," he said, "and someone else wants to—" I mean, he drowned. I could hardly believe what I had just heard, but it was clear to me that it was absolutely true. I thought my breathing listening is swell. I asked him, which was pretty much the only explanation I had, the only question I had in my mind right now.

I needed her to be full of hurt and not harm them anyway. If not, there was no way I would be able to constrain my anger, and I'd just end up doing something drastic in the time from now. "Yes, well enough in my opinion," he told me simply, "but it has a hostage, and I don't really see how we can do anything about that."

I took in a deep breath hearing his words—not the most encouraging words in my mind. But I decided that I needed to be there myself. "Hold him off, let him hang on," I told him as I stepped on the accelerator. I returned to my car and spoke to the others: "We found her. Let's move quickly so that we can get her back."

They all seemed to be fired up just as I was. I felt happy to know that I wasn't the only one interested in her well-being, and there were a couple of people that liked her just as much as I did and were willing to give up a lot of things for her sake.

I drove the car as quickly as it was possible for me, and soon enough, it paid off. All my hard work and swift driving ended up well, with me finally getting to meet her—just in time to see Davies having a maniacal look in his eyes as he seemed to be planning something absolutely unorthodox. What practice here to know, I wondered as I looked at him and wished I could teach him my lesson one way or another. But I didn't have the power to do so yet, not when she was in his hands.

"You guys are insufferable," she was saying. "I present you with a solution and you don't even seem to think about it," he continued. "I'm only going to end up killing her if you don't take caution," he said once again.

"What's the solution?" I questioned when I looked at him, wanting to deny what he was up to.

"It's simple," he said, breathing heavily. "You allow me to rape her and enjoy her as much as I want, and in return, I give her to you alive. After all, she's pretty, and I wouldn't want her to die," he said.

It sounded absolutely ridiculous to me, and I shook my head. If he thought that I was going to agree to such a stupid deal, then he was terribly mistaken. I chose mine and mine alone. I wouldn't even share her with Ryker, let alone someone like him, whom I absolutely despised.

"The second option might be better for you then," he said, laughing as he spoke. "I'll rape her and kill her. You guys won't do a thing about it because, well, you can't," he said.

Hearing the words rest from his mouth and how he spoke ruthlessly and without a care in the world, how he seemed to have thrown away every sort of prison, I wouldn't really bring myself to argue with him any longer. I knew, however, that this would be a solution—something I could do about this. So as I glared at him, I made my move.

He had a knife to her throat, but somehow I didn't mind as I pounced on him. But suddenly he tried to cut her, to hurt her. He tried his best to kill her, which was very well to take threats, and the only thing he could do if we defied him. But she moved quickly, just as I expected her to. She didn't let him lay a finger on her, and I found myself smiling a little.

Just as it had been from the very start, she was much stronger than he was, much stronger than he ever could be. And that was the reason why he couldn't defeat her, no matter how much he tried. He might have done better if he gave her to someone else to hold because he wasn't strong enough to even hold her for a second. He wasn't powerful enough to hold her long enough to defend his captive and take his prey for himself.

She broke free at that moment, quickly moving to stand beside Ryker—a move that, for some reason, I wasn't offended by, not this time around. Instead, I felt incredibly happy to see her safe, the way it was now. The overwhelming feeling of joy enveloped me even more as I punched him once again right in his gut, and he lurched forward, taking in the front of my attack.

That was just the beginning. I had a lot more tricks up my sleeve. I might have been given the chance to execute all my techniques and teach him the lesson he deserved, but it didn't work out quite as well as I had planned because already his men were closing in. They had faces that suggested they were going to support him with everything they had.

Well, all I could say was that it was just as well. I was willing to teach them a better lesson and also complete what I had started. He was taking all the defenses that we had as much as I could possibly manage. I had the most unwanted in his seat, and then kicked the man.

We probably all had guns, but for some reason, not just me but everyone in general, we were all using our physical strength. We were all doing our best to take each other down with our bare hands. Somehow, I felt a singular thrill of taking defense and reservation by doing that. We seemed to have come to a consensus, as if this was some kind of competition spawned from the middle of our national crisis.

I didn't mind though, my hand crashing into the teeth of one of these guys because I couldn't believe how belligerent he was being. If I could keep on beating them up like that, then I would continue without any hesitation.

Finally, I relaxed, with satisfaction seeing that my mission was becoming more and more accomplished with the more time I spent. They were devastated now by our incessant attacks, and there was no point in me continuing like this. What's more, I thought it would be very fun to suddenly change the dynamic of the fight, so I brought out my gun and shot someone dead all of a sudden.

With the sudden arrival of the firearm, the place descended into pandemonium, and I smiled. This was getting more and more fun, I had to admit.
