CHAPTER THIRTY four

Bella's POV

I'm so happy as I heard my sister's voice, that means that she's doing fine and okay

I pray she got the job she's looking for so that things will be easier for us and I know that the spirit of our parents will not sleep in heaven.

Let me quickly finish what I'm doing so that I will join the other maids in the kitchen..

Few hours later,I joined the other maids in the kitchen to cook for the royals.

While doing our work,I noticed that as Fiona entered, then I remembered what mellissa told about her that she's now staying in Ricardo's room, I have been looking for her so that I can ask her about it but I don't see her around, but the other maids won't stop gossip about her,she get to make some friends and more haters.

Some come to like her because she's beautiful,yes I won't lie she's really beautiful,And she got more haters because she's now living with Ricardo who's their crush,but how could they be gossip about her because of what is going on between her and Ricardo?

She mind her business as she does her thing,three maids try to talk to her and even get close to her as they imitate her sometimes

Fiona breathe out in relief immediately the food was ready,they send the food and was ready to move it to the dining room

Immediately the senior maid took Alyssa to stay back in the kitchen and find something to do.

Fiona didn't take it as an offense because they have never treated her well and was never them to change suddenly.

She believe people won't change easily jus because of a little change.

She turn back and face the dirty plates.

"Just because she's pretty and even sleep in Ricardo's room,she thinks she's now different from us".

Fiona wash calmly without a word because she knows that she was going to be criticized .

Author's POV

"Where is Fiona?". Ricardo asked the senior maid.

"She's in the kitchen,she has some unfinished work to do". The maid replied respectfully.

What's she doing there? He asked

the maid grit her teeth with her face now,she raise her head and put on a fake smile.

"She is assign a new work". The maid said.

Ricardo push her food away and make her sad face.

"It seems like I won't eat now, I will have to wait for Fiona when she's done you should tell her that I want to have dinner with her".

Ricardo said and relax on the chair.

Fiona was almost done when she was called by the senior maid.

"It seems Ms overnight beauty present is needed outside'.

She hissed at Fiona

Fiona wipe her hand and left for the garden.she was surprise when she was asked to join him on the table he prepared in the garden

She try to escape but there was no way,since Lucy want her there,then she has to be there.

She really don't want to eat with him especially because all she has go through because of him,she is trying to avoid him but instead she found herself in front of him even they're now living together.

I really don't know how many times I will have to appear in front of him all because of Lucy. Fiona thought.

Fiona sat gently and serve herself,she won't deny the look Ricardo send to her as she eat.

She wish she doesn't make any mistake as she eat. Ricardo look was k!lling and uncomfortable,she wishes the ground would open up for her.

Why are you not saying anything? Ricardo said

What do you want me to say, after all you have do what pleases you.

Don't you like how everybody is give you attention? You know everyone of them want me, Ricardo bragged

But if you said you can't be with me, you will continue suffering from me and I will make your life miserable than it's before. If you think about it again you can come anytime you want but remember to knock on the door." Ricardo said and left the garden.

Alyssa waited for few minutes after Ricardo have left before clearing the table.

When she was done, she made her way to her room as she claimed the stairs.

On her way to her room,she walked into Lucy and quickly avoided her,she bowed her head and waited for her to walk away.

"Do you also lost some respect as well.".

Hearing Lucy's voice,she bit her lip and greeted her like a proper maid.

Fiona made to leave but Lucy stopped her.

"How did you even get to know Ricardo,why is he only close to you".

Fiona try to speak up but was interrupted by Lucy.

"You don't have to stay a thing and also remember to avoid me,keep your distance from me' Lucy said and walked away.Alyssa raised her head and watched Lucy walk away pompously like a queen herself.

She's making things hard for me, she was the one who led me into this and I'm trying to avoid her but he's making things difficult for me. Fiona thought and made her way to her room,she opened the door and walked in.

One of the maid came out of her hiding and said to herself " I wonder what he see in her body that he's so over her but I will make you regret coming here, you will live a miserable life here, she thought with a smile and said sarcastically.

I know what to do about it and if she didn't leave Ricardo's room, I will make her leave because I can't share my Ricardo with someone else. She thought murderously

Let me quickly go and plan how I'm going to deal with her if she didn't do as I wished
