Chapter 22

"We're gonna have school trip this coming friday and everyone of you are all required to attend because you are graduating student"

Some of my classmates rolled their eyes. Halata na ayaw nilang sumama. Wala naman din silang choice. Every year may school trip na nagaganap and everyone was required to come.

"I'm so excited" Steven whispher.

Napa iling na lamang ako. Whenever we have a school trip natutulog lang naman ako.

"That's all for today. Class dismiss"

Pag labas ko ng room nasa harapan si Sandro. Dinaanan ako nito ng tingin pagkakita nya saakin.

Woah. Anong problema nya?

Iniiwasan na ba talaga nya ako? Well that's good. No one will bother me anymore.

"Hey." I heard steven said.

"Mom wants you come home"

Why am I even eavesdropping? Stupid reese everyone.

I put my earphone and walk away from them.

It's lunch time but Kalee still has a class. I don't like eating alone this past few days. I feel so lonely.

"Hey"

"SHIT!" Napasigaw ako sa sobrang gulat dahil bigla nalang may humatak sa balikat ko.

And it was grayson

"Did I startle you? I'm so sorry" paumanhin nito.

"It's okay. Nagulat lang ako"

Napa kamot ito ng ulo "Kanina pa kita tinatawagan. Naka earphone ka pala kaya hindi mo ako naririnig"

Nahihiya akong tumingin sakanya "I'm sorry"

Grayson smiled "Have you eaten?"

Bakit ba sa tuwi'ng nakikita ko siya laging pagkain ang sinasabi nya? Mukha ba akong patay gutom?

"It's lunch time" He added.

"Want to grab a bite?" I said.

He nod his head and smile widely. He's so cute.

"What do you want to eat?" I asked him.

"My treat" I added.

Lagi nalang kasi sya yung bumibili kapag kumakain kami sa labas. Nakakahiya na din

"Anything"

I was about to open my car when someone grabbed my hand.

And who do you think it is?

"Sandro"

"Come with me" He said.

"Can't you see? May lakad kami" Grayson grabbed my left hand.

Yes. They both grabbed my hand. Tag of war? Buti nalang walang tao sa parking lot. Pag titinginan na naman kami.

"Why are you talking to me right now?"

Kanina lang you ignored me.

He look straight in my eyes. "Come with me" pag uulit pa nito. He's begging.

I smirked and answered

"No"

His eyes speak all the words his mouth couldn't.

"Let's go, Grayson" Inalis ko ang pagkaka hawak saakin ni Sandro at pumasok na sa sasakyan.

We leave him hanging.

"Bumili kana ba ng mga dadalhin mo sa school trip?"

Humilata ako sa aking higaan at ipinikit ang aking mga mata. Nasa bahay ako ngayon with Kalee. Kanina pa nya ako niyayaya na lumabas at mag shopping.

"Hindi pa"

"Mag bihis kana. Let's buy some stuff"

I don't have any energy left. Im so freakin tired right now. I want to sleep.

"Reese!" She screamed at hinatak ako patayo.

I glared at her "I'm so sleepy"

She pinch my cheeks "No. Let's go out"

Hindi na nya ako binigyan ng oras para maka pag palit ng damit. Buti nalang ay maayos ayos ang suot kong shorts at tshirt.

"Yayain kaya natin si Grayson?"

"Wag na" mabilis kong sagot. Nasabi nya kasi saakin kanina na ngayon ang kasal ng kuya nya.

Until now, nasasaktan pa din ako para sakanya. Imagine your own family asking you to give up everything without thinking about you, for the sake of your brother.

I feel bad.

I don't even know how to comfort him. He's smiling but I know he's sad.

"Sandro stop bothering you right?"

I look at her, she's busy driving. "Yeah" pag sisinungaling ko.

She take a deep breath and smile "That's good. Wala din naman matinong ginagawa si Sandro"

Hindi na lang ako sumagot, dahil hindi ako titigilan ni Kalee sa mga tanong nya.

"How about this?"

Itinaas nya ang isang wine "Alcohol is not allowed"

She pout her lips. "Pwede naman natin itago sa tumbler"

Napa iling na lamang ako sakanya. Iniwan ko sa kabilang stall si Kalee at nag ikot ikot.

I saw my favorite chips and when I was about to put them in my cart someone grabbed my hand.

"Hey!" Naka ngising sambit ni Steven. Kunot noo akong tumingin sakanila. He's with Sandro and Symon.

"What are you doing here?"

"Shopping?" Pamimilosopo ni Symon.

I looked at Sandro, he's not looking at me. Galit ba sya for what I did yesterday?

So what? Hindi naman ako mamamatay kahit magalit pa sya saakin.

"Sinong kasama mo?" Tanong ni Steven.

Inilagay ko ang limang chips sa cart ko "Kalee" maikling sagot ko.

"Junk food is not good to your health" Sandro whisper pero dinig na dinig ko naman.

Symon chuckle and walk away from us same with Steven. Iniwan nila ako kay Sandro na kasalukuyan na naka simangot.

Should I talk to him?

Nah, don't bother yourself Reese.

"Bye" I said as I turned my back on him.

"I'm coming with you" he said. Sandro pull my cart from me, he push it and hold my hand.

"Let's go"

I was dumbfounded.

"Nasaan na ba sya?" I was looking for Kalee and calling her but she's not answering her phone.

"She's with Symon and Steven"

"What?"

"Yes"

I take a sigh. "Can you please stop holding my hand?"

"No" sagot nito at pa-tuloy pa din sa pag tulak ng cart at pag hatak saakin.

So I didn't bother myself. Hinayaan ko nalang sya sa pag pili ng kung ano ano at nilalagay nya yun sa cart ko.

"Will you pay for everything?"

He stared at me "Yes. I can buy everything for you"

I smirked and pull my cart from him.

"You should be ashamed of yourself. You keep spending your mom and dad hard earned money without giving anything in return. You should atleast study"

I saw Sandro closing his fist. He's getting really annoyed. He looks like he's ready to punch me right now.

"You know nothing"

He's stared at me and he let go my hand.

"Every penny that I spend was my hard earned money. I don't asked anything from my mom and dad." He added.

"You should stop judging a person from your own perspective Allison. You don't know me at all."

He supposed to say that to his self.

"Stop judging me."

"Okay" I chuckle "I'm sorry"

He looked at me blankly. "Not because I have feelings from you, I will let you talk dirty to me. Know your limits, Allison"

"Reese!" Hindi na ako naka sagot dahil sa biglang pag dating ni Kalee kasama si Steven at Symon.

"I'll pay for this"

Hindi na ako naka imik at hinayaan nalang sya. Sakanya din naman halos lahat ang laman ng cart.

"Come with us"

Kahit ayaw namin sumama sakanila wala kaming magawa dahil hawak hawak nila ang mga pinamili ni Kalee. Kanina pa nga sya naka simangot at naka hawak saaking braso.

"Nakakainis" bulong nito saakin.

"What do you want to eat?" Tanong ni Steven.

"Can we have some pizza?" Singit ni Symon.

Si sandro sa isang tabi ay tahimik lamang. Galit na naman ba sya? Ano bang bago doon?

"Grabeeee! Ang gwapo nila"

Kanina pa nila kami pinagtitinginan dahil sa mga kasama namin.

"Then, pizza will do"

They choose Steveston's pizza and ordered the most expensive pizza called Caviar pizza that cost 20, 000 pesos.

Can you believe it?

"I can't believe na they bought something like this. Ang mahal" bulong saakin ni Kalee.

"It's their money naman. So enjoy"

"Eat" nilagyan ko ng pizza yung plate ni Kalee.

Ni hindi nya halos makain kain yung pizza dahil sobrang mahal daw.

"Eat. Barya lang yan kay Symon" pag mamayabang ni Steven.

Pilit ko syang nginitian.

Sandro put some pizza in my plate "You eat" he said.

While we are eating a group of girls went to our table and asked for Sandro's phone number.

I raised my eyebrow. Girls like them still exist huh?

They are looking at us from head to toe.

"Grabe, nakakahiya sila" sambit ni Kalee.

"Girls, he's --" hindi na natapos ni Steven ang sinasabi nya dahil nag salita si Sandro.

"Im not interested with anyone of you. So get the hell out of my face"

"And my girlfriend is here" sabay akbay saakin.

Ngumiti ako sakanila. "He's taken you see. Better luck next time"
