Chapter 36: Morning of Submission
AVA'S POV
I drift into Julian's library, trying to escape the raw power of last evening. There is sunlight pouring through high windows, casting suspended dust particles into glow. The room appears old, not aged… though it seems so, as though it has secrets hidden deeply in ink and leather.
My fingers track along the worn spines until one stops me. It's buried beneath others, hiding from view. I pull it out. The pages are thick, hand-painted, with intricate, lush drawings. Not sexual, but ritual. Bodies bound and worshiped. Pleasure met with strength. It's gorgeous. Strange. And I couldn't look away.
Heat creeps up my neck, but it's not lust. It's interest. Hunger. A pull to something darker.
I carry it like a secret and say out loud, "Look what I found."
They move near, as if summoned. Julian, Marcus, Caleb. When they see the open page, everything is different. The air is charged, electric.
Julian comes in first. His eyes slit, his voice flat but sharp. "Fifteenth century. Venetian era. Forbidden even then." His fingertip hovers over a painted knot, studying it like a map. "Where did you find this?"
Caleb comes in second, his face split wide across with a grin. "The detail… it's not actually sex. It's worship. Purpose to each brushstroke." His eye meets mine, sparking. "Why didn't anyone tell me the good stuff's in old books?"
Marcus says nothing at first. He reads over the Latin words under the pictures, brow furrowed in concentration. "It talks of giving in," he says at last. "Not in weakness. In choice. Intentions in yielding." When his eyes meet mine, there is something unsaid passing between us. He knows what it is to give and receive… without shame.
My heart pounds. I look into their eyes: Julian's careful calm, Caleb's hot enthusiasm, Marcus's intense focus. "It's a game," I say, voice low but strong. "Not the same as last night. A recreation. We select a scene. We study the map."
We gather around the book. Decision-making is foreplay. Their eyes do not leave mine.
Caleb taps a page, with a figure blindfolded, tied up, and adored by many. "This one. No eyes. Just sensation. Let us lead you."
Marcus shakes his head, gestures to the next page: "Too disorderly. This one—mutual tension, restraint. Mastery. We need order.".
Julian's fingers gently stroke a page showing one figure commanding the others. He smiles. "Set roles. Tight structure." And then, in all seriousness: "You choose the scene, Ava. But we choose our roles. Do you trust us enough to lead… or teach us what to be?"
The seriousness of it rests upon me. Their offer. Their challenge.
I glance back at the book, heart thudding. "Not that one," I tell it, directing my finger to an image in which three of us are entwined: equal in strength and focus, in power and in intent. "This. We start as one. All of us. And follow where it takes us."
The image is exacting, specific. Position, steps and orders. At first it's peculiar… humorous, actually. We laugh as we try to recreate the painted angles, stiff limbs and misplaced hands.
Caleb grunts, readjusting. "Whoever drew this clearly never had joints."
But his touch is respectful as he adjusts again, fingers tracing my nipple until it comes up in his hand. His body is tension and heat beside mine.
Julian's voice keeps the rhythm fluid. "Left hand there, Marcus. Caleb… take it slow. Ava, breathe. Let it build." He's not giving commands… he's holding the space, shaping the experience.
Marcus moves gently, reciting words from the book against my ear. "'The yielding point is not where resistance ends, but where acceptance begins.' Let go, Ava. Let it take you."
His fingers explore me, slow and deep, his other hand solid on my hip. His cock rests against me, teasing but waiting.
I lose my way on the page. Their hands are everywhere. Mouths, fingers, bodies together. It's not just pleasure… it's spectacle, ceremony. Vibrant and ancient.
"It's… too much… not enough," I breathe, as Caleb's mouth is on my nipple and Julian's fingers circle over my clit, slow and hard.
"Julian… there. Caleb… don't stop. Marcus… please…"
Marcus then dives in my ass, his grip closing. My body folds around him, around all of them. Caleb slips between my thighs, his eyes shut in a grunt as he joins me too, the stretch sharp, ecstasy. My moan breaks free.
They move together, following the rhythm etched centuries ago, bodies entwined in the form of the scene. Julian's fingers around Caleb's shoulder, controlling the pace. Each stroke penetrates deeper, harder, and I am lost in it… in them.
Their cocks inside me, their hands guiding, grasping, pushing me to the edge… I scream, falling apart.
Later, we're tangled, slick with sweat and quiet. The enchantment isn't broken… it's simply rearranged.
Caleb tracks along a red line indicated by a rope. "That book knew things," he murmurs. "Dark, beautiful things." His eyes are soft. Honest. "It felt… ancient. Like we unlocked something."
Marcus looks up at the ceiling, thoughtful. "The control required… attention to her reactions. It was not anarchy. It was discipline. Transcendence."
Julian pushes up onto one elbow, opening the book once more. He finds a further page, more complicated. More sensual. "It doesn't stop there," he says to me. "Each scene is more intense. Each giving is more costly." He indicates the tip of the page. "It is not sex. It is a journey. And it darkens."
Something inside me shifts. A flash of Mom in her hospital bed strikes me… weak, still fighting. Guilt spreads cold across my chest. How am I here, seeking pleasure, when she's still fighting, and she needs me?
But then I look at them… these men who've laid me bare, touched something deeper than skin. They know the battle inside me. They don't rush to mend it. They let me feel it.
This was not a physical morning in any way. It was emotional. I shared with them something I didn't know I had to share. And they didn't shatter it.
"We have started playing the game," I whisper, voice shaking. "Do we risk playing the next scene?"
Their silence is louder than any answer. Because we already know.
We will.
