Chapter 62: The Hybrid Queen

Two months on and things are going great, the twins have settled down into a nice routine, and they are not getting up nearly as much through the night. Brandon likes to at least have one bedtime story with his brother and sister. He is even the one that reads to them some of the time.

Chris and Lilly love hearing his voice and being around him. I am sure they are more content with him than they are with their dad and I. Their adorable little face just light right up as soon as they know their brother is close by.

I have managed to set up several groups in the pack for mothers and their pups at different ages, and just for them for support. It is not just for the mum's, dad’s are more than welcome, too. The women took to it straight away. They enjoyed having others to talk to at the same stage as them.

It has taken a bit longer to get some of the men involved, but with so many single sex couples and some single dad’s, I wanted to make sure they had the same support system. Slowly but surely, more and more men are joining the groups. If Callum and Vlad are visiting on the days they are on, they are always happy to join in, I think that is what made the men feel more relaxed about joining us.

Most of the pack members are amazing. Yeah, there is still the odd snide comment here and there that gets to my ears from the jealous bi.tches, but they do not worry me. I have only had to put a couple of them in their place, and that was for upsetting Brandon.

The poor wee soul overheard them saying I wasn’t his real mum and I would not love him any more now I had my own pups, and I was only pretending to be his mum to get the king. Needless to say, no one gets away with making my pup cry, and I called them both out for a fight.

I may have only given birth a week ago at the time, but my strong lycan had done a wonderful job of healing me right up. I had no issues with taking the two bi.tches on at the same time while telling them exactly why they were getting their a.sses handed to them. It was very effective, and after they apologised, I have heard not a peep from them or anyone else about Brandon not being mine.

I was just glad that Brandon didn’t believe them. He was more upset they were saying mean things about his mum. He knows how much I love him, he is as much mine as my other two and I make sure that he knows it.

Natalia and Flora had their pups just over a week ago, Natalia and Ian had a little girl, so I was really pleased to get another niece. It will also give Lilly a little playmate. They called her Nadia, and she is stunning like her mummy. You can not even see a bit of Ian in her. She is Nadia’s mini me.

Flora and Jeff had a boy, so the boys are still ahead on numbers for now. He is just adorable he looks just like his dad, but with his mum’s blonde hair and blue eyes. That little cherub of theirs is called Justin, and I can already tell he will get away with murder with his sweet, innocent looks, his daddy is firmly wrapped around his little finger.

Now we have a full house, and the men have already started talking about wanting more pups, which didn’t go down great with their mates. I mean, it wasn’t them that had to go through the pain. I am just glad Killian is not joining them at the moment. He is more than happy for now with our little family of 5.

I have organised a fun day for all of the pack, now that all of the ranked members have had their heirs, I thought, why not celebrate and show the pack the pups. We had all of the bouncy castles out for the kids, lots of food stalls and barbecues set up, and lots of funfair type games for people to play.

It was really well received and I am sure every member was there even if it was for a short time. At the food and stalls, we used volunteers. We got so many that they could regularly switch out to enjoy the day with their family.

My whole family came to visit for it, including my cousin, the Fae king, and his new mate Star, who is very pregnant. I swear it is twins, but they are not saying a word about how many or the sex of the baby or babies. It is driving me nuts, not knowing.

The crown was passed to him as soon as his mum had finished training her, and they had a lovely ceremony. It was the first time I had managed to take Brandon to the fae kingdom, and he loved it there. He was mesmerised by the people, buildings, and plants.

My oldest brother from Mama Ruby has also found his mate, but it literally just happened. They were on their way to leave when he bumped into her. She was visiting family in that part of the kingdom, Solaris is a lovely girl, and she has coped really well with the whole come meet my lycan family for a few day trip when I just met you 5 minutes ago.

She is definitely full of fire, just like her element, and it is exactly what my brother Thadius needs to make him relax and keep him in his place. So, it is now only my two youngest brothers who need to get to the right age and meet their mates.

The whole pack and my family all had a great time at the event. I am definitely keeping up these events in the future. Everyone is talking about how much the pack has improved and how much more they feel supported and cared for. I am just glad that I have made a difference in their lives.

Callum and Vlad have organised a couple of events at their pack, too, after being here at Brandon’s last birthday and hearing my ideas. So I am definitely looking forward to visiting them for that and seeing what they have come up with.

All my parents spend their time mixed between their own kingdoms and mine, with none of them being rulers anymore they have the freedom to leave for extended periods of time, and they love to spend time with all of their grandchildren.

I mean with mama Ruby and daddy Cas there is only my lot, but seeing the look in Thadius and Solaris’ eyes I am sure it will not be that long before we hear some news and they will have another grandchild to get excited about. Well, Tarragon didn't hang about long before he got Star pregnant with his heir. The size of her, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was the night they met.

I still regularly see my squad brothers we keep in touch all of the time, Drake actually met his mate in Callum’s pack and decided to stay there with her. With Vlad already being there, he knew he would be accepted as a vampire in the pack. Aaron met an Alpha’s daughter they are now running their own pack in the Northern Kingdom. Her dad had only had her, and when she was mated to a Beta lycan, he was more than happy to hand over the pack to them.

My cousin Samuel is still looking for his mate and so is Scott. Since Sienna also left her team and one other of their members found their beloved, Uncle Mack joined the remaining members of the teams together. It made sense, they were the team we worked with the most, so they were already close and trusted each other.

Sienna, well, what can I say about her and her royal a.ss of a mate, well that’s a story for another day.
