Chapter 45

My mum’s arrived just before our evening meal, they decided to come alone and make it a girls' trip much to the upset of their mates. They argued that they wouldn’t really see them anyway, so there was no point in them coming just to complain that they were away the whole time, which I admit is exactly what they would have done.

As soon as they walked in the dining hall, Giuseppe grabbed my mum and growled “mate” loudly in the hall while she stood there looking stunned.

“About bloody time, he met his second chance, looks like we are siblings, got yourself another brother now” Gio says, laughing.

“Looks like it, I always wanted mum to meet her mate. She has never even dated after losing her first mate” I say to him.

“Neither did dad. He was sure the goddess would give him a second chance eventually and didn’t want anyone to come between them” Gio says.

“So how will your sister be about it” I ask him.

“Nat will be fine she wants dad happy, and she will find it cool that she is now the Queens sister” he says, chuckling.

“Yeah that sounds like Natalia, she is a blast” I agree.

Mum has finally gotten over her shock and is now blushing as she introduces herself to him. He looks so happy holding her in his arms. I mean, why wouldn’t he? My mum is a beautiful woman tall blonde with gorgeous cornflower blue eyes and still has an amazing hourglass figure that is kept in shape by her rigorous workout routine.

Giuseppe himself looks amazing with his lycan genes he looks more like Gio’s older brother than his dad with his dark brown hair and dark brown eyes and olive skin. He is truly a handsome man who has produced some very good-looking children.

Everyone is congratulating them around the table as they sit down together. Mum still looks slightly in shock about the whole thing. I don’t think she expected to find another mate after her first mate died just after they met. She more than anyone deserves to be happy, and Guiseppe is a really great guy. He has been amazing towards me and Tasha since we have arrived, helping us to feel at home and settle in.

It definitely helps to put her at ease knowing that Gio and I are really happy for her, Natalia will be here any minute, and I think she is slightly worried about that. Natalia never met her mum, her mum died giving birth to her due to complications it was just one of those things that unfortunately sometimes happens.

Natalia comes bouncing in the room full of energy as always. She looks just like her late mum but with her dad’s skin tone and dark hair, but her mums bright blue eyes. She definitely got the best of both their features. Her mate is one lucky guy. She is truly stunning and loyal to the mate bond, I just hope her mate is just as loyal as she is. She smiles brightly as she sees her dad looking so happy with his arm around my mum, I know she knows who she is, as she has seen pictures of her with me.

“Papa, is Maria your mate” she says excitedly.

“She is sweetie” he says proudly.

“Oh that is amazing news. Welcome to the family” she squeals, hugging them both as her dad chuckles.

“You know that basically makes us twins since we were born the same year” she says, hugging me “I finally have a sister” she adds happily as I chuckle at her.

“it’s about time I finally got a sister with all these brothers about, maybe our parents will give us another sister” I tease as mum goes red and Guiseppe laughs.

“Ooh now that sounds like a plan, and you and Gio can give me some nieces and nephews. Oh, Brandon, you have just gotten yourself another poppy and some aunties and uncles” she says, hugging Brandon.

“Mummy is Natalia telling me the truth” Brandon says hopefully.

“Yes baby, poppy G is granny M’s mate, so that makes him your granddad, and that means Gio and Tasha are your uncle and auntie, and Natalia is also your auntie. Our family is just getting bigger and bigger baby” I say, smiling at him.

“Cool that means when Auntie Tasha has pups, they will be my cousins, and they will live here and not be far away like my other cousins. When will you be giving me cousins” he says, looking right at Tasha and Gio as she looks embarrassed.

Goddess, I love these moments when it is not me in the spotlight, and he is making someone else squirm.

“Don’t worry, buddy, I will get right on that” Gio says, laughing.

“You better I want lots of cousins, so you need to cuddle auntie a lot” Brandon says seriously.

“I will. I promise lots and lots until there is definitely a pup in Auntie Tasha's belly” he says back, trying to keep a straight face and not burst out laughing.

Poor Tasha is bright red while the rest of us are barely able to contain our laughing, Christopher has tears coming out of his eyes as he looks away, so Brandon doesn’t catch him. The sweet, innocent little thing just goes back to his food as if everything is fine, having no idea he has just embarrassed the hell out of poor Tasha.

Once everyone manages to get themselves back together again, we chat about mum moving here, which I am so excited about. I mean, she had already thought about it so she would be close to me and any grandkids. Now it is a definite she will be moving after her trip with my other mums, Guiseppe will go with her back to the pack and help her pack up and move here.

We also discussed our plans for the next day, Gianna has it all planned out including meeting with stylists to discuss hairstyles once we have picked our dresses also we need to pick out the ties for our mates to match our outfits and I want a matching one for Brandon as well. I have told Gianna I want a special one for them with the Pack crest on it for them, and she has made an appointment at the perfect store that can make your ideas come to life.

Natalia is now going to join us tomorrow, I was already going to ask her, being a former Beta’s daughter and the current Beta’s sister, she will need to look her best at the event. Now she definitely needs to come to get to know Mum better, and because technically she is now part of the Queens family. I am glad that both her and Gio have been so welcoming towards mum and happy for their mating.

Natalia is already happy to call her mum, I think it will take Gio a bit of time to get used to it before he calls her mum. I have gotten that used to new family members I am more than happy to welcome more it just means another name to save some confusion when we are all together so I guess it will be papa G from now on or poppy G for the grandkids.

We had a lovely evening sitting around chatting. It was going to be just us girls, but no one had the heart to separate Maria and Guiseppe since they had just met. My mum’s had gotten in touch with my dad’s and told them the news. They were so happy for mum, dad in particular as he had known her for so long and been good friends since they were children. He also knows Guiseppe really well through his friendship with Christopher and is pleased she is mated with such a good man, one he knows will love her and treat her well.

We all went to bed ever so slightly drunk, and in a fantastic mood, Natalia had put Brandon to bed earlier before we got drunk. He was happy to let his new auntie do it this time instead of me for once, because he was so excited about his new family members and the fact that he already knows and loves them made it all the better for him.

It is just as well alcohol runs through our system quickly as shifters, I really hate to think how mama Ruby is going to feel in the morning I don’t think fae’s have quite the same luck as we do.
