Chapter 49
Third POV
Lucia opened the door to the room with very slow movements, and was seen sneaking around while looking at her surroundings there. The atmosphere of The Bloodlust Moon Pack was quite quiet and there were only a few warriors standing guard which made Lucia feel a little strange. Before, she almost never went alone until midnight like this. And yes, Lucia herself also felt very sure, if Emrys, Josiah, and also Elijah were even already fast asleep. Silently, Lucia felt a little grateful for her own thoughts now.
Because, if Elijah was really already asleep, then Lucia wouldn't need to directly interact with Elijah right now. Moreover, Lucia still felt awkward if she had to meet Elijah in person there. After what the two of them had done, Lucia felt embarrassed and didn't know how to react and behave towards Elijah now. Lucia felt very awkward. And Lucia herself couldn't even keep that from her heart.

Lucia closed and locked the door to the room with slow movements. Before finally, Lucia turned her body around and looked at the atmosphere in the room that was very dark, without any light. Lucia sighed softly, feeling a little relieved, knowing that Elijah was fast asleep by now. Lucia walked into the bathroom feeling quite calm, but just then she was surprised by Elijah who was in the bathroom, wrapped only in a towel to cover his lower body.
"Elijah?!" Lucia unconsciously squealed in surprise, calling Elijah's name right there.
"Lucia? You're home?"
Elijah asked slowly, and tried to mask the shock he was also feeling, seeing Lucia who had suddenly walked into the bathroom just now. Even so, inside, Elijah felt very happy and also relieved, because Lucia had finally really returned to The Bloodlust Moon Pack. Moreover, Elijah had thought that Lucia would not return that night. Given how the contents of the letter written by Lucia to her.
"Uh... yes. I was about to take a shower... but you're inside, so, I'll just wait outside then."
Lucia replied with her voice broken, and sounding very nervous now. Even more so, when Lucia realized the condition of Elijah's body which still looked wet, with the remaining water still dripping and falling from Elijah's head to toe. It really made Lucia unable to think clearly now. After saying that, Lucia quickly walked out of the bathroom. Leaving Elijah silent with his heart beating so fast.
As for Lucia, she began to turn on the room lights, and made the whole room instantly turn bright now. Quickly, Lucia opened the closet, and took her sleeping clothes there, and waited until Elijah came out of the bathroom, so that she could clean her body afterwards. Even so, Lucia simply could not stop thinking about Elijah in her own mind right now. Remembering all the things that she and Elijah had done before, really made Lucia's heart beat fast now. But Lucia tried very hard not to show what she was feeling.

Elijah came out of the bathroom, now fully dressed in his casual clothes. A pair of shorts, and a loose t-shirt there as well. Elijah looked at Lucia who was still sitting quietly on the bed also looking at him now. They both looked at each other. Before finally, Lucia averted her eyes with her face looking a little red, and got up to stand there, then with very fast footsteps, Lucia entered the bathroom, and locked the door. That instantly brought a small smile to Elijah's face, as he shook his head slowly.
"She's being shy apparently... geez..."
Elijah muttered softly there, as he walked over to the bed now, and sat on it. Elijah gently massaged his aching nape. After coming back from fighting to help his friend, Elijah hadn't really gotten enough rest for himself. But it felt so good to be able to spend as much time with Lucia as before. Elijah himself never even thought about it happening so quickly. That was one of the mistakes he made too. Because, basically, Lucia still didn't know that she and Elijah were mates.
While in the bathroom, Lucia immediately cleans her body from head to toe. Lucia let her whole body feel relaxed with the warm water flowing there. Even so, Lucia's mind was still drifting and couldn't focus at all right now. All the new plans were already directly arranged in Lucia's mind right now, and she would prepare everything after this bath.
"I think... it would be good if I told Elijah about my plans too. But what kind of things would I ask him to help me with? So far, I've been pretty good at organizing and executing the revenge plan I've laid out for Felicity and Harrison. But, Elijah is also willing to help me, and... since Elijah left for the battlefield a while ago, I've never said anything about the revenge plan I have to Elijah. Should I tell him all the things I've done while he was away at war?" Lucia murmured slowly.
Lucia rubbed her face slowly, and let out a sigh. She felt uneasy. It was as if, while Elijah was away at war, Lucia had done many things that Elijah might not have liked or approved of. Lucia felt like someone who was hiding things from someone very important in her life right now. And that kind of feeling, Lucia didn't like at all.
Meanwhile, Elijah, who was now lying on the bed to rest his body there, immediately woke up again with a little surprise, when he heard the sound of a cell phone ringing near him now. Elijah turned his eyes to be able to find the source of the cell phone sound coming from, because he was sure, if it didn't come from his cell phone that was silent now.
And sure enough, the sound of the cell phone ringing came from Lucia's cell phone which was still in the bag. Quickly, Elijah took the phone from Lucia's bag, and saw who was calling Lucia now. It was Felicity.
"Felicity? Why is she calling Lucia?"
Elijah muttered with a small frown visible quite clearly on his forehead now. Elijah turned his head and looked at the bathroom door that was still closed there, with the sound of water still running.
"Lucia, still not done showering. I'll take this call then."
Elijah immediately received the call from Felicity, and decided to remain silent for now. Elijah thought he had no right to answer the call, while Lucia wasn't around. Elijah just wondered what Felicity would say to Lucia now. Actually, he himself also felt a little curious about everything that had happened.
'Hey, Lucia.... Lucia... I think I changed my mind. You know what? I don't want... um... I don't want to make mine and Harrison's relationship worse by trying to make him jealous. Um, yeah... yeah, that's what I mean. And... and... I almost lost my mind and my consciousness... hehe... I wanted everything that Harrison had for myself. But I also forgot that I wasn't his death. I'm just the person he loves, and... and... I don't want that to turn into a bad thing.'
Click
The sound of the door opening instantly made Elijah turn his gaze back, and found Lucia looking at him in confusion. Elijah immediately moved his lips, and said 'Felicity called' silently. That instantly made Lucia walk closer to Elijah, and Elijah also immediately changed the setting of the phone call with the speaker. So that both he and Lucia could hear what Felicity was saying on the call right there.
'Yeah... I mean, I don't want to make Harrison jealous anymore. It's probably just from my fear. But really, I don't want... um... don't want things to turn sour now. I don't want... if the plan we had... to get Harrison to come back to me and be jealous of me, is going to be a bad one, Lucia. And again, I... I don't want to lose Harrison. Because... yes... yes... I'm not his dead body. Everyone knows that. Shit... hehe... I think I'm too drunk to speak clearly right now. Lucia, are you listening to everything?'
"Yes... I heard everything."
Lucia answered slowly while she was there. Lucia glanced slightly at Elijah who was standing next to her, listening intently, to the conversation on the phone right now.
"I respect your decision, Felicity. After all, this is a relationship between you and Harrison. I have no right to do anything, without your decision. And yes... that's fine."
"Hehe... thank goodness then. B-but... but you weren't recording or anything else, were you? That was when we were both at the club."
Felicity asked again in a tone of voice that sounded a little stuttered there. Felicity's words just now made Elijah turn his head with a quick movement, and look right at Lucia with his eyes looking very surprised now. He couldn't believe that Lucia had gone to a club with Felicity.
Lucia, who was also surprised there, immediately only made a small grimace at Elijah, and did not dare to look directly at Elijah there.
"No, no. I didn't record anything. Besides, from earlier, you were busy dancing with many people, and I was also busy enjoying my drink. That's all." Lucia shook her head slowly.
"That's good then. I can feel at ease... well, I should go to bed now. I think I can talk to Harrison tomorrow, or I don't know... maybe the day after. I need to get rid of my drunken mind like this now. Good night."
After that, Felicity switched off the call, causing Lucia to take the cell phone out of Elijah's hands and turn it off right there and then. Lucia put the phone down on the table, and sighed slowly now.
"You went to the club, with Felicity?"
Elijah couldn't help but ask that to Lucia who started walking towards the dressing table there.
"Yeah... I was just dropping Felicity off. She said she needed a distraction. That's all."
Lucia tried to give a brief answer to the question Elijah had asked her. Even so, Lucia was starting to feel a little nervous about her feelings. Lucia tried to distract herself by brushing her hair slowly.
"I know... if in fact, you yourself also want to go to the club." Elijah muttered.
He was starting to feel a little guilty about this small change in Lucia's attitude towards him. As for Lucia, she felt a little surprised that Elijah could immediately understand her now. It seemed that no matter how well Lucia tried to hide what she was feeling and thinking from Elijah, it wouldn't work out so easily. Slowly, Lucia turned around and looked at Elijah there.
"I know that I overstepped my boundaries with you, and I know that you feel... betrayed. I can understand if you desperately want to take your mind off the things we've both done. I'm sorry, Lucia. I should have restrained myself earlier. It's just... it was so hard... for me to do."
Elijah was silent after saying that to Lucia. Elijah even started to lower his head in order to avoid Lucia's gaze, which felt so intense towards him now. As for Lucia, she felt her heart ache when she saw how Elijah felt about the situation between the two of them now. And Lucia felt unable to see and feel the same way about Elijah.
"I... I don't know what to say or do, Elijah. The thing we did before was the first thing I've ever done. And it feels so foreign to me."
Lucia murmured and made Elijah start to lift his head and look at Lucia silently.
"And you were right. I did want to go to the club to be able to take my mind off things. To be able to think about the many things I might say to you. But I don't want the situation to turn awkward. I just don't know how to do it all."
Lucia let out her breath slowly, and started walking again towards Elijah who was still silent, while listening to her words there.
"I just want things to be normal, and fine. I don't have any problems at all, with the things we did before. But... I just feel like it's a new thing for me. So, I needed some time to think about everything. And I got the answer. That I don't mind at all, Elijah."
Lucia smiled a little, and tried to get rid of the nervousness that was instantly returning to her now. As for Elijah, he could barely even breathe properly, wondering if everything Lucia had just said was the truth. Or was it just something Lucia said to make herself feel calm now. Elijah couldn't really get the right answers to all the questions in his mind.
"I just want the two of us to be able to live our relationship the same as before. I don't want any awkwardness, and I don't want any feeling that we're stuck together. How about it then?"
Lucia didn't know many ways to express what was going on in her mind and heart. But as much as possible, Lucia tried to say things that were in line with what her heart wanted.
Elijah, who had been listening to Lucia's words, nodded his head slowly. A smile was also immediately seen from Elijah's lips there. Elijah himself did not even realize that his eyes had changed, becoming a little sparkling when looking right at Lucia in front of him now.
'How much I love you, Lucia. I wouldn't even have the courage to hurt you. I just want you to know that, one day, I can boldly say that I love you. And also say that you are my mate, Lucia.' Elijah's mind spoke.
The nod of the head by Elijah instantly made Lucia smile with a sense of relief now.
"Oh yes, Elijah. There are many things I want to say to you actually."
Lucia said with a little excitement now that she was there.
"What things do you have to say?"
Elijah gently pulled Lucia's body to sit on the bed together. It was to make them talk comfortably.
"While you were away at war, there were many things I did. It was all related to my revenge mission against Felicity and Harrison. Earlier, Felicity and I went to the club and talked together. Felicity complained about Harrison's behavior towards her ever since the jewel disappeared. You know, right? I was the one who reclaimed the jewel with my magical powers. Felicity said that Harrison's attitude had changed a lot towards her, and she was trying to find a way to get her and Harrison's relationship back to the way it used to be. And I made a suggestion."
"What advice, Lucia?" Elijah, who had heard this, was instantly curious.
"I advised Felicity to make Harrison feel jealous of her. It was a classic method. But Felicity fell for the suggestion I told her. Felicity agreed to it, and immediately drank a lot of alcohol. She even danced and kissed with a stranger in the club. Although it was quite unfortunate that in the end she gave in to my suggestion. That upset me a little. But Felicity doesn't know that I'm much smarter than her. I've prepared a big surprise for Harrison, from Felicity."
Lucia paused her speech, and picked up her cell phone from the table there. Lucia quickly opened her phone's gallery, and showed some of the photographic and video evidence that she had, when Felicity was drunk.
"This... you told Felicity that you didn't take any photos or videos at the club, Lucia. But this... how come?" Elijah asked curiously.
Lucia smiled at that instantly. "I lied. I thought about this, long before Felicity got drunk. I was planning on sending these photos and videos to Harrison through an anonymous message. So, he won't know who sent these things to him. Later I'll also use my magical powers to make myself untraceable to Harrison as Luciana Edith."
"That sounds quite dangerous, Lucia. What if Harrison gets suspicious?" Elijah looked worriedly at Lucia at once.
Lucia, meanwhile, just smiled. "That sounds like fun, Elijah. It all sounds like a lot of fun to me."
