Chapter 95
He sees everything… And this time he wasn't in the security room, tampering with footage nor glancing at the camera feed in the parking lot, Logan was merely distances apart where he watches the whole event .
Gradually, a look of shock came up his face. At first he wanted to walk towards her quickly but thought of something entirely different as he drove out of the scene unnoticed.
Several thoughts filled his mind and he couldn't arrive at any way to handle the entire situation, it was seemingly more difficult because he had come there after he had gotten an anonymous call that she had been sighted around that premises.
All through this while, his mind felt crowded … several thoughts crept through his mind making the situation more difficult.
He stops the car abruptly, hitting his hands on the steering wheel again and again but still it couldn't get out that rage he was feeling in his soul.
When he started the car again this time, it was in full insane speed making his way back home. There was just one thought in his mind and that was arriving home before her.
He arrives home just as he had planned, the sight of her car missing from the garage pointed out that he had arrived before her.
He grunted as he made his way in, ignoring the men that were muttering greetings to him. At that moment he saw them as one thing, hypocrites every bit of them
In any other circumstance it would be annoying, but in this one, not so much in place of whatever feeling he had all he felt was that feeling of being betrayed as he kept wondering why she was so keen on betraying his trust over and over again —
His arm is slung around lazily on the arm of the chair he was now seating, he had been seated on the chair for what seemed like a long minute.
All he had been doing since the last minute was holding a glass of whiskey close in an iron grip. His moods are ruined, stained by deceit and a dark feeling that wouldn't depart as he shifts uncomfortably in the mess that hsu soul was so deep in.
He figures he needs a shower, then he can figure out what his next steps would be. He looked again at the clock that was hanging on the wall wondering why in the hell aren't Joanne and the men back yet .
He walked down to the window and peered out at the front gates that were still shut. His gaze was glued to the door that sits in the frame at an awkward angle, warped from when he had hit it several times an hour ago.
Sunlight shines in through the small windows, the sky beautiful yet like his mind much to her dismay void of any emotions.
He ignores the need for a bath, he rather waits here…

Something seems quite awkward and that wasn't just the fact that his car was right out there, but the whole energy the room emitted.
Looking over her shoulders for the hundredth time, Joanne gripped the purse she was holding as he walked on her tiptoes. The room hallway was a bit dark, giving her the chance to walk through without being noticed anymore.
She hadn't come home straight away, she had that need to bury the entire feeling that was in her chest after everything that had happened and had stopped at a pub, there she had wasted a lot of time and it was no surprise that he was back already.
She walked into the space right before her cautiously, if there was anything she was aware of it was the fact that he seemed to be everywhere.
Suddenly, the bag she had been gripping made contact with the floor. With her heart in her mouth, she picked it up and then resumed walking before she got caught out.
Leaning on the wall, she grabbed the knob of the door and then twisted it open, making sure it didn't make the creaking sound like it usually does.
“Finally.” She said in relief, swiping her hair from her face.
In a funny way the room and a hint of Logan almost as if he had been there or he was perhaps, a distance away from where she was … she thought the feeling as just being a façade of her memory, perhaps she had taken this whole thing serious and it was starting to get to her mind.
She sighed in relief one more time…
Just as she was about to set the bag down, the light was turned on, illuminating the once dark room and with her heart in her mouth, she turned slowly around only to lock eyes with Logan as he was sitting across the room.
In his hand was a glass of whiskey, with each minute that passed, he took a sip of the drink whilst she just looked on, unsure of what to say or do.
When she finally spoke, it wasn't to apologize from her actions —
“You!"
She is startled, she turned and could see Logan standing away from the chair and making way to where she was, the look he had on his face gave away a different feeling almost as though he was furious.
“Where are you coming from?"
She took a few steps back, she might be Married to him but she most definitely wouldn't let him intimidate her.
"And why do you ask?”
"you forget I am your husband, and —”
" I am in no mood for your nagging.” She attempted to walk away.
The process is interrupted by his hands around her wrist. , Don't you dare!”
“Fine, I went to see a friend."
He laughs In a manner that she finds annoying.
“Do you know what you are, you are nothing but a liar from the pit of hell."
Her hands shoot to slap his face but he grabs it…
She looked into his eyes , her chest heaving heavily.
“What?" She demands both staring at each other with heavy gazes.
