Chapter 5: Caring Friend

Vaani POV:

After Finishing my exam, I walk towards Geet classroom, she is hurt, I don’t know how did she managed to get into the classroom. She is always like this, ignoring her health. She is so careless with herself. If this exact things happened to me, she would have gone mad by now and would have got me admitted for a minor injury.

“I quickly reached her class. She is facing difficulty in walking.

So I just ran near her.

“Geet what are you doing, you should have waited for me. I said to her.

“It’s okay Vaani! It’s just a minor injury it will heal quickly, I just have to applied some medicine and it will be alright. She said smiling.

“I know the way she hide her pain, she always remain happy, know matter what happens. Everybody says that she is a jolly person .

“But I know her struggle, her pain. She always hide her pain with her fake smile because she doesn’t want to show her weakness to anyone.

“I know everything, when she will be happy, when she is sad. By seeing her face I can tell you how is she feeling right now.

“And now seeing her weak smile I can understand she is in pain. Being a independent girl, she doesn’t want to bother me.

Shut up Geet! I yelled.

I know you are in pain so let’s go to medicine room and after that we are going home no more extra work and you are not going to your restaurant. Is that clear?? I said

“Okay Miss Vaanya! But I have to go to principal sir office, he wanted to talk to me about something important. She said

“And What is that important thing?? I asked.

I don’t know, that I’m getting late for the exam, so he didn’t tell me. You know what Mr Sinha did to today?? She said

“What he did to you?? Tell me quickly! I will kill that man, how can he did something to you. You should have called me or dad. He doesn’t love his life or his career anymore so he tried to mess with you. You just wait, I’m calling dad and he will come here and will teach him a good lesson for messing with you.. I just got furious and didn’t even listen what is she trying to say, I just keep talking and took my phone to call dad, but next second Geet snatched my phone..

“Listen to me first, you angry bird. She said.

“What?? I said in a high tosai

“I’m five minutes late for the exam, so he didn’t let me in. But later principal sir came and helped me to enter and he said, he wanted to talk to me about something important after the exam. She said

“Ohh”

“What Ohh!

“ So Do I overreacted in this?? I said

“Definitely baby! So in the future first listen to others then react. Okay?? She asked

“Yupp”! I thought he did something to you. I said

“If he even think of doing something! Then he will be six feet under the ground by now. After all you know me( she said winking)

“I know! My baby girl have a black belt in karate. I said proudly.

(we reached the medical room while talking)

Hii! Doctor

I said to the Dr. Ryan Mehra. Well he has a crush on Geet, but my girl don’t even looked at her. Well he is handsome and well mannered so I won’t mind if they will date in future.

“Hii Vaani, Hii Geet” what you both are doing here??

Geet got sprained leg, so please check her! I quickly replied before geet could say anything.

“Well Geet! Come here and sit , I have to check your leg.

“Oh.. Ohk.. doctor! Geet said.

Doctor you just check her, I will be back, I have to fetch our lunch. She is hungry. I said to him.

“I didn’t say I’m hungry! Geet said glaring at me.

“I know you baby, So I just know you are hungry. You treated your leg here, I will be back with our food. I said and quickly ran out of the room. I don’t want to be a third wheel. I know Geet is not interested in relationships and all. But I hope she can try for once.

Geet POV:

Stupid Vaani! Why did she live me alone with Ryan.

“Is It paining a lot Geet?? He asked me while examine my leg.

No Doctor, It’s not paining that much but you know na vaani she always react that way when something happens to me. I said

“Hmm.. I can understand this. She is your best friend and loves you a lot. And Geet please, I Insist don’t call me doctor, Just call me “Ryan” I’m not that old. He said

“Okay docto.. I mean Ryan.

How did you hurt your leg?? He asked

“While running at the stairs” I replied

“You are still a kid” he said smiling.

It’s just a minor wound, nothing serious. It will heal by tomorrow. I will prescribed you some medicine so eat that and rest. By tomorrow morning you will be fine.

“And in future don’t run at the stairs” he said sternly.

“Yes Ryan! I will be careful.

“Is it done??? Here comes vaani with lots of food packet in her hand.

“Yes, Everything is alright. She just need rest. Said Ryan

“Okay let’s go then. Said vaani.

“But Principal sir.. ?? I asked

“I already informed him that you are hurt so you will meet him tomorrow. She replied.

Okay then! Let’s go.

“Right we are sitting in vaani’s car going to our home. My rented apartment.

“Geet what you think about Doctor Ryan?? Vaani asked me

“He is nice! I replied.

After that she didn’t asked me anything, I wonder why she is asking me?? She never did this.

After reaching home we finished our food vaani insist me to take medicine because I hate it so much, she forcefully made me eat that yucky thing.

After that we went to our beds, we decided to watch some movies, after that we don’t know when we lost in our dreamland.
