Chapter 207: How Shamless (CALIA)

Jack said Elion accidentally dropped his perfume and injuring the sole of his foot. Elion also couldn't join us for dinner in the dining room because he had to make some calls with clients. I planned to see him in his office after putting Lea to bed, but I fell asleep instead.

When I woke up the next morning, I found Elion sleeping next to Lea. One of his arms was resting on her forehead, while the other was resting on her stomach. His belly was moving up and down steadily. I smiled, relieved to see him safe. I hadn't been able to stop thinking about him since I heard him groaning in the bathroom.

"Are you done staring at me?"

"How long have you been awake?"

"Since you started watching me. What's on your mind?"

He lowered his arm from his forehead and turned to look at me.

"Morning," I said, stroking his cheek.

"I want to kiss you, but Lea is between us."

"You can kiss me later. By the way, how is your foot?"

"My foot?"

I raised my eyebrows.

"Jack said your foot got hurt by a shard from your broken perfume bottle."

"My foot is fine. It's nothing serious."

"But you were groaning in pain yesterday. Are you sure you're okay? I can treat it."

"I'm fine now."

I tried to spot a lie on his face, but I couldn't see anything.

"Alright. By the way, I'm going back to my apartment this morning because I have to work at the hospital."

"Honestly, I'd prefer it if you stayed here with me."

"Elion, I agreed to be in a relationship with you, but that doesn't mean I'm your wife. I want us to take things slow."

"Okay. I'll drive you home, then. I have some errands to run today."

He got up and stepped out of bed. No matter how often I saw him standing there in just sweatpants, I still drooled over his muscular physique.

"Morning kiss."

He surprised me with a kiss. I hadn't even realized he was standing right next to me.

"You're daydreaming too much, baby."

"And it's all because of you."

"I bet you won't stop thinking about me today. I'm going to be your distraction."

I smiled.

"A pleasant distraction. And I don't mind."

He pulled me by the hips and kissed me hungrily. I kissed him back with equal hunger. I didn't even care that we had just woken up and hadn't brushed our teeth yet. His tongue slipped into my mouth, tracing my teeth one by one before tangling with mine. There is nothing more delightful than a morning kiss from a lover. I used to not be much for kissing, but I suddenly loved it when it was Elion. He gave me the best kisses of my life.

"That's enough kissing, Elion. I'm going to be late."

"I could do this all day and never get bored."

"I bet you wouldn't. But I have to work. My patients are waiting for me."

"I'll miss you while you're at work."

I chuckled. That was a side of Elion he only showed to me. His playfulness was so cute.

"How about you come to my apartment for dinner tonight?"

"Okay. What's on the menu?"

"Me," I chuckled.

"That's even better. I'll devour you whole at the dinner table."

I playfully punched his chest.

"I'm kidding. I'll cook something with chicken."

"Sounds good."

"Oh my God, we're making out right in front of Lea. How shamless."

"She's sleepig. She won't see us."

I pushed his chest away before I found myself unable to let go.

"I'm going to shower. See you in the kitchen."
