Chapter 60
" You have been promised to him, Daisy. You will be his wife, it was the deal. It is made for everyone's peace. To end the hate between both of the mafia families" my father said
Making my mouth completely dry when I heard my father speak. This cannot happen. I am only 18 years old and I know for a fact Lazarus is older than me.
Can't have my life be thrown away like this. Once again I was stuck, I could not bring forth a word to anyone around the table.
" Alright, you told her and we will take our leave" Lazarus said, getting up to the table and coming around to my side pulling me out of my seat as he made his way to the door.
" No please! I don't want this!" I shouted but it fell on deaf ears.
Daisy was inside an expensive car, she had no idea where to go but she was stuck inside the car with her husband. And there was nothing she could do about it. She sat there close to the window trying to think where it went wrong.
\----------------------------------
Before Daisy turned 18 years old, Lazarus arrived at a tall building for a meeting. That meeting was going to change everything. Lazarus made a deal with the mafia Don Aiden. That deal was marriage, Lazarus wanted Aiden's youngest daughter to be his wife.
And for Aiden, he saw that it was a disgusting topic to bring up. But Lazarus bought up that if the marriage was to happen then he would call off all of his men, ending the issues between the mafia families.
Aiden was stunned by it. He knew deep down that if he declined this, he would lose everything. If he needed to sacrifice one of his daughters to finally have peace with the Greek mafia then he was going to take it. So he agreed on the deal, it did not matter for Lazarus because he would have taken her anyways.
Daisy's father called the family about the deal that was made, everyone was all for it. They kept it from Daisy until dinner.
Daisy -
I pushed myself closer to the door of the car not wanting to see him, I could feel him staring at me but I could care less. I was not sure where this car had taken me other than my doom.
An hour later the car came to a stop where I saw that we stopped at an airway seeing a massive black private jet. Hearing the door open up I knew that Lazarus exited the car on his side.
Pushing myself into the cushion of the car begging and praying that I can stay inside the car but that did not happen. I am not that lucky.
My door opened up showing Lazarus standing right in front of me. He, without any hesitation, grabbed me out of the car making his way to the plane.
Once inside the plane Lazarus placed me in one of the chairs as I watched him take a seat close to me and others enter inside the plane.
There was nothing I could do, the only thing that did happen was tears falling from my face. Placing my face on the window of the plane as tears went down from my face never stopping.
Seeing that it was already dark outside, why is this my life? I can not bring myself to look at anyone on the plane. I tried to stay awake but I failed because I felt my eyes closing.
I wonder if I slept everything would go back to normal. Where I can make a life for myself, away from the mafia and not forced to marry someone for peace.
Lazarus carried Daisy inside of their home. The only thing he could do was wait for her to wake up for her to see her new home.

Daisy -
I felt like I was on a cloud, I opened up my eyes to see that I was laying in bed. It had to be the softest bed I've ever felt, scanning the room that I was in I realized that everything turned out to be true. That what happened before was not a dream.
I am doomed to marry Lazarus and there's nothing I can do about it. All of it will be done for the sake of peace, the only thing that needs to be sacrificed is me and my happiness.
I sit up from the bed just staring in my room trying to figure out what I could do next. I was able to see that there were three doors inside of the room automatically. I know where those three doors went.
I sat there on the bed knowing if I leave it and explore more of it will come true and that is something I definitely do not want right now. So I thought to myself that the best thing for me to do is to stay in the room and not leave it.
I watched the clock on the wall as the time ticked away, inside of my mind I felt so lost and numb from the whole sort of this. I think about a minute passed when I heard someone knocking at the door.
