Chapter 85: Diana's Strong Revenge, Father and Daughter at Odds

At the press conference, Diana's appearance took everyone by surprise.

Nathan and Celeste were stunned for a few seconds.

Celeste hurriedly ran off the stage, holding Diana's hand and expressing concern. "Diana, good kid, you've suffered. Aurora did a crime, and this time we won't condone her. We'll make sure you get justice."

"Diana, I owe you an apology," Nathan quickly chimed in.

Celeste wiped her tears and hugged Diana.

Just when everyone thought the Windsor family was about to put on an emotional drama, Diana spoke calmly, "Mrs. Windsor, you've soiled my clothes."

Celeste's tears hung in her eyes, not dropping yet.

She looked at Diana in shock. "Diana? Didn't you come here to get an explanation from us about Aurora?"

Nathan hurriedly said, "Don't worry. We've already decided to cut ties with her!"

"I wish I could kill her for doing such evil things!"

Diana chuckled softly, "Haven't you done such things yourself? Don't you feel shameful saying that?"

Nathan's face changed dramatically.

Everyone was shocked, and the scene fell into dead silence.

"Diana? What are you talking about?" Celeste stood beside her, looking aggrieved. "I'm your aunt, right? Your parents passed away, and Nathan and I raised you with great difficulty. What's wrong with you?"

"You mean, raised me with my parents' inheritance?" Diana retorted.

The whole room was in an uproar.

"Diana, what nonsense are you talking about?!" With the nail hitting on the head, Nathan was furious as his face turned livid.

At this moment, a loud voice rang out. "She's not talking nonsense!"

Everyone turned to the voice, and it was Aurora.

She was accompanied by two police officers, temporarily released on bail.

"Aurora?" Celeste saw Aurora and hurriedly rushed over, hugging her. "Why are you here? Let me see. Have you lost weight?"

"Get off me." Aurora's expression was cold as she pushed her away.

Caught off guard, Celeste fell to the ground.

"Aurora, how dare you! She's your mother." Nathan had already rushed off the stage.

"Didn't you say you were going to cut ties with me?" Aurora sneered, "I don't have parents now!"

Nathan and Celeste felt as if they had been stabbed, causing a dull pain.

Diana found the best viewing spot and sat down, watching the Windsor family tear each other apart.

"Aurora?" Celeste's heart felt like it was being cut by a knife.

"I came here today to tear off their hypocritical masks." Aurora raised her voice.

She continued, "Back then, when Owen's family had a car accident, Owen and Esme both died and left only Diana These two heartless people, under the guise of helping with the aftermath, deceived Diana by saying the accident compensation took a lot of money. They fully took over the inheritance,  transferring all of Owen and Esme's leftover money to their own names!"

"That's how they founded Windsor Group!"

"Aurora!" Nathan, furious, rushed over and slapped her. "Do you know what nonsense you're talking about? Are you crazy?!"

"I'm not crazy!" Aurora gritted her teeth. "If it weren't for that inheritance, would you have adopted Diana?"

"All these years, you've been either beating or insulting her, and Mother was mentally controlling her! You're not even human!"

The surrounding people started whispering, looking at Nathan and Celeste with increasingly strange eyes.

"I knew it! Nathan used to run a small business before, so where'd he get the money to start a company? Turns out..." some of the onlookers said.

Mockery, sneering, and light laughter surged like a tide.

Nathan's face turned pale.

"I think you're really crazy!" Furious, he was ready to hit Aurora again.

"Go ahead, hit me!" Aurora stepped forward. "Do you dare to swear you didn't embezzle Owen's inheritance and abuse Diana?"

Nathan shouted, "I dare to swear!"

Aurora retorted, "If I said a single lie today, then let me be hit by a car and die a horrible death!"

She spoke with conviction, while Nathan stammered with a pale face; clearly indicating a problem.

"Aurora? Have you been in prison too long and lost your mind?" Celeste tried to shift the topic to Aurora's mental state. "How can you talk nonsense?"

"I'm not. I remember you even took Esme's jewelry necklace for yourself," Aurora retorted, "Since you were scared people would notice it, you never wore it out."

Celeste froze in place.

"When Diana's parents died, you were busy looting their house. How shameless can you be?" Aurora said.

Aurora knew too much, and every word stabbed at Nathan and Celeste's dignity. Being exposed by their own daughter was like a knife to the heart!

"Occupying his brother's property and abusing Diana, this couple is too ruthless," the surrounding people started discussing.

"Is what Aurora said true?" one asked.

"It must be true, otherwise why wouldn't Nathan dare to refute?" another answered.

Amidst the discussions, reporters with their equipment started taking photos of Nathan and Celeste.

Nathan, furious, glanced at Diana sitting on the side. She was smiling mockingly, angering him. It must be her who set him up!

Aurora committed a serious criminal offense and wouldn't normally be granted bail. She must've been bailed because of Diana's intervention.

In this situation, Diana was clearly trying to destroy him.

Nathan, his ugly face revealed, couldn't care less and rushed to Diana. "Are you slandering me?!"

"Slandering?" Diana stood up, approaching him.

Her eyes were cold as ice.

"I'll sue you for slander and defamation, and put you in jail!" He was trembling with anger. "I should never have adopted you. Even a dog wouldn't betray its owner, but you dared bite the hand that feeds you!"

"Defamation? Do you need evidence?" Diana sneered, pulling out a stack of documents from her bag.

Everyone's eyes lit up.

On the other hand, Nathan's face turned pale.

"This details how you embezzled my parents' property step by step. Do I need to read it to you word by word?" She said flatly.

"You..." He was clearly flustered.

Feeling guilty and with too many reporters around, he didn't dare to gamble on whether Diana really had evidence.

"What? Afraid now?" She stepped closer, exuding a strong, cold aura.

The once delicate Diana was now very assertive!

"Diana, we're family. Can't we talk privately? Why make such a scene?" He softened his tone.

"Family?" She sneered, "You slapped me, made me entertain people for drinks, and sold me to an old man for a million dollars!"

"You have no shame!" She said, throwing the documents in his face, the sharp edges cutting several lines of blood on Nathan's cheek.

Being publicly humiliated, Nathan's face turned red with anger. "Diana, who gave you the guts to do this?!"

"I did." An imposing voice came, instantly silencing everyone.
