Chapter 99: The Blessed Luna

Shelby's POV

They all stood there looking curious, as I was nothing but nervous. Rhea stepped out of the way and everyone gasped.

"Shelby!" Thomas yelled, as he broke down in tears.

"This is why Asteria took her?" My mother asked confused.

"I was asked to. She had to fulfill her destiny. I didn't betray you, I aided you." Asteria stated. "This was Gaia's plan."

"From this day forward it has been proclaimed, by Gaia, that Shelby will hold a Goddess title. Once her Luna duties are done she will take over her Goddess duties." Rhea announced. "Now if their are any objections, please feel free to get rid of them. This is already a firm fact. Shelby is the new Goddess of the Hunt."

"Welcome to our little gang." Ares laughed.

"You will do quite well." Athena boasted.

"Oh, how lovely, a new friend." Hephaestus grinned.

"Wait ... What about Annabella and Elizabetha?" I was concerned about them the most.

"What about them?" Thomas and Daminix were coming to me.

"They are gone." I hung my head, they froze in their steps.

"That would be our doing." I turned to see the Fates walking up.

Clotho snapped her fingers. Annabella and Elizabetha appeared in front of me.

"The choice as become yours now, my dear. Stay a tribrid, become a hybrid or be one. You can also chose to be human again." Atropos said.

I went to them. It was so unreal to see them as their own forms. I hugged them both. I never imagined I'd ever get to meet them face to face. Annabella really was beautiful with her blue tint white fur. Elizabetha was also beautiful in her own right.

"Chose wisely. Your choice is final." Lachesis whispered.

I turned to look at Thomas and Daminix. I glanced at my mother and Gammy. I looked back at Annabella and Elizabetha. I went to stand between, facing the others.

"And my choice is final?" I asked with a smirk.

"Yes, my dear." Clotho said.

"Whatever you want to choose." Lachesis grinned.

I suppose, being the Fates, they already knew the choice I would make.

"Then I choose to be a hybrid." The crowd gasped confused.

"Then what is it you chose exactly?" Atropos asked.

"I chose to stay a witch, to become the Supreme, and stay connected to my Gammy. I also choose to be a werewolf and keep Annabella. Asher deserves his mate. I chose Thomas."

I looked over to Daminix, he looked heartbroken. I looked over at Elizabetha and she had tears forming in her eyes.

"I understand. It's not easy living with a vampire side, I guess." She said sadly.

"Your wrong. I love you. I chose this so you could stand alone, on your own. There is someone who needs you more." I looked back at Daminix. "You are a Queen in your own right. Besides, having two mates is confusing and difficult. I always felt like I was betraying one or the other."

She giggled and nodded. She ran to Daminix. He grabbed her and held her tightly. She held his face and planted sweet kisses all over it.

"You really are amazing." Rhea said. "Your kind heart and strong will is why you were granted so many titles."

"This is your final decision?" Clotho asked.

I nodded. She then snapped her fingers again. I felt Annabella return to me as she disappeared from my sight and my powers surge through me. I also felt a tug at my heart as Elizabetha's ties to me were severed. Thomas came to me and gave me a loving embrace.

"Now, my gift to you." Rhea smiled. "For a Goddess to be, she must have immortality. My gift to you is just that very thing. I do not want my granddaughter to suffer your death. Knowing Shelby, she'd never love another. So ..."

Rhea raised her arms to Thomas. She grabbed his face and kissed his forehead. A bright golden light consumed him, then vanished.

"You can now walk for all eternity with her. I couldn't imagine a better match ever made." She beamed brightly.

I heard James clear his throat. I automatically rolled my eyes. I knew some sarcastic comment was about to be made.

"The greatest match ever made is right here, your greatness." Everyone chuckled, as he hugged a blushing Jenna to his side.

"I like him. He's funny." Rhea laughed.

"Are we all done here?" Zeus asked unbothered.

"You may leave ... when you clean this mess of a field. Then you will go and NICELY request to Hades to help find and resurrect all the fallen soldiers on their side." She pointed at our group with suffocating power coming off her.

"What?" Zeus screamed as Hades laughed.

"Now." Rhea said and disappeared.

Zeus just huffed and started getting rid of the monsters. I looked back to everyone. Jenna and Jackie ran to me.

"I thought you'd be gone forever." Jenna cried into my shoulder as I hugged her.

"Your brave, but never scare us like that ever again." Jackie stated, joining our hug.

"I'm just glad you're back with us, Shellie." James joined in.

"Yes. You had us all worried." Liam came next.

Soon everyone joined in. It was a huge group hug. After they let me go I walked over to Daminix and Elizabetha.

"I can't think you enough, little wonder." Daminix grinned.

"I actually miss little vamp. Guess that doesn't apply to me anymore though." I chuckled.

"I knew you had a kind heart, but to give up being a one of a kind tribrid ... that's beyond any kindness I've ever been given." Elizabetha hugged me to her. "I'm going to say goodbye to my sister, excuse me."

I let her go and watched her go to Atropos.

"You really are a wonder. I could never thank you enough. My allegiance still stands. You will always be my Queen, just not in the same sense." Daminix smiled.

"And you will always be one of my greatest friends."

He hugged me to him, kissed my forehead one last time, and left to go be with Elizabetha. I sighed. I never could completely give myself to him and I'm glad now I never did. He will forever hold a place in my heart for all my days.

"Wishing he was still one of your mates?" Thomas said coyly, wrapping his arms around me.

"Nope. Just happy I made the choice I made." I said turning around in his arms. "You're the only one who has ever held my heart."

Thomas kissed me passionately, as if I'd disappear. I guess my death affected him more than I will ever know. I couldn't imagine ever being without him. Thanks to Rhea's gift, I never will.

Liam called Thomas away with James. They were going to check on the people in the hall that were injured.

"Excuse me?" I turned to see my clan of vampires.

I didn't think about them. I guess they are technically Elizabetha's clan. I raised my eyebrows and nodded for him to go ahead.

"What do we do now?" He asked raising his arm to the others.

"Since you're no longer a vampire, we will take them and find clans for them to join." Daminix said, walking up with Elizabetha on his arm.

I looked at the vampires and their heads fell. I could feel their emotions, I was still connected somehow to them. They had become a family over the past year. I'd hate for them to be split up.

"That may be true, but they have become a part of our pack. They have made friends with werewolves, lycans, and witches. If it is okay with everyone here, I'd like for them to stay. They can remain their own clan."

I looked to them. The decision was theirs.

"I think I speak for everyone when I say ... We would like to stay." They all started nodding in agreement.

"They were your clan to begin with, and your clan they will remain." Daminix said as they all cheered. "Little wonder indeed."

Him and Elizabetha said their goodbyes and left. The vampires took off in different directions. I sighed a sigh of relief. I turned to walk back to the packhouse. Soon, Jenna and Jackie were by my sides.

"Well since your back, and definitely not dead ... Maybe we can plan a wedding?" Jenna grinned.

"She just got back. Calm down." Jackie chuckled.

"I think after everything that just happened, taking that final step is a great idea." I giggled, looking down at my engagement ring.

We walked back together. Jenna was throwing out ideas and said she'd make my dress. I couldn't help but laugh. Jackie was constantly shooting down her ideas.

"I'm calling in the big dog for this." I laughed.

"Joel." They both said with a giggle.

"Maybe he won't fight off the single ladies this time for the bouquet." Jackie laughed.

"Oh but that was too funny." Jenna said.

"Especially when you jumped in too. Poor James and Garrick." I laughed too.

We talked and laughed. I miss just us girls, having girl time. Then the horrible feeling of dread washed over me. They don't have immortality. I'll eventually have to say goodbye to them for good, one day. Our lives are going to be bitter sweet together, but I will enjoy every second of it.

"Well, it seems you really did fulfill the prophecy." Liam interrupted us. "You died, and Elizabetha seceded you. You almost have your five titles."

"Almost? She already does." James said confused.

"Luna, Queen, Titan, Goddess ... oh, wait." Thomas joined in.

"She will be Supreme soon." Liam chuckled.

"Yes. So, Goddess wasn't my last title, like Gaia said." I wondered out loud.

"Yes it was." Gammy walked in. "Supreme was your second title."

Now we were all confused. I'm sure Gammy knew by the looks on our faces.

"Titan was your first, because both of your true parents are titans. Supreme was second, because you were born next in line. Queen was third, because you recieved Annabella. Luna was fourth, because you were mated to Thomas, an Alpha. Goddess is your fifth, and final title, because by the grace of Gaia, she saw it fitting for you." Gammy explained. "Now that you're 20, we can prepare you for your role and have you take over as Supreme."

I was speechless, but I know my face said it all.

"So soon? Gammy I just died." I whined.

Everyone laughed at my comment. Gammy sighed and rolled her eyes.

"You kids are so dramatic. I'm proud of each of you, regardless of your own antics." Gammy smiled warmly.

"I agree." My mother appeared in the middle of the living room.

I jumped up and ran to her. She embraced me in a tight hug. I missed her so much. I know I just saw her, but I thought I'd never see her again when I died. Now that everyone was here, I decided to tell them my story of the path I took to get back here.

We sat up for hours. Crying and laughing. My mother decided to leave and Gammy followed soon after. We then decided to go to bed as well. I stayed behind a little while, watching my friends go up the stairs. I turned to look out the window. The sun was lighting up the skies, but I could still see the stars. I thought of Asteria.

"Since your a high ranking Goddess now, thinking hard enough about someone can call them forth." I turned to see Asteria.

I rushed to her and embraced her in a hug.

"Thank you so much." I said hugging her tighter.

"I only did as I was told." She chuckled, hugging me back.

"But you didn't have to, you could've sided with your family." I felt her tense at my words.

"I could never. They were in the wrong. You started a revolution among the gods and titans. One day we will fight amongst ourselves and we will have equality, just as you did." She said pulling away. "I was happy to help and gain favor, from the one who will become our savior."

I was trying to register her words when she vanished. I didn't get a chance to ask questions. How do I play a part in their revolution? I'll think about it another time. I was tired and needed a lot of sleep.
