Chapter 43: Evil Plan

I was with Eric. He had been really bad since that shit happened with Daniel.
“Does that mean we have to break up?” I asked him, looking down. He was blaming Kaitlyn for everything, and because I was her sister, it seemed as if my happiness would end too.
“I don’t know”
“Then who will?” I looked at him and scoffed. “if you really can break up because of some reason that has nothing to do with me, then go on”
He sighed. “I don’t think we need a break up. I think I just need a break”
“And I am ready. but you tried to break up because of Kaitlyn. why?”
“I am sorry, I was fucked up”
I sighed. “It is okay. Have your time”
He nodded and went to his room.
I am not so sure about us anymore actually, but I think we can work out if we really want it.

Kaitlyn
I almost yelled in absolute shock. He sighed loudly.
“You didn’t know?”
“No!” I scoffed at myself. “I am so stupid!”
“You are not. And he will pay for this”
“God” I looked down and remembered the moments. I couldn’t believe that he was doing all that just to gain information.
“Did you tell him anything?” He asked me. I don’t think I told him anything evident.
“All the things I told him are a lie now” I smiled at him. “We are back together”
“Then let’s play him in his own game”
I smirked. This is gonna be fun.
We got up and then Daniel wore his clothes and decided to work according to a plan we recently made.
I nodded at him and he left. As it was morning and as a daily routine, I went downstairs and waited for Kurt in the reception.
Soon he came down.
“Oh you are late, Kaitlyn” he smiled warmly. All I felt was hatred towards his face which was all fake.
“Oh yeah, sorry”
He laughed. “No big deal”
I nodded. It was so difficult being with him now!
Anyway, I did what we normally do: go out for a walk in the park and hold hands. I didn’t do anything different so he doesn’t sense anything.
“Oh yeah” I said, whilst walking. “I divorced Daniel”
He stopped midway. “You did?”
“yes! I will also send you the document. And please don’t tell this to anyone”
he nodded. “of course”
I smiled. “Hm. I will send it to your number”
He smiled. “Okay”
I sighed. It was difficult to act this way.
Anyway, we finally made it back to the hotel and I went to my room. Luckily, he didn’t come with me. Why will he come anyway, he must be blooming in happiness after getting such a big news.
I smirked to myself because I haven’t really made any evil plans till now.
I went inside and was pulled to someone immediately. I don’t even need to see, I know when it is him. I hugged him and he hugged me back.
“I missed you”
“I missed you more”
He got away and smiled. “Did you do it?”
“It was difficult, but yeah” I smiled. “Done”
“Good. Now send this document”
I nodded and sent it. We had made two documents. One looked completely real, and the second one had a small mark saying ‘Made by Kurt’.
We were gonna replace it after he made it public so that… Well, our plan works.
I sent the ‘almost real looking’ document and a smiling emoji to Kurt. He replied with a ‘heart-in-the-eyes’ emoji.
I left it ‘seen’ and looked at Daniel. I smiled.
“I can’t believe we are finally doing something together”
“Me neither” he smiled sadly. “I never thought you’d give me another chance”
I smiled. “I know when you are sincere”
I hugged him. Maybe he made mistakes, but he realised and that is enough, I think. Suddenly, I remembered Chris going public that day.
I decided to ask him to avoid misunderstandings. “Are you and Chris on good terms?”
He thought for a moment. “I think he knows that I realised my mistake, so he is okay with me… I think. I mean, i was also shocked when he went public, so it is only natural that you were shocked too”
I nodded. “Hm, I was”
“I think he just wants to see you happy, Kate. And you know he did it because I forced him to. So…”
“I forgave him. You know that”
“Okay. Then we will visit him just after we return and do it, okay?”
“Do it? Do what?” I asked him.
“Marriage. Love marriage”
