Back then, Daniel wanted to study medicine, but the family doubted his commitment, thinking he was more likely to cause harm than save lives. The Thompson family decided to let Daniel get some experience at the Thompson Group

Daniel went to the company every day, causing trouble, flirting with female employees, and beating up male colleagues who displeased him.

Eventually, Kenneth couldn't stand Daniel's actions any longer. Numerous female employees reported that Daniel had been spying on them in the restroom and flirting with them. Kenneth feared that if Daniel stayed at the company any longer, all the employees would be scared away.

Kenneth then had a talk with Daniel, suggesting he change his name to Justin Edwards and study abroad. With the name change, he wouldn't be found out by their parents.

Daniel immediately agreed and promised to repay Kenneth once he succeeded.

Over the years, Kenneth never asked what Daniel was doing abroad. As long as Daniel was safe and kept in touch, sending a photo every few days to update Kenneth was enough.

Kenneth never expected Daniel to return without informing him and become a genius in the medical field.

Shirley heard the doctor say they needed to find Justin. She hadn't paid attention to the medical field for years and wasn't sure if there was such a medical genius.

It seemed neither the doctor nor the Thompson family knew Justin's whereabouts or how to contact him.

Shirley closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and decided to reveal the truth to save Wade. She finally mustered the courage and was about to walk into the emergency room.

"Justin, you have five minutes to get to the hospital you just started working at and save someone," Kenneth said coldly.

Shirley was stunned as she heard that Kenneth called Justin to come to the emergency room to save someone.

At this moment, everyone's eyes were on Kenneth.

"Kenneth, did you just call that medical genius?" Mary asked, full of confusion.

Mary was puzzled. No one in their family knew anyone in the medical field. Daniel had once wanted to study medicine, but they had long since quashed that idea. Given Daniel's behavior—unable to manage even a minor role at the company and only mingling with women—how could he be a medical genius? She wondered if Kenneth really knew this medical genius. Kenneth walked over to Barbara and comforted her, "Don't worry! That medical genius will be here soon to save Wade!"

Hearing this, Barbara seemed to breathe a sigh of relief and collapsed onto a bench, staring at the emergency room with tears streaming down her face.

Otis held Barbara, letting her lean into his arms.

"Kenneth, what are you doing? I was having a great time at the bar with some beauties!" Daniel rushed over, wearing a black mask, and stood in front of Kenneth, only his beautiful eyes visible; he always wore a mask when he went out, afraid his parents would see him while he was out having fun.

Kenneth knew all of Daniel's secrets. But his parents didn't. Daniel had hidden his medical studies from his parents for years and feared they would drag him back as they saw him.

Kenneth grabbed Daniel and pushed him to the emergency room door.

Daniel was scared and shouted, "Kenneth, what are you doing! Keep your cool; let's talk it out."

Kenneth didn't want to waste time talking. He pointed to the emergency room. "Wade is in there. You better save him today."

Daniel was shocked and couldn't believe it. "What? Wade is in there? What happened to him?"

Before Daniel could finish, Kenneth urgently directed him towards the operating room entrance. "Just go," Kenneth urged.

Daniel hesitated for a moment, then nodded and hurried inside. Kenneth watched as the door closed behind Daniel and took a deep breath, hoping Daniel could save Wade.

With Daniel's appearance, everyone fell silent.

Mary turned her gaze back to Shirley, glaring at her angrily, "You shameless woman, seducing Kenneth and causing Wade to end up like this. What are you still doing here? If anything happens to Wade, I won't let you off. Get out of here. Just seeing you makes me angry."

Shirley stood still as if she hadn't heard Mary, staring at the emergency room door.

Seeing Shirley unmoved, Mary got anxious. She walked up to her, raised her hand, and slapped Shirley. "Didn't you hear what I said? Are you waiting for Wade to come out so you can harm him again? Or are you waiting to seduce Kenneth?"

"I'll leave once Wade is safe," Shirley replied calmly. She had to wait until Wade was out of danger before leaving.

At this moment, Anna was full of anger. She had groomed Shirley all these years to be a seductress, but she never expected Shirley to set her sights on Kenneth. Although she was furious, the thought of Shirley's reputation in Frostholm becoming even worse brought her a small sense of satisfaction.

Anna looked at Shirley coldly. "Alright, stop lingering around. You can't help with anything, and you're making everyone uncomfortable. Just leave."

Shirley was about to say something when the operating room door opened, and everyone's attention was drawn to it. 

Otis and Barbara were the first to rush over and asked in unison, extremely nervous. "How is Wade?"

"Wade is completely out of danger, but he's still unconscious and needs to stay in the hospital for further observation," Daniel replied calmly.

Everyone breathed a sigh of relief and smiled.

Shirley finally relaxed upon hearing the news and quietly left. As she reached the door, she suddenly stopped and exchanged a meaningful look with Helen, who wore a smug expression. Ignoring Helen, Shirley turned and left.

Back at home, instead of her usual routine of taking care of the plants, Shirley took out her phone and saw the trending topic about Kenneth's injury.

She suddenly sneered inwardly, 'Everything makes sense now. Wade, who was about to go abroad, suddenly came to Kenneth's ward because he saw this trending topic, which was clearly Helen's revenge on me.'

Shirley immediately called Sophie.

"Shirley!" Sophie's voice quickly came through the phone.
