Chapter 46: "Mission JLF Company"

Isabella's Pov

I looked down at our intertwined hands that rested on my lap as I snuggled  a little more into him. It was almost two at night but there wasn't even a little bit of sleep in our eyes.

The past few days have been quite stressful for both of us, but specially Julien.

The accident, his injuries and then the big fall out with his dad which ultimately lead to him resigning from his company.

But right now, as we just simply sat in each other's company things seemed sorted. The cool breeze on the terrace  I can still close my eyes and visualize Julien's happy and astonished face when I revealed about my pregnancy to him earlier in the day today.

He surely wasn't expecting it neither was I, but I am happy too happy ! My life has changed a fucking lot since the last few months. I could have never really imagined myself in this place when I first applied for the internship with JLF Companies, but I arn't complaining, not even a tad bit.

"Why are you smiling so much ?" Julien asked looking down at me while I looked back at him. His lips carved into a soft smile as his left hand kept messing with my hair.

"Just can't get your scared face out of my mind. You looked so freaking adorable with wide eyes and open mouth !" I told with a laugh as my fingers lazily played with the buttons of his shirt.

He really did freak out and kept asking if what I was telling was true or not for the next five minutes which left me with a heated red face.

This reaction after the initial realization was really the sweetest as he kneeled down and lightly wrapped his arms around my belly, before planting a gentle kiss above our child's first little home.

Julien gave out a breathy sigh before a smile broke out on his face as his hands travelled to my belly and gently caressed me there. It was a very small gesture but really made me shiver. I could feel the tiniest bit of emotions to a much greater extent that it felt overwhelming.

Maybe the pregnancy hormones were starting to speak through my body now. And honestly it was all mixed feelings for now. It was too early to feel anything but just the realisation that now we have another little human to nurture puts up so much responsibilities.

"Bella you don't even know how much this means to me. How much both of you mean to me !" Julien spoke dreamily as if imagining our future together. Even I was doing that, us with a little baby girl or boy. I knew that Julien was going to totally spoil his kid, his eyes already spoke about the admiration and love he was going to put out to our kid.

"I know Julien, and I know you are going to be there for us no matter what," I told while looking into his eyes, he did the same but his eyes held a different emotion in them. He looked calmed down yet I knew his mind was racing. He wasn't really the one who would simply sit down and let things happen.

Julien Louise Fernando likes control in every form and I am sure he has already got it carved out.

Honestly that thought both intrigued as well as excited me. I wanted to know what he was up to, for now whatever we do concerns our baby too.

I looked back at him for a while before clearing my throat as starting to speak.

"Julien, what have you planned to do ?" He nodded his head before smiling at me, as if he already knew that I was soon going to ask that.

"A lot little Honey Head," he replied while lightly tapping my head, his fingers swiftly moved on the points of my head massaging the little headache that I hadn't even told him about.

"And what are those ?" I asked while relaxing into his satisfying work. He was good at this and I will give him that.

I heard another sigh from him before he started to speak.

"Well after thinking a lot for the past long hours, I am thinking of taking over Cabir's Company as their CEO."

Julien spoke in short sentence surprising me. He wanted to take up Cabir's place ?

But why ?

"Give some rest to your brain little Honey Head. We can't really risk your health in any way. I am going to take up Cabir's Company for a month or so. A lot of business deals and mergers are about to happen in which I am going to use strategies to down my own company. Its going to be a lot of loss and then I can simply take over it as all laws of inheritance goes null and void if the named successor cannot work well. So its kinda going to be Mission JLF Companies," Julien explained clearing my mind a little. I was still confused but yeah at least he himself was clear.

But one thing was very clear.

His family is one of the most fucked up family that I have ever heard about.

"Don't pout and ask your questions Bella, I know you are still curious," Julien spoke with a smirk making me giggle. I did have a lot of questions in my mind though.

"Why would Cabir voluntarily give up his position to you, Julien ?" I asked as he hummed before seating up a little.

"Cabir was telling me about some mysterious project or like a case he wanted to work on for a few days. Plus uncle wanted him to take care of their Sub-Company in Zurich for a while," Julien answered while sipping on the cold coffee that we got before coming to the terrace. I had finished my one hours back. Guess what he was a damn slow eater.

"Any more questions ?" Julien asked as he kept the empty cup away, his hands now holding my waist from both sides.

I thought for a while before another one came to my mind.

"Julien, I understood about the loss and everything but how will you get back the Company ? Jaimin maybe removed but how will you enter ?"

"So yeah, after Jaimin is removed a voting system kinda is done among all the employers of the Company. So ya like that I can get back as I will have the first vote from you," Julien spoke the last words right over my earlobe before nuzzling into my neck making me feel extremely ticklish.

I moved away from him with a sound as he stared at me, his eyes gaping for I left him in that way.

He has done this so many times before, but I never really found it this much ticklish ! What was wrong now ?

"Ah...I just felt too ticklish," I spoke lowly with a giggle as his facial expressions calmed down.

He simply nodded at me before getting up and coming near me.

"Its late and now both going to be mommy Honey Head and baby are tired ?" Julien spoke adorably before scooping me up in his arms, I hummed as he started moving towards our bedroom.

"Julien what if our kid's hair colour is also Honey, what will you call her or him ?" I asked with a smirk as Julien put me down on my side of the bed.

Julien laughed out before switching of the light in the room with the remote on the nightstand and then wrapped his arms around me.

"Probably junior honey head ?"

"Yeah !!" I too giggled before he wispered a good night in my ears and dropped a kiss on my cheeks.

"So Mission JLF Companies starts tomorrow ?" I asked with a sleepy voice to which he hummed, before slumber took over us.
