Chapter 211: S2- Blacklist

After returning from the old master's place, Astrid spent the entire night unable to sleep. She couldn't believe she had been deceived-no, she refused to believe it was true. Magnus was so wealthy; why would he bother scheming for her shares? Compared to his vast fortune, her shares were insignificant, a mere drop in the ocean.

The next morning, she rushed to the headquarters of Voss Group. Everyone in the company assumed she was the future president's wife, so no one dared to stop her.

She barged straight into Magnus's office, watching as he reviewed and signed documents. Taking out her compact mirror, she carefully touched up her weary face, ensuring there were no flaws before putting on a bright smile and knocking gently on the door.

"Magnus."

Magnus glanced at her. Despite her meticulously refined appearance, he still found her face utterly displeasing. His voice was cold, devoid of any warmth.

"This isn't where you belong."

Astrid's heart trembled. She bit her lip, looking at him pitifully. "In just a few days, I'll be your wife. What's wrong with me visiting my own husband's office?"

Magnus's face twisted with disgust. "Who's your husband? Don't flatter yourself. Just seeing you makes me sick. If you don't want security to throw you out, then get lost."

A loud crash echoed in her mind-it was the sound of her heart shattering. Astrid trembled, her eyes widening as tears welled up and spilled down her face. "Magnus... what did I do wrong for you to treat me like this?"

Impatient, Magnus snapped, "If you want to fool yourself, no one can stop you. But let me be clear-I never said I would marry you."

Her tears streamed down uncontrollably. "If you never planned to marry me, why did you take my shares?"

Magnus sneered. "I was merely helping Senna take back what rightfully belongs to her."

Astrid's face twisted with fury, her voice shrill as she shouted through her sobs, "So you're planning to marry that wretched woman? What's so great about her? She's a criminal! She set fires, took lives, went to prison, and even had a miscarriage!"

"There's no need for anyone else to know how amazing she is," Magnus said coldly before turning toward the door. "Someone, throw her out."

The security guards stationed outside immediately entered, grabbing the devastated Astrid and dragging her away.

She struggled, screaming in heartbreak, rage, and despair. "Magnus! You heartless bastard! When you almost died in that car accident, I was the one who stayed by your side and took care of you! Now that you've recovered, you turn your back on me like this?! I won't let you and that whore get married! If I can't have you, neither can she-"

"Shut her up."

One of the guards yanked off a rancid sock and stuffed it into her mouth.

"Mm! Mm!" The overwhelming stench, likely from days of wear without washing, nearly knocked her unconscious. Her eyes rolled back as she gagged.

The guards dragged her outside and tossed her forcefully onto the pavement outside the company entrance. One of them turned to the security post and barked, "Remember this woman. She's banned from entering the premises."

The security guard promptly snapped a photo of her with his phone and added her to the company's blacklist.

Astrid ripped the filthy sock from her mouth, her eyes burning with venomous hatred. "Magnus, you want to marry that wretched woman? I swear, I'll make sure you never get what you want in this lifetime."

The humiliation she suffered today-she would make them pay for it, with interest.

...

As the sun set in the west, Senna sat on the swing in the backyard, gently rocking back and forth. She watched as the sun slowly dipped below the horizon, and the thought of seeing Magnus later made her mood plummet.

She had to endure for now. In a week, she would kill him without hesitation to avenge Tobias. Just thinking of Tobias made her heart ache.

She pressed a hand against her chest, where a dull pain throbbed. "Tobias, if you can see this from the afterlife, please give me strength. Once I kill him, you can finally rest in peace."

Not far away, a maid noticed the temperature dropping and worried she might catch a cold. "Young Madam, it's getting windy. Let me get you a coat from inside."

Senna frowned, displeased. "How many times have I told you? Don't call me that." Between her and Magnus, there was only hatred. There would never be anything else.

"I'm sorry, Young Madam, but it's the young master's order. We don't dare disobey him. I'll get you the coat now."

The maid was helpless. If they didn't call her 'Young Madam,' the young master would be unhappy. And if he was unhappy, none of them would be able to stay in Rosewood Manor. She quickly turned to fetch the coat.

Just then, a chilling, resentful voice rang out behind her.

"Young Madam... what a beautiful title. I've spent my whole life hoping someone would call me Mrs. Voss."
