Chapter 78: Metodenia

Gremus searched for baby Tessha but couldn't find her.

For one thousand years, no sign of her. Until Kerru trapped him in Villa del Bungo – trapped for 500 years in the city of Infierno.

But fate brought them together after 1500 years.

The baby Evil heiress had become human, unaware of her immortal Black Witch Warrior heritage.

Gremus would deal with Tessha later. He'd return to Metodenia.

"It's time to go home," he whispered.

His father, Dysus, former King of Metodenia, died when Gremus was 10. The crown passed to his mother, Queen Villary, since Gremus was too young.

But then Picasio, prince of the City of Pedonia, suddenly appeared.

He captivated Queen Villary, and they married.

A year later, Kerru was born. Picasio thought he'd be Metodenia's king, but he was wrong.

According to the law, the throne could only pass through King Dysus' bloodline – Gremus was the heir.

Picasio was furious, his dream of ruling Metodenia and the Immortal realm crushed.

His anger intensified when Gremus became king. He plotted to kill Gremus through Kerru.

And now, seeing Gremus in front of him, Picasio was shocked. Kerru didn't kill him!

"Where's Kerru?" he asked himself.

Everyone was stunned to see Gremus – they thought their king was dead!

"The King is alive!" the people of Metodenia cheered.

Grand Queen Villary stood, rushing to hug her son she thought was dead. Deep down, she'd known Gremus was alive.

"Gremus," she called, tearfully.

"Queen Mother!" Gremus hugged her back.

"I'm so happy to see you again after 500 years. I knew you weren't dead," Villary cried.

"I'm alive, Mother. Stop crying – I miss you and everyone here," Gremus smiled.

"Where is Kerru?" Picasio interrupted, sensing something was off.

Gremus and Villary turned to him.

"I'm supposed to ask that. Where's Kerru?" Gremus asked, playing innocent.

"Maybe Kerru's out playing somewhere," Villary said.

Picasio seethed, fury burning within him. Gremus was alive, and playing dumb about Kerru.

"I'll kill you again," he whispered.

"Right, welcome back King Gremus," Picasio shouted with a fake smile.

The people cheered. Villary led Gremus to the throne.

She'd finally rest – one worry remained: the Prophecy.

Picasio turned, uninterested in pretending with Gremus.

Villary ignored him about Kerru being the next King when Gremus was gone.

No matter  what he did, Gremus was still the heir, dead or not.

Now that he is back, Kerru's chances of ruling Metodenia were gone.

"Enjoy while it lasts – wait for my surprise," Picasio smirked.

He rushed to his room, grabbing a dark book – the ancient book!

He'd taken it when he thought Kerru killed Gremus.

Now, it will come in handy.

The book had the ritual to trap Ramiru – and how to undo it.

He started, succeeding in freeing the Evil Emperor's soul.

This was the third and last ritual to remove the trap and barrier on Mt. Varnun.

This time, the Evil Deity and Evil Emperor will escape!

Picasio was about to open the book when something moved at the window. He stood, ready to kill the intruder.

"You'll die today," he snarled.

"Shhhh," he heard.

"Serpenta?" Picasio was shocked to see her as a tiny snake.

"Shhh," she hissed.

"Where's Kerru?" Picasio asked.

He chanted a spell in restoring Serpenta's  beast form and he succeeded.

"Prince Picasio, thank you," she said.

"Where's my son?" Picasio asked seriously, suspecting the worst.

"Kerru's sleeping in the City of Infierno. Gremus cursed him," Serpenta replied.

"Damn that bastard. Don't worry, Serpenta – we'll save Kerru and get revenge," Picasio seethed.

He opened the ancient book, chanting the final ritual. The Immortal realm shook with a loud explosion.

"The Evil Deity's awake, Serpenta. Let's go greet him," Picasio excitedly said.

"Yes, Prince Picasio," Serpenta replied.

They headed to Mount Varnun.

Meanwhile...

"Bad news, King Gremus – the barrier's lifted. The Evil Emperor and Evil Deity escaped," a Light Shadow warrior reported.

"Dragor, let's check the mountain," Gremus ordered.

Dragor emerged from his ring, and they rushed to Mount Varnun.

When they get there. Ramiru and the Evil Emperor were gone.

Mount Varnun was torn into pieces.

"Tessha's in danger," Gremus is worried.

"What's your plan, My King?" Dragor asked.

"We're going to the human world," Gremus replied.

Meanwhile, Picasio was furious that Ramiru didn't wake up.

He is still coldly sleeping.

"Before he slept, Master said the only thing that can awaken him is his daughter's blood. Where's the Evil heiress? Did you find her?" the Evil Emperor asked.

Picasio sighed deeply.

"No, we have no news. She vanished," he said seriously.

"What? Damn! How will my master wake up without her!" the Evil Emperor shouted.

"I think Prince Kerru knows where she is," Serpenta chimed in.

She and Kerru knew Tessha was the Evil heiress.

"Where's Kerru?" the Evil Emperor asked.

"He's trapped by Gremus in the City of Infierno," Picasio replied.

"Then release him!" the Evil Emperor ordered.

"My power's not enough to lift Kerru's curse. It needs a powerful wizard or god," Picasio said.

"I'm not a wizard or god, but I possess some of my Master's power. I can lift it," the Evil Emperor said confidently.

Picasio was overjoyed when Kerru was finally free from Gremus' curse.

"Wait for my comeback, my brother," Kerru said with a smirk when he woke up.
