Chapter 71: A night to remember part 1

Tessha woke up feeling dizzy and weak. She looked around and she was in her room at Villa del Bungo!

She blinks her eyes a few times. Just maybe she is dreaming but she's not!

She looked to her left side and was surprised to see a handsome man smiling at her!

Tessha's eyes fluttered open, and she found herself staring at a stranger's face.

"W-who are you?" she stammered, her voice shaking.

The man before her smiled.

"You're finally awake!" he exclaimed, his voice warm and gentle.

Tessha's gaze narrowed, suspicion creeping in.

"Is this you, Kerru? You're using another face again. But you can't fool me!" she spat, her anger rising.

The man's laughter is like thunder, deep and resonant, shaking the very air around them. "Hahahaha."

"What's funny?" Tessha scowl.

The man's expression turned serious, his eyes piercing.

"You forgot me easily?" he asked, his voice low and velvet-smooth.

Tessha looks at him closely from head to foot.

Her eyes widened in shock.

"Is that you, Gremus?" she asked.

Gremus' face broke into a warm smile.

"Finally!" he exclaimed.

"Hello, My name is Gremus the Great Wizard from Metodenia." Gremus introduced himself.

Tessha is overcome with joy, and she launches herself at Gremus, nearly knocking him off balance.

Gremus stumbled, caught off guard, and ended up holding Tessha in an awkward embrace.

"I thought I would never see you again!" Tessha sobbed, her face buried in Gremus's chest. "I thought that I would die without looking at you for the last time.

"Gremus' expression softened, and he wrapped his arms around Tessha, holding her close.

"Shhh... I won't let something bad happen to you," he whispered, his voice gentle.

Tessha hugs him back while still crying. She's safe but she remembers her dead friends!

Her face crumbled, and she sobbed, her anger giving way to despair.

"My friends are all dead! Where's Kerru? I will kill him!" she angrily said.

"Calm down, they are all safe and are waiting for you at the pool area." Gremus gently tapped her shoulder.

Tessha's eyes widened in disbelief.

"Seriously? They all died in front of me, Gremus!" she whispered, her voice cracking.

Gremus' eyes filled with empathy, and he cupped Tessha's face.

"Don't be sad, I promise that I will let you all get out of here alive," he whispered, his words a gentle promise.

He caressed her cheek, his touch warm and reassuring, as he gazed into her eyes. "Trust me, Tessha."

Tessha feels a sudden hotness when Gremus touches her face. It's just that she's been electrocuted a million in voltage!

"Thank you, Gremus." she said while looking at him intensely.

"Don't mention it. Let's go, they're waiting for you." Gremus smiled.

Tessha suddenly leaned in, her lips brushing against Gremus' cheek.

"Mwah!!!" The sound of the kiss echoed through the air.

Gremus' eyes widened in surprise, his face frozen for a moment before a sly smirk spread across his lips.

"You're tempting me, little Witch!" he said.

"I'm not! I just want to say thank you for all you've done for me. For us!" Tessha's face flushed, ashamed from what she did.

"That's not how to say thank you, Tessha." Gremus smirked.

"Oh? Then how?" Tessha's eyes sparkled with curiosity.

"Like this!" He reached out, his hands cupping her face, and pressed his lips to hers.

Tessha's eyes become round when she feels Gremus' lips on her!

She slowly closes her eyes and savors the kiss that Gremus let her experience.

When suddenly-

"O.M.G! You have a secret boyfriend, Tessha?" Evitta shouted, her eyes fixed on Gremus.

Tessha jumped out of Gremus' arms, her face flinging with embarrassment as Evitta suddenly appeared.

Gremus chuckled, a low, throaty sound, clearly amused by the situation.

Tessha's face lit up with joy as she flung herself at Evitta.

"You're alive, Evitta!" she exclaimed, wrapping her arms around her friend.

"Wait, I'm choking!" Evitta's voice was muffled as Tessha squeezed her tight.

"Oh, sorry! I'm just happy." Tessha released her, still beaming.

Evitta rolled her eyes, a teasing glint in her gaze.

"Of course I am alive. What are you thinking, Tessha?" she asked confused.

"I'm just happy, Evitta!" Tessha grin.

"Hmmm. Tell me the truth, Tessha." Evitta's expression turned sly, her eyes darting to Gremus and back to Tessha.

"No, it's not what you think-" Tessha tried to defend herself and reasoned out.

Tessha didn't finish what she was saying when Gremus held her hand in front of Evitta.

"Hello, I'm Gremus. Tessha's boyfriend." Gremus smiled.

Evitta's eyes widened in shock, and she let out a squeal.

"Oh my God! I couldn't believe this! It's big news, Tessha! Gotta tell the others!" She turned and ran in excitement.

"Where are you going, Evitta?" Tessha called after her.

Gremus chuckled, his eyes circling at the corners.

"She's happy for you."

"She said she'll tell the others- Does it mean that they are all alive?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

"Yes, all of them. You'll all go home after your spooky vacation." Gremus smile is reassuring.

"Thank you, Gremus." Tessha's eyes welled up in tears.

Gremus' expression softened.

"Stop crying and let's go. I've held a party for all of you. This is our first and last party together..." He said while wiping Tessha's tears.

"Last party? Don't say that! You can go with us or visit me, You have a power, Gremus. You can do anything!" Tessha encouraged him.
