Chapter 241

DACIANA'S POV

----

I looked at Bryan who was seated in a corner of the hut crossed legged with his eyes closed.

He seemed to have merged with his surroundings at the moment. I couldn't help but smile when I saw it.

I didn't expect him to get it so fast. I knew there was no witch or wizard nearby to teach Bryan how to use his powers for over the past twenty years.

So I was sure his abilities must have been left untapped. Even though I was sure Ana would have taught him how to use his other ability I still couldn't help but be sad for some moments.

Since I knew I had not much time left, I had decided to teach him how to use his other ability.

But before that I wanted him to achieve his peak state. I wanted him to be one with the world just like I had felt twenty years ago.

Even though I didn't know if Bryan would be able to achieve that state I still gave it a try.

It was only if he became one with the world that he would understand his powers better.

So I had no choice but to do this. And surprisingly Bryan was a fast learner.

Before I knew it, he was able to become one with his surroundings even though he hadn't achieved the ultimate state.

I couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness as I watched him. I was going to be leaving him soon even though I hadn't spent much time with him.

Even though my wish was to spend my last days with him, I guess I would have to rethink as he had many things to learn.

I must teach him all that I knew or else it was going to be useless.

I looked over to the ice which was placed at the far end of the room.

I couldn't help but smile as I looked at the ice. Dorian was yet to be awake.

He was also asleep for twenty years. I couldn't help but wonder what he had undergone for him to go into this kind of slumber.

It was just too unnatural. I would have thought that he was dead if not for the fact that we were connected in some way.

I wondered if I was ever going to see Dorian before my death. It was one of my wishes and I was quite sure it was going to be left unfulfilled.

I hoped that Dorian was having nightmares continuously for the past twenty years.

I knew he had suffered much just like I did and my heart couldn't help but ache.

I had already forgiven him for all he had for me as it was his fault.

If I wasn't wrong, the culprit must be dead. I looked over to Bryan again and sighed.

I didn't know if he was going to forgive his father for what he had done.

I hoped he was going to find a place in his heart to forgive him or else I wouldn't be leaving the world with my heart in peace.

I would be troubled by the fact that my mate and child were not on good terms even though they were related by blood.

One was the father and the other was the son. Even though many didn't have a cordial relationship with their sons I didn't want mine to be that way.

I knew I couldn't teach Bryan how to cast a spell, all I could teach him was to master the use of the four elements.

As for advanced spells, I probably won't be alive to teach him that. I could feel my strength dwindling with each passing second.

I was probably going to be six feet under the soil by the time he was going to be ready to cast a spell.

I looked over to Bryan again only to see that he was immersed even more.

I was already starting to feel the aura in him, and even though I was the only opportunity to use the power once, I could still recognize the aura once I felt it.

All I hoped was that he was going to be able to control the Power once it came to him.

It wasn't easy being one with mother nature, also it wasn't easy to control her enormous powers.

One could easily go berserk if they were not careful as the power was going to eat them inside out.

I couldn't help but feel a sense of guilt when I saw that he was getting closer and closer to achieving ultimate Control.

I shouldn't have made him try it, he didn't have any experience, and it was going to be a disaster if he lost control.

But then, he would be needing it if he wanted to defeat Laura. Without having powers as enormous as mother nature it was impossible to defeat Laura.

I would have been more confident that Bryan didn't need mother nature's help if I had been training him for the past twenty years.

But the thing was that I wasn't there to teach him, so it was the only way possible.

"Crack!!"

I heard a loud crack and immediately I turned in that direction only to see a large crack in the ice.

At that time Ana rushed in from outside, but when she saw the huge crack in the ice she was shocked.

Bryan was also forced to open his eyes as the sound distracted him.

No, it wasn't the sound that distracted him, but rather, the cold feeling that spread throughout the room.

"Crack!"

"Crack!"

"Crack?!"

A loud bang was heard continuously and more cracks began to appear on the ice which spread rapidly.

My heart couldn't help but race when I saw this. Was Dorian finally waking up?

Yeah, it should be. I was going to see him before I leave the world.

"Katcha!!"

Another loud bang was heard and the ice blew up to pieces flying all over the place.

The next moment, a familiar male figure sat up from the ice looking around suspiciously.

"Where am I?" His voice broke the silence as I, Ana, and Bryan stared at him.

Even though he was muttering to himself we could hear it.

Suddenly the man looked up in my direction and his eyes widened in shock.

The expression on his face was numerous and I couldn't count them.

"Daciana... Daciana." He shutter as he called my name.

Tears welled up in my eyes when I heard his voice. It was him. He was back.
