Chapter 77 - EPILOGUE

Ten months after the birth of the triplets, named Royce, Bentley, and Porsche, the Alpha King and Luna Queen celebrated their first-year wedding anniversary. Of course, everyone in the Kingdom has been invited including the Alphas from different packs.

The triplets can walk already, as a matter of fact, they can already run fast.

“Nanny Marcy, where is Bentley?” the Luna Queen said when she cannot spot his second-born son. Of the three, the naughtiest is Bentley and of course, the crybaby is the only princess, Porsche, while Royce the eldest is the most reserved and refined. He rarely cries or gives his parents a headache, unlike Bentley.

The Nanny, who just for while removed her eyes from her assigned Prince to take care of, suddenly went pale when she noticed that indeed, Bentley is not around anymore. They are in the Grand hall since the occasion is already about to start.

Outside, a newly arrived guest, an Alpha, and his wife walk toward the palace gate. While walking to the palace gate, they noticed a little boy running out of the palace gate. They look at each other. The little boy is familiar with them.

The Alpha runs to catch the little boy. “Hello, handsome boy, where are you going?” he asked. His Luna is beside him already while looking keenly at the face of the little lad.

“Hon, this little boy looks like the Alpha King. Let us bring him back inside the palace. He might be one of the triplets of the Alpha King,” the Luna said.

The Alpha carries the little boy and was about to turn around to walk now to the palace gate when warriors surrounded them with rifles in their hands.

“Put down the Prince and don’t move!” said the Delta of the Kingdom, who is heading the warriors. The Delta recognized the Alpha and his fears arise thinking that the Alpha is trying to kidnap the Prince.

“We are here in peace. We are here to attend the celebration, I, being the first cousin of the Luna Queen,” the Alpha’s Luna said, while the Alpha puts his hands up in surrender.

“Alpha Branden! Luna Daina!” Luna Queen Andreitte shouted as she saw the two being surrounded by the warriors.

Alpha Branden and Luna Daina bow their heads to the Luna Queen. “My Luna Queen, our apologies for coming even if we were not invited,” Alpha Branden said in a low and polite voice.

“Luna Queen Andreitte, it is good to see you again. We are here, for finally, I was able to convince my husband to revive his allegiance to the Kingdom.”

The Luna Queen looks at Daina with a penetrating gaze, seemingly checking her sincerity. “Why only now, Daina?” she asked thereafter, while her son Bentley runs beside her.

“It took a long time for me to get pregnant. I am pregnant now, two weeks. My husband, Alpha Branden, promised me that if I can give him an heir, whatever would be the gender, he will bow down his head once again to the Alpha King and Luna Queen, for he knows that the greatest gift he can give to his child is safety and peaceful life,” Daina said with a shaking voice, while her eyes started to mist. Alpha Branden put his arms around his wife’s shoulders and looks at the Luna Queen with a sincere smile on his lips.

“My wife is right, Luna Queen Andreitte. I cannot bring back the life of my sister but I can still do something to make sure that what happened to her will not happen to my children. Besides, I heard that with your convincing abilities, the Alpha King will already put an end to the tradition of choosing an Alpha’s breeder. That is another factor that made me decide to surrender back to the Alpha King’s authority. There is no reason for me anymore to go against the kingdom if the very reason for my defiance will be removed already.” Alpha Branden stated with sincerity and politeness.

Luna Queen Andreitte smiles with mist in her eyes. She is happy that things turn out well. Her dreams of putting an end to the rebellion are already happening. “You are correct, Alpha Branden. Today, the Alpha King will announce it. Anyhow, the majority of the Alphas already agreed to the new rule provided that the current Alpha’s breeder will finish her five-year term first.”

“I hope the Alpha King is still open to accepting my re-allegiance. As you can see, we came here without any support from our warriors. We came here ready for whatever consequences.” Alpha Branden said softly again.

“Don’t be afraid, come with me, Alpha Branden and Luna Daina. I will tell the Alpha King of your purpose for coming here.”

With that, Luna Queen Andreitte, together with her son, who she is carrying now, walks back inside the palace, followed by Alpha Branden and Luna Daina.

Everyone fell into silence when the Luna Queen carrying his missing son comes inside the grand hall together with the Rogue Alpha and his Luna.

Alpha King Dantes stands up immediately when he saw who are the two persons, accompanying his wife when she enters the grand hall.

“My Alpha King they are here for peace. Alpha Branden finally realized that there is no reason for him anymore to go against your authority. They came to take their oath of allegiance again to the Kingdom.” It was Luna Queen Andreitte who spoke.

The Alphas are all in relief when they heard what the Luna Queen had just said.

The Alpha King looks at Alpha Branden and Luna Daina with his fierce and penetrating eyes. Quickly, Alpha Branden and Luna Daina, walk toward the Alpha and bow their heads in submission to the authority of the Alpha King.

“Give me my golden Swiss knife,” the Alpha King said while giving his Beta a quick glance.

In an instant, Beta Manro leaves the grand hall and when he returns after a few seconds, he is already holding the golden Swiss knife of the Alpha King.

Beta Manro handed to the Alpha King the golden Swiss knife while in the bowed head.

Holding now the golden Swiss Knife, the Alpha King looks at Alpha Branden. “Give me your hand, Alpha Branden,” he ordered, to which the former Rogue Alpha heeds immediately.

The Alpha King slashes the middle part of Alpha Branden’s right hand and then he opens his own right hand and did the same to his palm. Thereafter, he offers his right hand to Alpha Branden and the latter accepted the same with his right hand too. As their hands clasp, all the Alphas stand up and cheer.

While Luna Queen Andreitte and Luna Daina look at each other with tears in their eyes. Happiness envelopes them for they know, it will be the start of a new life, a peaceful and happier life.

From then on, the former Rogue Alpha became the number one supporter and defender of the Alpha King. He became loyal to the Kingdom together with his former Rogue warriors, who like him, took their oath of allegiance again to the Alpha King.
