Chapter 72: Do Not Look At Me Like That

Walking to the room of the Luna Queen, Gamma Reden’s mind was with her mate, Wynaly. He could not fathom how she might have suffered during her younger years for having such a hard life.

He reached the room of Luna Queen Andreitte and knocked on her door. 

“My Luna Queen, I will be nearby to guard you,” he said as the door opens, and saw the smiling new Luna Queen.

“Gamma Reden, there is actually no need to guard me. We are inside the palace, nothing will happen to me,” Luna Queen Andreitte said, while mentally rolling her eyes. It is absurd for her that the Gamma would be like her shadow, guarding her all the time as part of his main duties as a Gamma.

“Please allow me to do it, my Queen Luna. It is a privilege for me as a Gamma to protect the Luna Queen of this Kingdom.” He bowed his head and then smiled at Luna Queen Andreitte.

“Alright. I have no right to refuse anyway,” jokingly, Luna Queen Andreitte said while shrugging her shoulders. “By the way, did you talk to the Alpha King already, Gamma Reden?” 

Gamma Reden nodded. “Yes, Luna Queen Andreitte. I was able to breathe a new when I heard what he said, although I felt sad about what kind of life my mate suffered during her younger years.” 

With an understanding look, Luna Queen Andreitte tapped his right shoulder and smiled. “Just let her feel that you deserve to be trusted and that you are going to make you happy and protected,” she then said, before she excused herself from him and motioned that she will be going to close her door already.

“Thank you, my Luna Queen. I will heed your advice and that of Alpha King Dantes.”

When the Luna Queen closed the door of her room, Gamma Reden walked toward the nearby couch and there he sat while his eyes were focused on the door of the Luna Queen’s room. For a while, Gamma Reden tried to eliminate the thought about his mate, as he focused his attention on his duties to the Luna Queen.

A day after, while the Alpha King was relaxing together with his wife on the balcony while she sips her hot chocolate, and he has his brewed coffee, he minds linked with his Gamma and told him that it is time for him to visit the new Alpha’s Breeder.

Happily, Gamma Reden replied, “Thank you, my Alpha King. I will go now to the mini castle then.”

“Go and remember what I have told you,” Alpha King Dantes said with sincerity. He as the Alpha King who found his mate, his love, and his happiness, took it upon himself to do something so that his loyal men will find the same love and happiness that he has with their real mates. 

“Hmm, why are you smiling, hubby?” Luna Queen Andreitte asked when she noticed the sudden smile on her husband’s lips.

With such a smile still on his lips, he looked at his Luna Queen and said, “Gamma Reden is now on his way to the mini castle to speak with the new Alpha’s breeder, Wynaly.”

“Oh, that’s good to hear. I am hoping everything will turn out for the best between Gamma Reden and his mate.” She clasped her hands and with hope in her eyes, she looked at his husband with love in her eyes.

Chuckling, Alpha King Dantes cupped her face and grinned at her. “My love, do not look at me like that while we are still here on the balcony,” he murmured with a tease on his expression.

With her one brow lifted, Luna Queen Andreitte asked, “And, why?”

His grin went wider as he heard her question. “I might make love to you here on the balcony,” he said softly behind her right ear, his warm breath sending tickles in her.

She looked at her with wide eyes. “Oh gosh, don’t you dare attempt doing such a thing here? It will be an embarrassment if one of the guards will see us doing that deed here,” she said in an exclamatory tone.

The Alpha King laughed out loud seeing the expression of his wife, who suddenly stood up and grabbed his hand.

“What? Where are we going?” he asked still with laughter.

“Let us go not to our room!” she said hissing at him while pulling him up.

“Why?” he asked teasingly.

“Just follow, alright. Not because you are the Alpha King, you will not follow your wife. Get up now!” 

Amused now, Alpha King Dantes, stood up and in one swift motion that made her scream because of surprise, she was already in his muscular arms. He carried his wife, bridal style and in a flash, they were already inside their room.

“We are here in our room now, wife. Tell me, what is in your mind, hmm?” he asked with his eyes shining with excitement.

“Oh, nothing, we will just rest,” she said not looking at him. She suddenly felt shy at him. Although they were husband and wife already, she still felt embarrassed to make the first move when she is in her heat and in need of his passionate lovemaking.

Looking at her with mischief in his eyes, he slowly put her down on the bed and his body followed suit, on top of her.

Their eyes locked with love and tenderness, and by then they knew what they both wanted. He slowly lowered his head and when it was just an inch away from her lips, she suddenly put her fingers on top of his lips.

“My Alpha King, you failed to remember that your wife is pregnant and the doctor said, it is not advisable for her to have strenuous activities.” Her voice was without firmness and the Alpha King knew that his wife wanted to make love as much as he do. 

He sighed and inhaled deeply before whispering something to her. "My love, the doctor is not here and he will never know."
