Chapter 123: Chapter 123 – Epilogue

Lilly’s POV

The nursery window was open, letting in the soft morning breeze. Sunlight dappled the floor, playing across the cribs lined up side by side. I stood in the middle of the room, rocking our daughter gently in my arms while the boys dozed in their cribs, their tiny chests rising and falling in peaceful rhythm.

Lex leaned against the doorframe, a tired but contented smile on his lips. He’d hardly left our side since the pups were born, and I often caught him gazing at us with awe. I loved him even more for it.

“We survived,” he whispered, crossing the room to wrap his arms around me. “All of us.”

I smiled, resting my head on his shoulder. “We did. And now we get to raise a family—together.”

He pressed a kiss to my forehead. “I never thought I’d feel this at home. Or this happy. You and the pups… you’re my everything, Lilly. This is more than just a dream for me.”

The door swung open again, and Adira tiptoed in, followed by Zack, who immediately made a beeline for one of the boys’ cribs. He couldn’t wait to have his own little ones in the near future, and the sight of him grinning down at my son made my heart swell.

Adira came to my side, her eyes shining with the kind of pride only a best friend could have.

“Look at you,” she whispered, brushing my daughter’s cheek. “Queen, mother, mate. You really did become everything you were meant to be—and more.”

My heart swelled, not just with gratitude but with relief. After everything—the pain, the battles, the heartbreak—peace had finally found us. I wasn’t anxious about the future anymore. With my family, friends, and mate beside me, I felt like I could conquer anything.

In the weeks since the birth of the triplets, the pack had entered a new era. Lex and I were now officially king and queen, and I finally received the respect I’d always deserved. We strived to rule as fairly as King Alexander and Queen Emily had, seeking their advice whenever needed.

Sade remained behind bars in an institution for dangerous werewolves, her power finally contained. The council claimed she had become a model prisoner, but Lex cautioned them against her manipulation. She now wore a similar bracelet to bind her limited magic—just as a precaution.

I, on the other hand, still wore the bracelet Angelica gave me, a reminder of everything I’d endured. One day, I would tell my pups the story of the wolfless, orphan girl who became queen.

Angelica’s reign of terror was over, and for the first time in years, the pack knew true safety. Alpha Alex personally destroyed her remains. There was no funeral, no service in her honor—nothing. Only a fire reduced her to ashes, which he let the wind carry away.

“It is sad, actually,” Asena mused. “But that’s what she deserved. She only ever caused pain.”

I didn’t argue; it was true.

My thoughts shifted to Adira and her family. The coven had, surprisingly, regained all their magic. Adira theorized that the Onyx medallion, instead of saving their magic for the next generation, had actually stolen and stored it. Since its destruction, their magic had returned tenfold, and the coven flourished as never before.

Hendrix and Danielle made it official in a small but beautiful ceremony. They now lived in a cottage on the edge of our territory, bordering Danielle’s family pack. Danielle had just discovered she was expecting their first pup, and everyone looked forward to the giant celebration to come.

We saw Hendrix often—he’d joined the warrior program, but he popped in frequently to play with the pups, his laughter filling our home and making it feel even more alive.

Doug, Adira’s father, had softened, doting on Zack and treating him like a true son. He’d given his blessing, and Zack and Adira planned their mating ceremony for early spring.

Ria had become the pups’ honorary godmother, stopping by every day to share her wisdom. Sometimes I’d find her outside at night, whispering her gratitude to the moon. She and Gavin were also expecting their first pup soon.

Luna Emily and Alpha Alexander, along with my parents, decided it was time for a vacation. They left for a three-month tour around the world, planning to return just before Zack and Adira’s ceremony. The house felt different without them, but knowing they were making new memories brought me joy.

I looked around the nursery at the people I loved—my mate, my pups, my family, my friends—and knew that everything we’d endured was worth it. Zack had taken Zane, our firstborn, into his arms. Ria had gathered Jackson, the loud one, making funny faces until he giggled. The room was filled with soft laughter, contented sighs, and the kind of happiness that lingers in the air.

Lex squeezed my hand. “Ready to go see the pack?” he asked softly.

I nodded. “Let’s introduce the next generation of royals.”

Together, we stepped outside onto the balcony in the morning light, our family by our side. The pack had gathered below, their faces full of pride, hope, and joy. I looked up at Lex, and he nodded, letting me lead.

As I lifted our daughter, Melanie, the crowd erupted in celebration, their howls and cheers echoing through the forest. The moment was everything I’d dreamed of—peace, love, unity, and the unbreakable strength of a family. The future felt limitless, each heartbeat in the crowd echoing a promise that our legacy would endure.

Our story wasn’t ending—it was only just beginning.

And for the first time, I knew without a doubt that whatever came next, we would face it together.

The End
