Chapter 67

Rayna

I stood looking at them yelling at each other. My so-called mother was yelling at Susan, and Susan was cursing Ian. Damon Ross and his daughter were just staring at them, then at each other. Well, this was what I brought them here for.

RAYNA: Shut the fuck up, or I swear I will tape your mouths up.

SUSAN: You, you did this.

CATHY: You, you always loved to create drama where there was never any.

DAMON: I can’t believe this. All this time, I had another child.

AMELIA: Mom’s going to fucking kill you.

DAMON: Shut the hell up.

RAYNA: Didn’t I say to shut up? So where were we?

“You were telling us about Camry’s father, and Susan and Cathy were screwing with each other’s husbands,” Grandfather said, smiling. I smiled and shook my head; this old man was really enjoying this.

RAYNA: Ahh, yes. Now Ian, what were you doing in that house? The day I found you beaten and left for dead?

IAN: I don’t have to fucking answer you?

HENDRICK: I don’t know how you ended up there, but I never laid a hand on you. Thompson was there. We had an argument about a business deal.

IAN: You’re lying.

HENDRICK: No, I am not. Rayna asked me, and I told her the truth. I didn’t even know you were there.

IAN: You fucking lying bastard, then who hit me?

RAYNA: Your woman and her man

IAN: What bullshit are you talking about?

RAYNA: Well, obviously. After Cathy became Mrs. Wilson, she was living the life, but being who and what she is, a whore, she wasn’t happy with Hendrick because he was busy taking care of his business.

When one day a friend of Hendrick’s came to the house. He said all the right words to her, and she ate it up, being the desperate woman she is. She was having an affair with Ian and Gerald Thompson.

HENDRICK: What?

I saw the way everyone looked at her.

RAYNA: Oh yes, after you felt guilty about the affair with Susan and ended it, you dear wife was being fucked by Ian and Gerald. Guess who my father is.

“Rayna” Adrian said, his tone a warning but also scared.

RAYNA: Ohh, don’t worry, Ian isn’t my father.

HENDRICK: Gerald is your biological father?

RAYNA: Bingo. Go on, Ian, tell them why you really went there.

IAN: Fine. I found out this bitch was fucking Gerald. Happy now.

RAYNA: Yes. Ian found out; someone sent him pictures of Cathy and Gerald, so he went there to confront her and tell Hendrick everything. Cathy had left, saying she was taking Camry to the mall. Told me not to step out of my room because my father had guests over. Hendrick, you said after your fight with Gerld, when you walked into the kitchen, she was there?

HENDRICK: Yes, and I had no idea she returned. It was only when you mentioned it that I remembered that there was too much blood on the kitchen floor to have come from Geraald.

RAYNA: Precisely. Dear Cathy, Here knew Gerad would be over; that was why she left, but on the way out, she saw Ian heading towards the house. She left Camry and came back. She confronted you, didn’t she, Ian?

I could see him trying to remember.

IAN: Wait, no. It's fuzzy. Now I remember. She saw me and dragged me into the kitchen. I confronted her about Gerald, then… I… wait… I never saw who hit me. It was from behind.

He said slowly, I could see realization in his eyes.

IAN: YOU FUCKING BITCH, I’LL KILL YOU THE FIRST CHANCE I GET. YOU TOO, THOMPSON, I’LL KILL BOTH OF FUCKING YOU.

RAYNA: Hendrick went to take a call, and when Gerald walked into the kitchen, he heard what you said and hit you. It was after that Hendrick got into the argument with Gerald, who had them go back into the living room. They hid Ian from Hendrick. It was when I came down for that that I found you and tried to help you. You gave me the pendant with the Wolfe family logo.

IAN: I… I… re… I remember that now.

RAYNA: After that Cathy and Gerald stayed away from each other. Meeting in different places. Shortly after that Gerald ended their affair, and now it’s all out there.

HENDRICK: When Rayna left, Cathy, you said she went to live with some family. Jackson Fowler was alive. She came and asked you for money for surgery. When Rayan left. I deposited money for her education, but apparently, she never received a single dollar, so where and who did that money go to?

CATHY: It went to Camry; she didn’t deserve anything.

RAYNA: Of course I didn’t. She hated me, resented me, and didn’t want to see me because Gerald left her; I reminded her of him. She was in love with him, and he ended it. She was planning to leave you and be with him.

IAN: Susan is Adrian's child?

RAYN: Oh, he is. I’m sure of it. If anyone thinks I’m lying, here are all the documents. Ian, it would be wise for you to stop whatever plans you have. Your father and son. Your entire family did everything they could to help you. Susan was poisoning you while you were in bed in a coma. If you want someone to blame, then blame the woman you married. I will never acknowledge Gerald Thompson as my father.

HENDRICK: As of this moment Cathy Wilson is no longer my wife. Camry Wilson is no longer my daughter. I will be filing for a divorce. Rayna. I’ll take the offer you mentioned.

RAYNA: Great, I’ll see you tomorrow. It would be better to have it down before you file for divorce; that way she gets nothing.

HENDRICK: She won’t get a single dime, not even a sparing look from me.

Adrian

Jesus Christ, Rayna really went looking for all the details. Hendrick stood up and walked out. I saw Rayna nod at Armin, and he began untying them. Amelia Walked out in a huff. Damon looked at my mother for a while, then followed his daughter. My father, on the other hand, made a dash towards Gerald, but Armin stopped him.

“Ian, if you want to go at anyone, please do it outside of this compound,” Rayna said, looking at him. He didn’t say anything; he just walked away. Gerald walked over to Rayna.

“I’m sorry,” he said.

“I don’t need or want anything from you. Not even an apology. Get out,” Rayna said. We watched them all leave one by one, but not before Cathy threatened Rayna that she would pay for what she did.

“Well, this was extremely enlightening and entertaining,” the old man said, standing up.

“I can’t believe this is what these women were up to.” Aunt Lisa said, shaking her head.

“Well someone left a package for me. Those pictures and documents , all the evidence Now I need to find out who the hell did that to my daughter.” She said.
