Chapter 17: Becoming Alpha and Luna and Marking and Mating

I can't believe that a week has flown by. Our Alpha and Luna ceremony is tomorrow at 5pm and then there is a party to follow. Right now I am cleaning the Alpha suites so that we can move our things in later. This place is huge. It has a kitchen, dining room, living room, master suite, 2 offices, a den, 4 other bedrooms, and five bathrooms. It also has walk-in closets and a big balcony. I am making sure that every inch of this place is clean and mopped.

It is now 6pm and I have finally finished cleaning. The front door suddenly opens and Colton walks in.

"Hey babe, ready to go eat?"

I say, "Yes, i just finished with the cleaning."

"It looks great. Sorry, I had some important files to go through. Plus my dad was going over all of the pack members and finances with me, Otherwise, I would have been here to help you."

I say, "It is ok. At least now it is done and we can start moving our things in tomorrow."

Colton says, "How about after we eat, we move our stuff over? Noah and Sam also want to move their things in tonight too. That way we do not have to worry about it tomorrow. I will also have some warriors help then of course our parents are going to help too. We will have it done in no time."

"That will be so great. I don't want to have to move in the morning and then finish everything for the ceremony. It will be too hectic."

"I agree," he says.

We then go to his house and eat dinner with his parents. After dinner, we meet everyone outside.

There are at least 15 people waiting to help us.

Colton turns to me and says, "How about you go over to the packhouse and tell them where to put everything? You cleaned the whole place by yourself and now it is my turn to do the heavy lifting. Plus with all of these guys, we will only have to make one trip."

I have tears in my eyes and I kiss him and say, "Thank you so much. I am so tired."

He just hugs me and nods his head.

I then walk to the packhouse with Sam and go up to the 5th floor. Katie gets off on the 4th floor to go to the Beta's suites. I walk around and just look at everything. It already has the furniture in it and all of the appliances in the kitchen. The dining room is also set up too. They just have to bring up all of the boxes and some linen that I bought. Once all of the boxes are brought up, I start unpacking everything. I bought all new bedding for our room and some rugs for the bathroom. I also bought some new curtains and a throw for the sofa. Everything is put in its place. We then leave the packhouse and go home for our last night in his parents house.

It is now the next morning, and our Alpha and Luna ceremony is today. I so wish that Bethany could be here, but she said that she couldn't come. I am excited to be Luna, but sad because Bethany cannot be here. We have done everything together. Sam and I are now getting ready for the ceremony. I am wearing a white strapless dress that flows to the ground with a slit up one side. My hair is in an updo and my make-up has been done. Sam is wearing a light blue strapless dress that goes to her knees. She has her hair curled and left to hang down her back. Her make-up is also done.

It is time to go down stairs for the ceremony. We get to the last stair and Colton and Noah are standing there waiting for us. Noah sweeps Sam off of her feet and tells her how beautiful she looks. Colton grabs me and kisses me.

He says, "Wow Everly, you look stunning. I can't wait for tonight."

I say, "Thanks, you look so handsome. I am excited for tonight too."

We then hold hands and head outside. Colton and I walk out onto the stage where Alpha Micheal, Luna Ivy and my parents are waiting. Noah and Sam are following behind us. The whole pack is here to witness the passing of the titles. Colton goes first and does his oaths. Then I go. Last is Noah and Sam's oaths. Then we have to cut our palms and place them on our predecessor's palms. We immediately hear all kinds of people's voices in the mindlink. It is very overwhelming. We now are linked to the entire pack. Everyone is telling us congratulations.

Alpha Micheal says, "Colton and Everly are your new Alpha and Luna and Noah and Sam are your new Beta and Beta-female. Let's give them a round of applause. Now it is time for the party, everyone please enjoy the food and the dancing."

We go off of the stage and head for the party. Colton pulls me back for a second to where we can have some privacy. He pushes me against the wall of the packhouse and starts kissing me.

He whispers in my ear, "My Luna, I am so happy. I love you so much. Let's only stay at the party for a little while because then I want you all to myself."

I just nod my head at him and then kiss him again.

We break apart and go to the party. I see my mom and dad and give them big hugs. They tell me that they are so proud of me. Plus they finally get to retire along with Alpha Micheal and Luna Ivy. We all get some food and then sit down to eat. Colton and I make the rounds to talk to all of the pack members. Then the music starts and we go and dance for a little bit.

Noah comes over to me and says, "Hey E, congrats on being Luna. You are going to be an awesome Luna."

I say, "Thanks brother. You are going to be an awesome Beta."

We then hug for a little bit and Colton makes the announcement that we will retire to our room for the rest of the night and so will Noah and Sam to their rooms. Everyone claps for us and then Colton grabs my hand and Noah grabs Sam's and we all go into the packhouse. We finally get to our room and Colton already has the room filled with roses and champagne. The lights are dimmed and there is soft music playing. He takes me into his arms and kisses me passionately.

He says, "I want you so bad."

I say, "I want you too, but I am a little nervous because it will be my first time."

Colton says, "Don't worry I will go slow."

I just nod my head and turn red. He has me turn around and then unzips my dress and it falls on the floor. Now I am in nothing but my lacey white panties. I feel so self-conscious and I cover my breasts with my arm.

Colton pulls my arm away and says, "You are so beautiful Everly, please don't hide your body from me."

I then unbutton his shirt and throw it to the floor. Then I undo his belt and undo his pants and they fall to the floor. Colton then picks me up and places me in the center of our bed.
