Zoey listened to her attempt to convince the police it was manslaughter, smiling slightly. Then she asked Poppy, "Was the photo of you and Eris taken on the 15th?"

Poppy looked confused.

She had already admitted it wasn't. It was for an alibi.

"When was it taken?"

Poppy replied, "Around 11 PM on the 14th."

Robert chimed in, "If you hadn't faked an alibi, the police might have considered it manslaughter. But Poppy, do you know what your fake alibi indicates?"

"Premeditated murder," Robert emphasized the words heavily.
