Chapter 90 She and Holland, only one can survive.

Covington's voice was hoarse as he asked, "How can you help me?"

With her body?

Holland could feel his pressure. She gently pushed his body and said, "You let go of me first."

Covington's hand still firmly held her slender waist. He was afraid she would leave.

"I let you go, and then you leave." Covington's tone was slightly.

"I won't leave!" Holland's face turned red. "How could I be that kind of person?"

"Holland, you know what medicine I took and what I need most." He looked at her seriously, his eyes full of implications. Holland found it hard to pretend not to know.

She said with difficulty, "I know, I will help you. But please let go of my hand first."

Covington slowly released his hand as if he believed her. Holland finally breathed a sigh of relief. She took the opportunity to roll off the bed and pulled out a medicine box from under the bed. When the medicine box was opened, a row of cold light needles appeared.

"I can help you expel the heat toxin with acupuncture." She twirled a gold needle and said to Covington seriously.

Covington closed his eyes and said, "Okay."

Holland took off his coat, unbuttoned his shirt, found the acupoint, and inserted a needle. Such invigorating drugs could be resolved as long as they were dispersed. One needle after another.

She asked, "Mr. Covington, how do you feel now?"

Covington slowly opened his eyes and looked at her, saying, "If you don't know acupuncture, how do you plan to save me?"

His gaze was intense.

Holland nervously swallowed. "I... I will take you to the hospital."

"Oh, you'll take me to the hospital." Covington's mouth slightly curled up. "It's embarrassing to go to the hospital for this kind of thing."

"The hospital protects the privacy of patients," Holland explained weakly.

"But those who peek at me don't care about privacy," Covington said.

Holland's eyes dodged and fell on the torn medicine bag on the bed. She recognized it as the box brought back from the countryside. She didn't expect Covington to keep it still. What did he want to do just now?

Holland said nervously, "What you said is not true. I know medical skills and can give you acupuncture."

Covington opened his clothes, looking at her with smiling but not quite. He really couldn't ask her what she really meant.

"Mr. Covington, if you're okay, I'll go back to my room to rest."

After saying this, Holland quickly left. Covington looked at her back with deep eyes.

That night.

The Evans Family had a big fight.

Juniper pointed at Poppy and scolded, "Do you have any shame? What happened tonight? Explain it clearly!"

Juniper had never been so embarrassed. How would he face people in A City in the future? He knew how those people would gossip about the Evans Family. Aurora sat aside with a cold face, comforting Ethan in her arms. She looked at the father and daughter, making a scene. All of this was retribution.

Poppy cried even harder. She choked and said, "I bought that kind of medicine. I originally wanted to put it in Covington and Holland's soup. I wanted them to make a fool of themselves in public, and I wanted Holland to be disgraced!"

"But... but I never thought Maxwell would find out about this. I don't know what means he used to drug me." She covered her face and cried even more sadly.

"I didn't do it willingly! Dad, help me; teach me what to do!" Holland destroyed her life.

Juniper suppressed his anger. His face was gloomy. "I warned you not to mess with Covington! He's not someone we can afford to provoke."

"I can't accept it! He was originally mine, and Holland took everything from me!"

Poppy still felt that Holland owed her. Juniper slapped her, "Wake up, will you?"

Poppy fell to the ground. She lay on the ground and cried loudly.

"You..." Juniper vented for a while and said, "The best solution now is for you to marry Maxwell and unite the two families." He still hoped to salvage some losses.

"No! I don't want to marry him!"

"Poppy, don't you understand? It's not your choice now. It's whether Maxwell wants you or not!" Juniper was very angry at the thought of Maxwell publicly saying he didn't want to marry Poppy.

Maxwell was still picky! Juniper leaned on the chair, panting.

Aurora had seen enough of the excitement and walked to Juniper's side with Ethan. "Honey, look how well-behaved Ethan is."

Ethan was sleeping soundly. He inherited Aurora's beauty, which was fair and clean. "Honey, Poppy didn't mean it. If it really doesn't work out, we'll send her abroad. In a few years, no one will mention this matter."

Aurora used to love Poppy very much, but everything she did was too hurtful. Now, she just wanted to drive Poppy away. Ethan was still young. She kept Ethan by her side, and he could treat her as his birth mother. If she got pregnant in the future, she would find a way to get rid of Ethan. If she didn't get pregnant, she would keep Ethan and build a relationship with him.

In the future, everything in the Evans Family would be hers. She had patience! Juniper looked at Ethan and felt much calmer. The Evans Family still had a boy! He was still young and strong.

In another twenty or thirty years, his son would be able to inherit the family business.

He looked at Aurora with relief and said, "You're right."

Poppy looked at them with hatred and despair. "Dad, are you really going to send me abroad? Aurora, are you going to drive me away with a bastard!"

"Poppy, watch your words! She's your stepmother, and he's your brother!" Juniper made the final decision, "If Maxwell is willing to acknowledge the engagement, then you will marry him. If he doesn't want to, then you will go abroad!"

After saying that, he went upstairs with Aurora and Ethan. He didn't want to look at Poppy anymore. Poppy lay on the ground, crying in despair. How did she end up like this?

Not long ago, she was Ramsey's fiancee from the Drakes Family, admired by many!

Before Holland came, she was the jewel of the Evans Family, flattered wherever she went.

All of this was because of Holland!

Holland was her nemesis, her disaster! They were destined to be archenemies. Only one could survive! Poppy's eyes were bloodshot. All her hatred was poured onto Holland. She almost laughed hysterically.

Suddenly. Her phone received a message. Poppy looked at the message. Instantly, her hands trembled, and her face turned as white as paper.
