Chapter 44: ; Bringing You Back

Matthew saw the uncertainty in Cheska's eyes and drew her closer to his body. "Answer me..." he snarled, clutching her chin.

Cheska coughed briefly before nodding. "It's me... So just let me go," she said as she shook Matthew's hand on her chin.

Matthew, on the other hand, was adamant; he would not let her go. "Your body language indicates that you are withholding something." I can feel it..."

"Matthew, put down your nonsense!" I'm not feeling like playing with you!" Cheska responded angrily. Her expression altered abruptly, her quick anger flashing, and it was too late to hide it. Matthew had already noticed it.

"Why are you still here?" In amazement, Matthew inquired. Cheska's alternative identity remained vigilant for quite some time. When Cheska wakes up, she is usually back to her former self.

"What are you on about?" "My name is Cheska Mcbride!" She swiftly rectified herself, her gaze fixed on Matthew.

“Really? Cheska can't look me in the eyes with the same intensity... "The real Cheska Mcbride can't stand my hold on her," he hissed. "So, tell me, why are you still here?"

This man is a jerk! How can he tell the difference between Leila and me? “Fine! I'm not the genuine Cheska! And I'm not sure why I'm still here! So don't bother asking me!" She pushed him hard after answering Matthew's enquiry.

Matthew let her go, but not completely. "You can't stay... It's too dangerous to expose yourself if you don't have control over your range! What should we do to get you to sleep again?"

Cheska's eyes widened as she couldn't believe what Matthew had said. "Are you insane?" Why would I bother telling you? Why should I push my naive self to wake up if she doesn't want to? It's my turn to have fun!" Cheska turned to depart after declaring her request.

Cheska's alter ego is too wild and out of control for me to let her remain if I can't keep her under control!With this in mind, Matthew grabbed her and flung her into the water.

'Cheska' couldn't swim immediately away due to the surprise, so she sinks. Fortunately, Matthew saved her from drowning.

"Wait, what was that?!?" "Do you intend to murder me?"

Matthew grinned and grabbed Cheska's chin. "I told you you couldn't stay in the outside world, so I'll do anything to bring back the real Cheska!"

'What are you talking about? This dude is insane!Cheska thinks to herself, but the main difficulty she faces is that she doesn't know how to swim! "Don't abandon me! Do you believe everything will return to normal once I drown? No! That is not the way it works!"

"So, you don't know how to swim..." Matthew scoffed and let her leave without warning. Matthew will endanger Cheska's life because he has to attempt everything.

"I can't believe this girl really doesn't know how to swim..." While doing CPR on Cheska, Matthew made a remark. She had been drinking water for many minutes when she coughed and spit it out.

Cheska coughed briefly while gripping her chest. When she had recovered, she fixed her gaze on Matthew. "Do you have hearing or comprehension problems?" I warned you it wouldn't work! "You insane jerk!"

Matthew's excitement faded. "So, dying is out..." he grumbled, ignoring the rage in 'Cheska's gaze. While getting water from the falls, Matthew had another idea.

Meanwhile, 'Cheska' rose up and pulled her hair back from her face. "Will you stop this, Matthew?" My mum is expecting me..." Knowing there was nothing they could do since they were in the falls, 'Cheska' attempted another strategy. She needed Mattthew to swim her back to shore since she didn't know how to swim.

Despite this, Matthew focused his attention on the sea, not on Cheska's comments. So the latter approached and was ready to shove him when he turned around and confronted him.

Cheska's eyes twinkled as a fresh thought entered his thoughts.

Matthew pulled backward, afraid of being hurled back into the water. "Matthew, if you don't stop, I will shut down my humanity and kill you!" she said.

"Permit me to test this theory... If that doesn't work, I'm done..." Matthew makes a serious comment while holding Cheska's shoulder.

'Cheska' couldn't get the feeling that Matthew was up to something bad. "... If it's life-threatening, don't go on, or else I swear to God you'll die!" [Cheska's alter-ego cannot do damage to Matthew...]

Matthew paused for a while before placing his arms around Leila and kissing her on the cheek. The kiss is passionate and seeking... He tries to utilise their connection to awaken Cheska, but instead of the anticipated consequence, something else happens. He expected a quick kiss, but it ended up lasting much longer. Matthew's hands then stroked every curve in her body.

The coolness induced by the weather was little in comparison to the scorching feeling created by each other. “Matthew...” Cheska whimpered as he reached behind her and gently gripped her hand.

"Damn it... I can't seem to stop..." Cheska's ear was buzzing with Matthew's raspy speech. He forgot he couldn't stop himself once he had Cheska in his grasp. And the latter has the same impression... She can't tell him to stop since she enjoys being held in his arms as his tongue plays with her mouth.

"Please don't ever stop..." Cheska growled as she threw her arms around his neck, reacting in like.
