Chapter 62

As anxiety crawled through her tear-swelling eyes, he splashed water on his face until she noticed a mild twitch of his eyelashes. Only then did her heart weight diminish.

He opened his eyes and glimpsed her, wiping her tears before he caught her. The slightest smile peeked on his lips, "You can't hide it."

She made eye contact with him, declaring firmly, "You better leave now."

He sat up quickly, grasped her waist, and twirled to make her on his lap with her back facing him. Leaning further closer to her ear, she felt her heartbeat rising slowly by slowly; his desired breath carried her earlobe, which stirred up her thirst.

He acknowledged her reddish cheek and her feet squeezing moderately to control her emotions. Thereafter, he sent his fingers below her stomach, giving a checking gaze at Elvira.

She bit the corner of her lip; breathing went a bit heavy for her when his fingers braced her lower belly. Furthermore, his steamy breath that was bumping her ear triggered her feelings enormously.

To her surprise, his hand halted right at the belly button.

She turned to him, giving lustful eyes.

"Are you ready for it?" He asked. His voice had held concern, and at the same time, it was more licitly.

Her eyes subtly narrowed at him. Witnessing his admirably glowing eyes approximately, she queried, "Are you ready to kill all your family members for me?"

Leonid forgot to blink, stunned in shock. His breath even stuck.

His lips shivered leadenly, and he swallowed his saliva, flashing a conflict assorted in aghast just when he confirmed that her sentence was a pure demand.

Glancing his regret, Elvira stood up and veered towards the bedroom, leaving Leonid's slightly wrinkled eyes fixed on her.

She stopped before opening the bedroom. Presenting a reasonable glare directly at him, she enunciated, "I don't think they will let us live peacefully. If you want me, you must kill all of them, including Lev."

His jaw dropped, and he couldn't believe her.

"Looking at your stalling, you can't go far this for me. Leave if you don't want me." She carefreely proclaimed and went inside.

Leonid blankly looked at the closed door of her bedroom, uncertain about what to do next.

The next day.

Elvira awakened and came out of the room in her nightdress. She startled and stood right there as soon as she glimpsed Leonid sitting on the sofa with a serious face. But his glare was on the floor randomly.

"Don't you leave yet?" With a goggle eye, she questioned him.

His sight turned to her. "I want a reason. Why do you want their death this badly?" He queried. His serious-looking face expected a positive answer from her.

"Reason? Do you want reason?" Elvira scattered instant frowns.

Leonid was clueless and released a disgruntled sigh.

"I know they treated you badly. But this isn't your character, Elvira. How can you go far this to take revenge?" Leonid switched to concern mode. Desperately, he wanted her to leave that idea.

"Get lost!" She strictly declared. "Get lost if this is your answer."

"Elvira!" He gripped her wrist and stopped her from heading toward the kitchen.

Her sharp eye pierced at him.

Instant regret rented his face. "Why can't we... forgive them this time?" With a dither and horrific face, he requested her.

"How about I go for another man this time?" She sarcastically asked and cuffed at him, arousing tension.

"I had lived a dead life with you despite knowing you have no feelings for me. The one I trust, that pitch, Lev, he cheated on me by sleeping with your mother." As she exposed her inner anger emotionally, Leonid, shocked in surprise, "You know about that?"

Elvira scorched her mad. "Am I looking like a fool to you all?" She outraged.

Leonid shut his mouth right away.

"Even those idiots used me. I won't sit calm without killing any of them." Elvira demanded vehemently.

Leonid stood quiet, observing her nonsupressable anger that was pouring through her vehement-filled eyes.

"You don't have to be my husband if you don't want to share my revenge." She casually proclaimed and permitted him to leave the house.

Whirling out the sigh of frustration, he walked off her and left the house.

Gazing at him, leaving without answering her, her eyes began to secrete tears. When it was about to slip down from the eye corner, she wiped it off with a finger and swallowed back her cry.

The same day, evening.

"Is brother Leonid busy today? Why isn't he here yet?" Austin mumbled, expecting Leonid at the door.

That hit Elvira's ear while she was crushing the coffee nuts. The slightest misery sat on her face. "At least I can work peacefully," she playfully dictated, but only did she know what was disturbing her mind.

"Oh moh!" Austin voiced aghast and squatted down, hiding himself.

"What are you hiding for?" Elvira was confused.

He eyed the doorside.

She shifted her glimpse and found Lev's arrival. She turned her head back to the coffee maker deliberately.

A few minutes later, she was sitting in front of Lev, who looked like she had come for forgiveness. There was no one inside the shop except them. Austin left once after hanging the sign board at the door saying 'Closed.'

"I'm sorry, Elvira. I shouldn't have behaved like that. I'm sorry again." Lev sought for forgiveness.

She looked at his regretting eyes and declared heartlessly, "Keep these words. Don't ever show up at my house."

Lev's face dead. "Huh?"

"It's appropriate to knock on someone's house door late at night, and I love single. You should consider that." Elvira politely toned, but Lev seemed a bit conflicted.

Still, Lev badly wanted to ask her one thing. Hisweresitation-exposing eyes was evident to it. "Can you please tell me why you are mad at me?" He managed to ask this at last after squeezing his mind hard.

Elvira looked away and sighed.

"Elvira, I can't endure the ache while you are avoiding me like this." He frankly disclosed with pitiful eyes.

She butted her lower lip inwardly, irritated. "Why do you want to know about that? Do you think you can change yourself for me?" She glazed ruthless.

"Yes! I can do everything for you." He concured right away.

"Then kill your brother and sister!" She demanded with outrage.

Lev shocked in aghast.
