Chapter 59

After finishing drinking, he approached the counter. Lamentably, there were no customers who showed up. She stayed in the counter section without choice.

Just with a brief glimpse, Lev scared Austin.

"I think we're running out of coffee cups," he dictated, browsing for the coffee cup. Despite having a lot of cups, he quickly excused himself and rushed out of the shop, leaving Elvira to handle him alone.

"Aish! This bitch!" Elvira scolded in a low tone, biting her teeth. She cautiously eschewed his intensive gaze.

"Look up at me, please." He requested.

Taking a deep breath, she riveted her eyes on him.

"I'm sorry. I won't be like that anymore. Please talk to me," he pleaded pitifully.

"This is-" she opened her mouth to dodge him, giving a reason.

"There is no one here," he shortly replied, causing her to shut her mouth.

She ended up releasing a sigh. Cause she couldn't turn a blind eye to his begging face.

"What exactly do you want me to do for your sin?" Elvira forced herself to question him furiously.

Lev swithered obscurely, soon hearing 'sin.'

"Nothing," he concluded the conversation. "Thanks for the coffee," he disclosed his appreciation and walked off the shop desperately as Elvira flashed a wretch at him.

In the evening, when the orange-omitting sun was about to fade, Leonid noticed Elvira leaving the coffee shop.

"Why is she leaving early today?" He asked himself. There was a hint of conflict on his face.

He followed her all the way until she reached the restaurant. His conflict turned into instant fierceness as soon as he captured her waving to a man who was sitting at one of the tables.

"Blind date?" He subtly narrowed at that normal-looking man.

"Nice to meet you," Elvira greeted him with a broad smile. Skipping delay, he hurried to that table and slapped on that man's hand.

"Ouch!" That man hissed and gave a confused look at Leonid.

"Who are you?" Both Elvira and that man asked.

"You don't know him either?" That man was slightly baffled.

"I'm her husband. Can you please look for another woman?" Leonid politely informed him, causing Elvira to be exasperated.

"Are you a married woman?" That man queried.

"No! He seems mentally ill. That's why he is roaming around blabbering something like this." She confidently diverted him. "Waiter! Check on this man. He seems abnormal," she ordered the waitress, giving a disgusted look at Leonid, who blinked her eyes in shock, regretting what he said earlier.

"No! He didn't look like a homeless person." That man proposed his opinion by observing well-dressed and perfect body features.

Leonid scoffed, acknowledging he was being roasted by them.

"Waitress!" Elvira shouted.

The waiter appeared there right away and dragged Leonid outside forcefully as Leonid tried to explain his identity.

Looking at him, trying to make them understand desperately, a leaden chuckle peeked at Elvira's lips.

"Elvira!! Tell them." Leonid screamed, figuring out the waitress didn't understand him.

"Let's talk about business, madam." That man brought her attention.

She switched her facial reaction to the professional one and gave the information about the coffee shop.

Leonid was intensively watching them through the transparent glass door. The sky moderately turned into dark, and shining lights tingled his eyes.

At last, the conversation concluded. That man came out first.

That man stretched a business card saying, "Contact me if you're interested in modeling." Leaning further closer to his ear, he whispered, "You can be rich, man!" He laughed wildly himself and left.

Thereafter, Elvira came out. She walked past him as if he were invisible.

He followed her. "How long are you going to avoid me?" He shouted at her, throwing the card aside.

"Until my last breath!" She carefreely declared that.

"Then do it by marrying me." He demanded this without even thinking straight.

She stopped suddenly and veered around him furiously.

He laid back right away, shutting his mouth and blinking innocently in front of her.

"I prefer Pshyco over Cheater!" She pressurised her assertiveness.

"I'm not a cheater. My brother is." Leonid tried to enunciate the truth.

"Both are cheaters. I will cut off of yours if you come closer to me." She warned him.

Fright seated his face. Quickly, he joined his legs together, covering his private area.

He then quietly followed her.

She reached the coffee shop. "He said it would cost much. But I bargained, so he offered a discount for me." She handed Austin the file.

"That's why you are my lucky charm," he complimented her. That was more like a flirt.

"Whatever!" She continued to work.

It was the time when Austin glimpsed Leonid, giving a death stare by standing at the door. He startled and fluttered. His legs stumbled, not knowing where to go now.

He immediately took back what he said, "I meant the coffee shop's lucky charm. Not mine. Not mine. Do you hear sister?"

Leonid threatened him, giving the sign that he would pluck out both of his eyes.

The clock ticked at 8:00 pm. Elvira changed into her normal outfit and came out.

"Dinner is on me!" Leonid blocked her.

"Let me join you then," Lev's voice came from behind him.

"I'm tired," she knocked them down effortlessly and walked past them.

Austin grinned at them quietly and was also cautious about not getting into their sight.

Elvira walked along the sidewalk and was about to cross the road.

Laura and her husband were spying on her from far away. Lowering down the spyglass, she voiced, irritated, "Why are they always sticking to her?"

Her husband spotted Lev and Leonid following behind her, checking the roadway cautiously.

"They probably knew about us." Her husband dictated.

"They are stressing me out!" Laura scowled herself.

Just when they were about to cross the restaurant, Leonid instantly pushed Elvira all the way inside the restaurant before he received a refusal from her.

Lev also adjoined them.

Browsing for the empty seat, Leonid grip shifted to her wrist, and when Elvira opened her mouth to scold him, he dragged her to the empty table. "Let's sit there!"

He forcefully made her sit in the seat, and he sat next to her before she stood up.

"What the hell are you doing?" She yelled but failed to notice the crowd people's side eyes were on them.

"Shh!!!" Lev hissed and hunted her to glimpse the people's judgement glare, which were waiting for her apology.

She lowered her eye and apologised to them, flashing an embarrassed smile, "Sorry, sorry."

Without having choice, she sighed and accepted their offer.

Leonid sat straight, feeling proud, and also made Lev envy him.

"How is he so confident?" Lev questioned himself. He badly wanted to sit close with Elvira like Leonid.
