Chapter 16

I entered and found Jai running down the stair.

"I literally don't know how I forgot about it!!!" Jai said.

"I did too!" I said.

"Can someone please help?" Shawn said holding two boxes in his hands.

"sorry, I forgot about it" I said as I spread my hands to take them, but Austin appeared and took them from Shawn.

"Thanks dude" Shawn said.

"Hey Amanda" I said as she hugged me.

"Hi baby girl! Aw look at the belly!" She said with a smile.

"Hey everyone, I'm sorry but I'm just tired and now we have guests" I said.

"Sit Down, relax everything is on us" Laura said.

"The food is ready, dessert is ready, the house is clean, and the table is ready so nothing to worry about and mom made some kinds of juices and salad and also she made sweet potatoes and some appetizers" Laura said.

"Thanks Amanda I owe you" I said.

"It's nothing darling, the most important thing is you rest" She said.

"Jai when are they coming?" Nate asked as he wrapped an arm around Laura.

"idk maybe 15 minutes or so" he said.

Shawn sat beside me and pulled me to him.

"I feel sick" I whispered.

"Told you kayaking was a bad idea" Shawn said as he played with my hair.

"I think I might throw up" I said.

"Shhh, just close your eyes and don't think about it" Shawn said placing a kiss to my forehead.

I closed my eyes for ten minutes before I felt someone kissing the top of my head.

I opened my eyes and found dad.

"Hey dad" I said.

"How are you?" He asked.

"Just feeling a bit sick" I said.

"Dad, me and Laura will be staying with Lia from tomorrow" Nate said.

"Since when?" I asked.

"I talked to them" Shawn said.

"You guys do whatever you want, I'm not up for talking and arguing" I said.

The bell rang and everyone stood up.

"Ava! Come down!" I yelled as she and max came down.

Dad went to open the door as everyone else stood in the living room.

"Hello everyone" Ana's dad said as they entered the living room.

Everyone said their hellos as I took a step to the front.

"Hi, I'm Amelia, Jai's sister" I said as I shook hands with her father.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Juan" he said.

"Hi ana" I said as we hugged.

"Dad this is my friend, Jai" Ana said.

"Hello young boy" Juan said as they shook hands and I chuckled.

"Nice to meet you sir" Jai said as he was nervous.

After everyone introduced themselves.

We sat down on the living room, dad and Juan started talking immediately about their work.

"You guys never told me Shawn will be here" Anna said as she sat between me and Laura.

"just know that any place Lia is in, Shawn would be there" Laura said.

After having dinner & desserts and getting to know Anna and her sweet father..

"Baby should we leave?" Shawn asked.

"Yeah lets go" I said.

"You guys going?" Dad asked as we nodded.

I hugged everyone.

"come here son" dad said as he hugged Shawn.

"You guys take care of my girl and my baby" Shawn said.

"Don't worry, she's under good eyes, but you should take care of yourself for your family" dad said.

"Don't worry Liam" Shawn said.

Shawn said goodbye to my family and Amanda.

"Nate and Laur.. oh, I'll see you tomorrow at the airport," Shawn said.

"Shawn where will you go?" Max asked.

"I'm going to Amsterdam" Shawn said "another country".

"Don't go" Max said.

"Aw buddy I'll see you soon" Shawn said kissing his cheeks.

"Bye guys! I love you, take care of yourselves" Shawn said.

Me and Shawn got in the car, and he intertwined our hands together.

"I'll miss this" he said as I gave him a sad smile.

the drive to our apartment was silent and both of us didn't talk because both of us were sad that he won't be here tomorrow on the bed.

I changed into sweatpants and a hoodie and laid on bed.

Shawn closed the lights and laid on the other side of the bed.

tears fell as I cried silently before sleeping.
