Chapter 25

Victoria's phone rang through and she was hesitant and very reluctant to pick the call because she felt like the person that was calling her was actually trying to cut her celebrations short. She checked the caller ID and found out it was Jenn and her joy knew no bounds because she couldn't wait to console her and have Jenn all to herself.

"Hello, Vick." Jenn sounded very down and worried about the whole incident.

"Oh my dear, I was just about to call you, I've seen everything that happened, how Kevin was assassinated near his company facility and it sent direct goosebumps to me because I understand that you would be going through a lot now my love, do accept my most sincere condolences because I feel bad and understand your pains right now but the thing is death is very inevitable because it can come at any time of our lives," Victoria said happily consoling Jenn who now took that a full evidence that Victoria was the one behind it.

"Thank you for the kind words Vick but I called you for a different thing though." Jenn said as Victoria got a bit confused because she couldn't understand any other reason while Jenn would call her if not to announce the sudden death of her husband Kevin.

"You are always welcomed to share whatever you want me to know or talk with you about because you can confide in me truly as a friend, sister and love because I'm here for you." Victoria assured Jenn on the phone.

"Thank you Victoria for being an amazing personality in my life, the thing is that Kevin is dead but one of his drivers who was with the car during the time was shot dead in what looked like an assassination attack," Jenn explained in a way that rather made Victoria want to choke with anger and rage. She didn't want to believe that it was a huge mistake and Kevin was not dead as she was told and made to believe.

After the events of the last time, Jenn had decided to be very careful too. She had decided she was going to look for a peaceful house on the outskirts of the city and only retire to that place at night. Kevin had been a shadow of himself since the attempted assassination that almost cost him his life, it took a whole lotta rehabilitation and therapy for him to get away from it. Victoria had been so mad at the incident that she went back to Spencer's secret abode ranting at them.

"Where's that idiot called Spencer, you think you can just eat my money without delivering the job I asked you to perfectly? Well, you must refund my money or watch me hot you real hard." Victoria kept ranting hard until she saw Spencer come outside with a big silencer rifle in hand ready to kill her.

"Woman, you do not come to my abode to rant nonsense about whatever concerns you, you can leave now or watch me blow off your thick skull bitch." Spencer blurted out angrily and Victoria was forced to run off from the place because she knew that Spencer could do anything to her there.

"You'll pay for it you scum, I'm going but await my return because it would be very hard on you," Victoria said coldly and sinisterly as she ran into her car and drove off. Victoria was so pained on while Kevin was still alive and how Spencer and his useless boys thought that they could just trick her and eat her money without paying or executing the simple task that she gave them.

Jenn had not even told anyone about her secret mansion not even Kevin because she didn't trust anyone again especially looking at the way things were going recently. She had decided to be more reserved and ever so that she doesn't fall prey to the wickedness and trap of anyone that could cost her something great especially her life. Jenn had decided that she was going to do her things discreetly and secretly because no one was to be trusted again.

Jenn had decided to stay off anything that concerned Victoria since she had enough evidence already to nail her down. She knew that Victoria was a very powerful woman who couldn't be cajoled or intimidated without her fighting back. She had actually decided to publish the documents and evidence that would help nail Victoria down and she actually wanted it done through an anonymous website that wouldn't be very easy to track by another software. She was going to do it through a dark web and get Victoria nailed in the prison or better still sentenced to death for all the atrocities she had committed.

"I'm going to need just three of my most trusted technologists to carry out this task with me in a clean way that won't be traced easily by anyone. Victoria can not keep hurting people and getting away with it. Well, it's her time to go down." Jenn said meanly with a crude smile because she knew that Victoria was definitely going to go down that time.

Victoria had been at the mall that day when she decided to go through the internet and she saw one of her murderous videos although her face wasn't showed clearly but she knew that she was the one, she was filled anger, rage and animosity towards the person that must have done that to her. She was so angry that she began to call the tech guys she knew to help take down those videos and apprehend the culprits behind it.

"Hello, I'm speaking with J&J Tech Enterprise, right.." Victoria asked over the phone line because she wanted to be sure that it was the company that she had called.

"Yes ma'am, it's a pleasure to have you." The agent said over the phone.

"Save you greetings and pleasantries all to yourself till when the task I'm about to give you is done. Also make sure you execute very well because I don't appreciate nonsense." Victoria said meanly and impatiently because she knew that she didn't have the whole time in the whole world to negotiate.

"Okay ma'am, what's it that you want us to do." The agent asked politely.
