Chapter 22

Finally, Helen and Dennis left the boutique and went to a nice fancy restaurant. Dennis took her to a place she had never been or thought of going to before. They spent quality time together. Dennis, "What would you like to eat?" Helen, " I don't really know but whatever you order I will order." Helen doesn't normally eat outside so she's into local foods. Dennis took Spanish spaghetti with some order chops. Helen ordered the same. Dennis knew what he was doing. The Spanish spaghetti is normally served hot and spicy.

Dennis was used to it. Helen initially was scared of eating the Spanish spaghetti because she said it didn't look mouth-watering. Dennis was pleased with her to try it which is his second favorite delicacy. After so many attempts. She tried it and it was actually good but the third bite she took made her cry for water. Dennis, " I knew this was coming" Dennis stood up and took a bottle of chilled water and gave her to drink. It calmed her down a little bit.

The colors of the lights changed from white to beautiful colors. Helen wondered why the lights changed color. Helen, "Excuse me for a minute let me use the ladies ' room." Dennis, "Alright dear I will be waiting for you right here". Helen, "Okay but do you know where the restroom is?" Dennis, "Just take your right after where that waiter is standing." it was already getting late, so Dennis drop Helen at the door post of her house. The talked little bit. Dennis zoomed off. He was proud of himself and couldn't wait to give the news to his mom. Just got home. Rushed upstairs like a child who just got a straight A in his class. He almost fail down as he climb up the stairs. Dennis mom has already fell asleep. Dennis, "let me not disturb her I will tell her first thing tomorrow morning".

Dennis went downstairs to call his soon-to-be wife but her phone was sweet off. Helen spent her entry night thinking about Dennis and what happened today she didn't say a word other than smile even while sleeping. Helen, "Mom has been gone for a while so she just came from her travel but she wasn't going to stay long that may be only two days because she had some farmers she had to supply some farm products. I woke up doing my normal house chores. The way Dennis proposed to me kept on replaying in my mind like a movie disk that was but on replay.

Mom was knocking on the door, so I opened and welcomed her. Mom, please get me a cup of water am so tired. Helen, okay Mom. I rushed to the refrigerator and got her a cup of water.
