Chapter 335: Epilogue
I pull Liam into my room and close the door behind me. I can feel my sister's knowing looks behind me and decide I don't need to explain anything tonight.
As much as I love my family, I really want to just be with Liam right now. I'm sure everyone is tired. Liam isn't the only one who spent days looking for me.
Poor Rick missed the first few days with his wife and baby searching for me. And Trent was supposed to be on his honeymoon with my sister. Both of those things, they assured me were not as important as bringing me home.
I think they can all go get some well-deserved rest. I just want to spend some quite time with Liam. I want to show him exactly how he makes me feel.
And by the way Liam is attacking my lips right now, I think he wants the same. He runs his fingers through my dark hair, nuzzling my face before placing sloppy kisses along my neck.
"You found me," I sigh, running my hands up his back. Feeling his heat pressing into me. "I'm so happy you found me!" I almost sob in relief. "I was so scared," I mumble before kissing down his jaw.
"I'm missed you so much," he mumbles, moving his lips to devour mine. I don't think I've ever been kissed this heatedly, and it's making me dizzy. "God, I was so worried about you."
"I missed you too," I admit, wrapping my arms around Liam's neck, pulling him closer to me. "I didn't know if I'd ever see you again. But I refused to let him touch me! I only wanted you."
"I was never going to stop looking for you. I was always coming to find you," he moans, placing sweet kisses across my face. "Now that I've got you back, I'm never letting you out of my sight again!"
I giggle. "You sound just like Rick and Trent," I tease. I remember both of them going through the same thing when they got my sisters back. Neither of them gave up on my sisters either. I guess that makes Liam an official part of the family now!
"Yeah, well, I know exactly how they feel right now!" He admits pulling back from me, only to look search my face. "Liv, this has been the scariest thing that has ever happened to me," he confesses. "I didn't know what I was going to do if I couldn't find you," he swallows thickly. "I can't even imagine a life without you in it!"
I smile up at him. "You are my white knight, coming to save his princess," I smirk. "And now we can live happily ever after, just like in the fairytales."
His eyes shine in amusement. "I think I like the sound of that!" he teases before he makes a surprise move and lifts me up into his arms bridal style and carries me over to my bed and lays me down gently.
"I love you, Olivia," he whispers sliding in next to me. "I've loved you for so long, and now I'm going to spend the rest of my life proving it to you."
"Good. Because I love you too. I should've been yours from the very beginning," I declare.
And once again, Liams lips are on mine. I pull him down onto me, needing to be as close to him as possible. His hands are all over my body, exploring me like it's his life's goal to memorize my shape.
We don't have sex. After all, I'm only 18, and I'm not ready to be a mom yet. Liam isn't pushing for anything, just kissing me and telling me how much he loves me. (He's nothing like- I push that thought away.) Tonight, I'm only going to focus on my hero.
And really, I don't think Liam is ready for that yet either. He just wants to touch me and hold me, and I'm more than okay with that! We are in no rush to be anything more than two teenagers in love, going through the motions until high school ends... And I guess at some point I'll have to figure out college and stuff like that. But not tonight.
I'm more than content to be an auntie and play with my little niece and... whatever it is Charlie is having. Boy or girl, I'll love it the same!
Someday, I'll be ready, and it might not be until after Liam proposes and he takes me on our wedding night. I actually think that is so romantic! He would show me how much he loves me by waiting for me to be ready.
But that can wait for a while. I'm going to enjoy being in high school. And I know this is nowhere near my happy ending. That's when I'm old and gray, sitting in an old rocking chair beside my husband, watching our grandchildren play out in the yard, and reminisce about our younger years.
Someday my knight in shining armor will marry me. We can ride off into the sunset, and we'll start our own little happily ever after.
But right now, I'm just happy to be exactly where I am.
Surrounded by a family that loves me, and the boy who stole my heart so long ago.
