Chapter 333 Home
Chapter 333 Home
To say I was overwhelmed the second I stepped into the house is an understatement. I was not expecting to see so many people to see me!
My heart was so full, and my eyes started to water. I've never seen this kind of support in my life. Cheers went up throughout the hallway, all of them beaming at me.
I didn't realize how much I missed just being home. And this is my home. Every person in this room is family to me... And until now I hadn't even known it.
Half my school was there. Friends and neighbors. Even a few of the officers showed up! I'm glad because I didn't get a chance to thank them properly earlier.
Kimmy and Court ran to me first. They wrapped their arms around me and started crying immediately. I missed this. I missed their warmth and affection. And just being with them!
"We missed you so much! We were so worried about you! And that bitch was walking around the school like she owned it!" Court sobbed into my shoulder.
"She acted like she was the fucking queen of the word! She was so smug about it. She thought she was getting her wish fulfilled!" Kimmy hiccups.
"I missed you guys too," I choked out sobbing into my besties.
They finally pull away and let Hailey pull me into a hug. "Olivia, I was so worried, dear! Your whole family has been stressed. We didn't even know where to start looking for you," she whispered placing a soft kiss on my cheek. "I'm so glad you're back."
I was surprised even some of my school teachers came and gave me hugs and told me they had been praying for me. I didn't know they were allowed to do that, but I guess this is a community thing and not a school thing so...
Next up came Rick's security team, surrounding me with hugs and sorrow. Sean looked so upset.
"Liv, I'm so damn sorry! I didn't know... I'd been knocked out and by the time Rick was calling looking for answers I was barely conscious..." he rushes to explain.
"I don't blame you, Sean. Whoever Logan Davis had with him, they were professionals. You were alone that night. No one thought this was going to happen. And you're still here, so that has to count for something," I smile.
Brent and Grant also came up to give me hugs. "We were so worried about you, kiddo. Don't ever do this to us again," Grant teased, but I could also tell he was one hundred percent serious.
"I'm so glad you're home safe, Olivia," Brent said.
The security team all treats me like their little sister. I used to resent it, but now it feels nice. They are all part of the family.
I was even more surprised when their wives came up and gave me a hug. "Olivia! You have no idea how worried everyone has been!" Lydia sighed into my shoulder.
"Everyone knew who took you, we just couldn't find you," Rose added. "The guys had been searching everywhere!"
"They had searched the Davis and Taylor houses, but no one thought to look on the other side of town," Ellie grumbled in frustration.
These women are amazing! And they put up with their husbands spending most of their time keeping me safe. I will never forget that!
Finally, my sisters come up to me. Josie carrying sweet baby Sophie. Rick and Trent right behind them, but giving them their space.
"Liv!" They shout throwing their arms around me and sobbing into a group hug.
"I told you that bastard was trouble," Josie mumbles. "The first time he was here I told you to ditch him and you didn't!" she sniffles.
I chuckle in a self-deprecating manner because she did. The first time he showed up to the house he was a bastard to her, and she told me right in front of him to ditch him. I should've listened.
