Chapter 140: Hansel 10

Hansel

Gretal was beautiful, but every time I saw her, whether she was sitting talking to the others, or just in passing, her beauty was like a knife to the heart. She was mine and I couldn't have her. Not because she didn't want to be mine, but because she had a job to do.

Someone was killing the working girls who had been freed from a life of sexual enslavement. Which meant she was firmly on that killer's radar. Someone had already tried to hurt her. This time, they hadn’t succeeded but she was still in danger.

Having her close to me might make me feel better, but it would probably put her in even more danger. And there was the little fact that Fang and Gio suspected me. And I couldn't be one hundred percent sure Gretal didn't have those same suspicions.

So all I could do was sit and watch her from afar, my jaw clenched so tight that I was sure I was wearing my teeth down every time I saw her with Gio.

Make believe or not, every time she touched him I wanted to break my fist against his smug self-satisfied face.

Settling myself back against the wall, I studied their interaction. They weren't exactly all over each other but his arm over her shoulder was proprietary. And it made me so angry I wanted to rip my own face off. He had no right to touch her like that. To claim ownership of what belonged to me.

“You look like you are ready to do real violence.”

I recognised The Judge's voice but I didn't turn to him. What he said didn't even scratch the surface of what I wanted to do. But as the Judge worked for Gio, it was best if I kept my mouth shut. The Judge was a friend to the Savage Sons but his loyalty was with Gio and The Family.

Instead, I shrugged, hoping beyond hope that it would seem like I wasn't interested at all that my wife’s leg was over Gio’s lap or that he was massaging her thigh through the thick denim of her jeans.

In answer The Judge laughed, great big belly laughs that drew attention to us. Gretal's eyes flicked up in my direction. A small hesitant smile crossed her face as she arched an eyebrow in my direction.

“I don't think it will last.” The Judge carried on talking, paying no attention at all to the fact that people had glanced in our direction. “It will fizzle out, Gio likes... Well he hasn't got a thing for strong women. He likes them to need him, someone like…”

My head whipped around. “Someone like Keeley?” He didn’t need to say anything. I already knew the answer. I had seen the way the head of The Family had been around Monster's young cousin. The predatory way he had looked at her. Gio hadn't just liked Keeley, he had been half obsessed with her. And yet he was all over my wife.

It didn't make any sense.

Not that I would ever let someone like Gio anywhere near a girl as sweet and innocent as Keeley.

“I just don't understand why he is here,” I finally managed to say through my gritted teeth, “slumming it with us? Doesn't he have some fancy penthouse somewhere to lord over.”

I could feel The Judge's eyes on me, studying me silently.

“I'm sure he will be going home soon. Gretal wanted to be here so here they are.” His eyes narrowed into slits. “Why do I have a feeling that you are the reason she wants to be here, Hansel?” Cocking his head to the side, his smile faded. “Something you want to tell me?”

“Not particularly.” Turning away from him, I locked eyes with Gretal again. Just in time to see Gio’s well manicured hands tilt her chin towards him. He caught her lips and for a second her eyes widened in surprise at his kiss. But she didn't pull away. She didn't slap his face and tell him to stop.

There was no passion in the kiss she gave him but she did kiss him back.

And it broke me. Something snapped inside of me.

It was one thing, doing what she had to do for her job but I never expected in a million years that she would kiss another man in front of me. And I sure as hell didn't expect it to hurt as much as it did. We had been separated for a long time. There had been other people for the both of us. It was just…

“I don't think she is here for me, do you?” I chin jutted towards them and The Judge followed my gaze, his face twisted in a grimace.

“Hmm, maybe not.”

The Judge was too clever for his own good.

“I'm gonna call it a night.” Pushing myself up from the wall, I straightened, faking a yawn. There would be no sleep for me tonight or any other night that Gretal was there with Gio, but I couldn't stand to be in the same room as them a moment longer,

Tomorrow I would ask Fang to send me on a run or ask to leave. I was only sticking around to make sure she was safe, but tonight’s make out session proved to me how much Gretal didn’t need me.

“Hansel?” Gretal's voice was small, barely a whisper as she came trotting down the hallway after me. She moved slowly, stiff from her injuries.

And I was torn on what to do. I hesitated for just a second before turning to her with a groan.

“I just wanted you to know that…”

I moved without thinking, my big hand curling around her slender throat as I pushed her against one of the closed doors that lined the wall. Her back made the smallest of thumps as she connected to it. Her eyes widened as she lifted them to meet mine in fear.

Fear and something else. Something that caused her breath to part her lips.

“I don't want to hear your excuses as to why you let that asshole kiss you, Gretal.” My fingers squeezed for a second, limiting her ability to breathe. “Are you sharing his bed tonight?” I didn't want to know the answer but at the same time I did. Desperately.

“A room, yes, to keep up appearances but nothing is going to happen, Hansel. You said you understood…”

My eyebrows slammed down. “Understood?” I seethed. “The only thing I understand is that I watched you kiss someone who wasn't me tonight. I've been watching you touch him and him touch you since you got here. And I can't fucking stand it.” Shaking my head, I lowered my face to hers. “Do you not know what you are doing to me, Gretal, or is it the fact that you just don’t fucking care?”

“I care.” Her whispered voice was like velvet against my cheek. “You know I care, Hansel, it’s just…”

“It's just what?” With a snarl, I popped the button of her jeans, loosening them around her waist as my fingers skimmed her smooth stomach. “That you’re willing to sleep with a man in front of me to do your job?” My hand shot downwards, rubbing against her mound whilst I trapped her against the door. And still she didn't fight against my grip on her.

“Hansel.” Her breathy whimper went straight to my cock as I pressed two fingers against her clit.

“Who do you belong to?” Not waiting for an answer, I moved her panties to the side, plunging two fingers into her. “Who does this pussy belong to, Gretal? Who do you belong to?”

Her breathing was becoming erratic her fingernails scratching at the door as I fucked her with my fingers. I wanted it to be my cock inside of her, desperately. But I wanted her to admit she was mine more.

“Answer me, Gretal,” I growled out.

“You.” Her voice was nothing but a whimper.

Her body moved against my hand, rubbing her mound against the heel of my hand as I flicked my fingers inside of her.

I knew what Gretal liked, I knew how to get her off. I always had.

“Who owns you, Gretal? Your heart, your mind, your fucking orgasms?”

“You, please, Hansel.” She was losing control and I loved it.

I increased my pace, holding her firm. It was a dangerous game we were playing, but that just added to the excitement. If we were caught then the game was over.

I knew she was going to cum before her moans started. Her core clenched around me, tightening around my fingers. Slanting my lips over hers I swallowed down the sounds she made. And they were everything. After years of being apart, she was finally succumbing to me again. And it was everything I had wanted and more, and yet not nearly enough.

Stepping away, I slipped my hand from her panties. Not taking my eyes away from her, I sucked those two glistening fingers into my mouth, lapping up her juices.

“You're mine, Gretal. Remember that when you share another man's bed tonight.”
