Chapter 157: Chapter one-hundred and fifty-seven

"Hey. Where is the last mother In town?" Chelsea announced, while entering the room.

Eliana looked up at her and smiled. She was breastfeeding her baby when Chelsea walked in.

Her breast milk started to come early. Unlike when she had Amelia. Her breast milk did not come until the next day.

"Oh sweet. You look good already. Didn't you just have a virginal delivery moments ago?" Chelsea teased, putting her hands on her waist.

Eliana chuckled. "I think I did. From the feeling I still have down there, then I definitely did." She added.

"Oh poor thing." Chelsea said and walked to her with open arms. She gave Eliana a hug and then kissed her forehead. "You will get better soon. Congratulations." She added.

"Thank you." Eliana said, returning the hug with her free hand. "Want to hold him?" She asked.

"Of course! Here, I will burp him for you." Chelsea said, excitedly. "Where is the new daddy?" She asked while picking up the baby from Eliana.

"Jace went to shower and outfit. Then he will bring Amelia with him." Eliana explained.

Chelsea was so busy in awe of the baby that she did not pay attention to what Eliana said.

"Ohhh. He is so cute." Chelsea said in awe. She looked at him intently. "I think this one is Jace." She added after studying him.

Eliana chuckled. "Yes. No doubt." She said, "Same eyes and everything." She added while laying her head back on the bed and closed her eyes.

"We decided to name him, Liam." Eliana said with her eyes still closed.

"Liam." Chelsea repeated. She then looked at the baby again. "The name is beautiful and it fits him perfectly."

Eliana smiled. "Yes it does." She confirms. She then turns her attention to Chelsea and asks. "How are your girls? Why did you not come with them?"

"Haha. What!? Noway! I left them with their babysitter. They are going to make me go crazy in this hospital if I try that. They will definitely fight over who would pick the baby up and then probably drop him. So no thank you." Chelsea explained.

Eliana blinked her eyes multiple times before laughing as hard as her fragile self could. "You are exaggerating. They are little cute innocent girls." She said, waving it off.

"Oh trust me. I am not." Chelsea said."they can do worse."

Eliana chuckled.

"Jayden says hi to the baby. He will be here soon. He was at the office when Jace called him with the good news." Chelsea reported.

"Awwn. He didn't have to. We will be home by tomorrow." Eliana said.

"Of course he has to. Jace is his longtime friend." Chelsea reasoned. She set down the baby on his crib and then sat on a chair close to Eliana's bed. "Jenny wishes she could be here." Chelsea added with a smile.

"Yeah. She called me on video call like ten times already." Eliana said. "She just wanted to see his face."

Jenny had a meeting she had to attend in another city. She has been there for two days now. She will be there for a week.

"Awwn. I understand the feeling. When you called me, I was in the kitchen. I had to leave everything for the nanny to continue. I felt the ride from the hotel to this hospital was slow." Chelsea explained.

Jace and Jayden arrived almost at the same time. They met at the parking lot and walked in together.

Amelia was so excited to meet her baby brother, Liam. She came with her favorite teddy, saying she brought it for him.

The next day, Eliana and baby Liam were discharged In the afternoon. They were monitored for 24 hours. When the hospital made sure the mother and baby were in good health and safe to go, they were discharged.

They employed another nanny. Jace said Eliana would need more help so that she could get enough rest.

A few days have passed since Eliana came home with her newborn. She couldn't be more happy with all the care and attention she was receiving. Not only from her husband, but also her friend, Chelsea and Zia of course. Amelia was also doing her best she could in helping. She claimed she is a big girl now and would be doing big girl's chores.

Jace and Eliana were about to go to bed when Jace brought up a discussion.

"What do you mean by this place is too small for us all?" Eliana asked with a grimace face. She was in a lying position but sat up at Jace's complaint. "Hubby, I think we fit in perfectly."

"Wifey. We have another nanny in the house and also a newborn. That makes two extra people living in this apartment." Jace tries to reason. He is sitting on the other side of the bed.

Eliana moved closer to her husband and leaned on his chest. Jace leaned back on the board to get more comfortable. He caressed her hair as they continued with their discussion.

"There are four bedrooms and one is still not occupied." Eliana pointed out. True to her words she doesn't see anything wrong with the way they are leaving. Sometimes, she feels the penthouse Is too big for her. Especially when Jace leaves for work. Amelia leaves for school. The housekeepers leave, after they are done with their chores and leave. She feels so tiny in the penthouse. Since she has not gone back to school yet after her delivery.

"I just..." Jace let out a breath. "I just feel suffocated here sometimes." Jace said with a raised shoulder.

Eliana looked at her husband with mouth agape. She wondered where he was going with all these. "Ok. Fine. Let's assume it is in fact small, how do you intend to make it bigger?" Eliana asked with a raised eyebrow. as if Jace could see her facial expression.

"Haha. How cute of you to think that." Jace said, pulling on Eliana's chin. " No. Not that but we are doing something more practical." He pecked her lips.

Eliana sneered before asking further. "What are you saying, hubby?" Eliana had her thoughts, especially with the way Jace's face turned to a mischievous one.

'Oh dear lord. Why do I feel I will not like the Idea that is creeping into my husband's head?'

Eliana thought to herself.

"We should move to a bigger house. Our family is now growing." Jace finally said, looking into Eliana's eyes expectantly. He caressed her hand and gave her puppy dog eyes. All he wants now is her approval and it will be done.

"Think about it. We would have more privacy. Amelia will have her own room. Same thing with Liam and then a playroom for the kids. Maybe a swimming pool too. And gardens. You would like that, right?" Jace continued especially when he noticed Eliana was in a deep thought about it.

"The kitchen would be to your very own taste. Wifey, I am sure you are going to love that." Jace added.

Eliana looked at him when he made mention of the kitchen. She lived that idea because a smile escaped her lips. 'That would give me more space and lighting for my work.' Eliana thought silently.

"What do you say, love?" Jace asked again.

Eliana let out a breath. "I – I think it is a good idea. Let's do it." Eliana said with a smile.
