Chapter 28: Mission Reputation!

**28. Mission Reputation!**

“A poet!?”

Ceasar scorn ridiculously, his rich arrogant chuckles ego in the car as he mocks me in his aristocratic voice, “Is that a job? Do you even get paid for it?”

“Well I don’t work for money, I work for passion.” I pull out a forceful smile with just twenty dollars in my bank account.

“Only a broke would say that.” Ceasar scoffs in a deeper voice, almost laughing at me. *This rich monkey!*

“Money doesn’t define success, it is just a green paper in front of art.” I retort defensively. My broke ass is quacking with pride as I bring out the hidden artist on the table.

“Money is not god, but it is not less than god, wifey. Do not underestimate the value of capital, it is not just luxury but ultimate power in your hands.” His eyes blaze with flames as his words become more assertive.

People with lots of money are the most little-minded humans I have ever met. They only see the world with their green glasses while the world is blended beautifully in mystic colors.

“Money gains power and power gains respect." Ceasar ends with a winning smirk.

“You know right, people respect the money, not the person.” I remind him of the harsh reality of society and smile saying, “Money doesn’t get you everything.”

Ceasar nods his head in agreement while saying, “You know my dad always tells me; Money is not everything in life, son. But make sure you earn a lot before spitting such nonsense.”

*I can’t believe this DickWaffle!*

I roll my eyes and sigh frustratingly, “Fine, I agree with you but not everyone has a price and not everything is buyable, Mr. Billionaire.”

A sinful smirk appears on Ceasar’s face, “Trust me, love, everything is.” He knocks on my belly and throws his head back as he laughs out loud like a maniac.

This pigeon shit!

Human garbage pit.

Someone set fire to his skull,

So I can dance at his funeral.

“People are like bank accounts, if you don’t have a lot of money, they won’t generate a lot of interest in you.”

*This nagging bitch nipple!*

I roll my eyes and avoid his annoying presence beside me in the car. I would rather swim with crocodiles and kiss snakes than be with this crazy rabies dog and eat his grapes.

“Let a few weeks pass, you will start enjoying the lavish lifestyle I am offering you. And later, you won’t even feel like going back to your place.” He sneers arrogantly.

“I didn’t forget where I came from. And truth to be told, you need me more than I need you.” I spat vehemently which made his eyebrows twitch up in confusion.

“Is this some kind of a peasant joke that I am too rich to understand?” Ceasar comments in a daze.

“Coz you have a reputation to save hubby, unlike me.” I smirked while refreshing his sharpass memory.

Ceasar stays still for a while as if someone paused him. He continues to stare blankly as if his brain functions have been slowed down.

I look outside the window and control myself not to ask him what is going through his lull mind that made him mute.

*Probably my smart mouth!*

We both remain silent for the time and observe the orange hue in the sky as it creates a mirage on the brim of the ocean, looking like an oil painting canvas.

I am not dreaming, am I?

As the cold icy wind howls in my eye.

When the night comes falling from the sky,

I couldn’t help but admire the daylight die.

. . .

We get pulled into a private property’s driveway. There is a five feet fountain in front of the yard with multi-colored lights that reflect off the water mesmerizingly.

*Who has that kind of shit now?*

The car stops right in front of a two-story white Mediterranean-style mansion with tall, narrow windows with small windowpanes, low-pitched red tile roof, arches, grillwork that is illuminated with warm lights.

An old couple probably in their mid-fifties comes out to meet us. “Bentornato signore. È cosi bello verderti.” The man excitedly greets Ceasar as he snatches our luggage assertively from the driver. *(Welcome back sir. It’s so good to see you.)*

“Come va, Bernard? Ahh Margret, sembri molto più giovane di prima. E doppia bella” Ceasar softy smiles at the old woman and playfully hugs her while I awkwardly try to exist. *(How are you, Bernard? Ahh Margret, you look much younger than before. And double pretty)*

“Oh, e chi è questa bella donna con te?” The old woman looks at me surprisingly as she checks me out from head to toe. *(Oh, and who is this pretty woman with you?)*

“Joycelyn, come here.”

I look up at Ceasar who is beaming with a bright smile as he waits for me to join him. I walk up to to the asshole and shyly smile at the old couple saying, “Hello.”

“This is Bernard and his wife Marget, they are the caretakers of the Villa for the past twenty years or since I could remember.” Ceasar eagerly introduces me to the Italian couple. Looking at their close bond, I could have never guessed that they are just the housekeepers.

I smile at them and nod my head in courtesy. Suddenly I freeze, my eyes go wide as I feel a warm hand on my waist, clutching me dominatingly and pulling me towards a sturdy chest. “E questa è Joycelyn, mia moglie.”

I look up at Ceasar with narrowed eyes. *Did this bitch just called me Mogli?*

“Oh mio Dio, ti sei sposato? Quando? Perché non ci hai chiamato?” The old woman freaks out as she surprisingly looks at me with wide eyes. *Oh hell no, I ain’t Tarzan or Mogli.* *(Oh my god, you got married? When? Why didn’t you call us?)*

Ceasar’s hand stays on my waist as he tries to explain the couple in his sexy heavy Italian accent. “Ehm, Joycelyn stava cercando disperatamente di sposarmi, quindi abbiamo fatto una piccola cerimonia alcuni mesi fa. E per stare lontani dai media non abbiamo chiamato nessuno.”

*(Ehm, Joycelyn was getting desperate to marry me, so we had a small ceremony a few months ago. And to stay away from media we didn’t call anyone.)*

The couple looks at me and nods in agreement. Wrinkles form around her eyes as she smiles and tenderly touches my face, “Cesare la tua sposa è molto bella. Sono così felice per voi due.” *(Ceasar your bride is very beautiful. I am so happy for you two.)*

*What is happeing lord?*

Ceasar looks down at me, his smokey grey eyes stare deeply in me as he bites his lips and nods, “Sì. Lei è molto carina e fortunata per me.” *(Yea, she is very pretty and lucky for me.)*

I silently gasp, my breast press on to his chest as he leans down and places a warm kiss on my forehead making the old couple melt with our fake love. *This fake penguin!*

What is he acting for?

Does he want an Oscar?

Even Kardashians would shy,

Hearing his flawless lies.

“Stop it.” I whisper while pushing his claw away from me and create some distance as I tell him, “I don’t think we need to act like a couple in front of them.”

*It’s not like they are his relatives or from the press.*

“Eh?” The couple looks at us with a confused expression as Ceasar steps away from me with a hard face. "We are not really married. All acting." I tell them, hoping they would understand me.

Ceasar runs his fingers through his hair and awkwardly states, “Ahh, è arrabbiata con me per non averti detto che avremo un bambino molto presto.” *(Ahh, she is mad at me for not telling you that we are having a baby.)*

He then looks at me and smirks, “Lei è in cinta.” *(She is pregnant.)*

I flinch back as suddenly the old man and woman lose their mind, the woman hugs me almost yelling merrily, “Congratulazioni missus. Che Dio ti benedica con un bambino sano.” She kisses my cheeks and rubs my belly excitedly.

*This motherfucking pooptart!*

I glare at Ceasar as he happily laughs with the old couple. “Hmm .. ora capisco perché voleva disperatamente sposarti.” *( Hmm.. now I get it why she was desperate to get married.)*

The woman pulls his cheeks teasingly as she scolds, “Ragazzaccio! Vieni adesso.” And walks inside. *(Naughty boy. Come on in now.)*

I give a deadly scowl to Ceasar as he pulls me into a side hug and plants a sloppy kiss on my cheek forcefully despite my resistance. “*Muah*! Come on baby, the food will get cold.” He cooes dearly.

I push his tarantula arms off me as I frown madly, “What the hell are you doing? And what was that whole drama for?”

A playful smirk plays on his full lips as he says, “I was just saving my reputation, wifey.” And winks.
