Chapter 155: Chapter 155

Chapter 155

Faye listened with attentive ears, disbelief wide on her expression hearing him narrated to her.

From how her father had planned with her uncles to get Avon killed, their first act of poisoning his cup.

It was the ongoing drama she met when arriving from school and the city with her two nephews.

She recalled how stern grandfather was instructing them not to try such again, and scolding them by cutting some percent off out of their shares in the family business.

Then he narrated to their previous act, where they had planned for him to be killed against grandfather’s words and Avon’s warning.

They hired an hitman to shot him dead at the party. Oscar took his time confessing to all of his deed to Faye.

“And that is all, I regret every of my action Faye. I truly did, please don’t see me as a bad father. You have to forgive me because I have truly changed.” Oscar cried out to her daughter, not well seated with the expression on Faye’s face.

“You truly changed huh?” Faye scoffed asking the question, a painful smile breaking after on her face with her eyes starting to reddened.

“Yes I swear. I’m nothing like before-“

“Wasn’t it yesterday you and your brother enacted this mistake of trying to murder him the second time?” Faye broke into his statement cutting him short with her question.

Shame washed through Oscar face when he heard her, his face fell to the ground in guilt with no words in his mouth to defend himself.

“I can’t believe you’d try to do that to Lorraine. Tell me dad, what did she ever do to you huh? Why do you all hate her for no reason? You all hated her to the point her happiness is a threat to you all?!” Faye couldn’t help herself from lashing out.

“You know what. She deserve the whole world after what you all have made her world look like, I’m going to go confront uncle Royce right now and put him in his place, the same goes with Uncle Vance. Both are gonna get it hard from me, and I’m telling grandfather.”

Before they could attack her decision Faye bolted out of the room.

“No! Faye! Wait! Come back!” Oscar stood up bolting after her so he could finish his story, on his phone call with Vance his son had announce his death which was the least of the news he was expecting to hear.

He need to tell Faye so she’d know who she was going to fight.

However Faye heed none of his calls and continue running. Charlotte tugged on Oscar’s shirt stopping him from running after Faye further.

“Leave her alone, those two are gonna get what is coming from them. I’m still angry at you, and I guess you would have speak up even if I didn’t overhead everything. I’m still very much angry at you and I don’t know how much long it is going to take me to forgive you, but we need to talk about how we’re going to place this in front of Avon and his wife.” Charlotte said to him when she got his attention.

“There is one more thing I have kept in for too long and I probably should let out of my system today. I know this would change us forever but I don’t care, I’m just not going to cover it anymore.” Ending his statement, he grabbed Charlotte by her wrist pulling her closer as he captured her lips in his.

Almost immediately Charlotte pulled her, escaping his grip as she shot many distance from him. “What the fuck Oscar?!” She exclaimed, anger visible in her features.

Just then Kory ran up to the passage they were running past them to their room. This created an intrusion in the moment that had Charlotte and Oscar wondering what was going on downstairs.

Kory was not in shape and was worse than they saw her when they arrived, she had few red spots on her face but now her face was all swollen with her eyes sulked up.

She looked as though a girl who escaped wrestling a beast.

“This is not over Oscar, whatever got into you that fucking pushed you to kissing me is going to be addressed later. I need to go check on something,” Charlotte said, walking away from him and going straight to Kory’s room.

She got there to see her on the phone, just as soon as her presence was also caught Kory got off the phone hanging the call she was having.

“What are you doing here? To mock me of how miserable I am, well leave that to praising your daughter first. She did a good job, thanks to her I’m like this.” Kory said, her voice sounding like a restriction to a broken tone to how much she’s crying inside and refusing to show the emotions.

She stood up from the bed where she’s sat, going to her wardrobe as she began emptying all of her wears on the bed.

“I’m not here to mock you, I’m here to talk to you. I just want to ask, what exactly is going on between you and my daughter. I honestly expect the both of you to be closer than the enemies I’m seeing the both of you are to each other.” Charlotte responded coming into the room further, her words lapsing Kory’s action as she stopped shedding her wardrobe.

“Maybe if your daughter is not so stuck up about me stealing her husband then we would have been close like you envisioned. Lorraine hate me, she hate me so much she pushed me into the pool the very first day she saw me. She bullied me saying I look so much like her father…..”

“Wait are you saying my Lorraine did all that?” Charlotte had to interrupt because they sounded to foreign to her ears, she might not have trained Lorraine but she knows her daughter very well.

She’s so not the bullying type, neither the type to do all she’s saying to her that she did to her. Lorraine is really gentle and calm, if she’s the opposite there is no way her childhood would be traumatic with so much bully and hatred that she got growing up.

She never defended herself because she’s not the type that does.

“I’m telling you, why would I lie on her. What would be my purpose, I’m not lying. It seems like it but I am not, I am not a liar. Lorraine is a bad person, and she already told me to go kill myself and that is exactly what I’m going to do.” Kory zipped open the traveling bag she had obtained from a corner in the room, putting all the wears transported from the wardrobe on to her bed inside the bag, she stuffed it roughly without organizing it.

“Lorraine wouldn’t do that. Perhaps maybe there is something you did to warrant it, Lorraine is a sweet girl. Why would she be bad to you?” Charlotte was finding it hard to believe her. “And where are you going? Are you going out of the house like she requested?” She added asking.

“Your daughter told me she’s going to kill me if I don’t get out, and the sweet girl you think she is, is nothing but a mere facade. She’s a true witch in disguise of being a good girl. I have nowhere to go, nowhere at all so I’m packing my thing to go live in a nearby river. Incase the message wasn’t clear, I’m going to kill myself like she suggested.” Kory responded, zipping up the bag as she placed it on the ground ready to make her departing movement.

Charlotte stood still close to the entrance not moving out of her way. “You need to know there must be something you’ve done to your sister, she’s not who you think she is. She’s really nice and sweet and everything, if anything wicked or a witch are not the things she is. Lorraine is a the best at heart, she wouldn’t do all you said she did to you unless there is something you did to her-“

“What did I do to her, I did nothing to her so why is being like this to me. Oh wait, wait a damn minute.” Kory smiled as if something just sparked in her head.

“What is it? Did you remember what you did to her?” Charlotte asked with her brows knitted in suspension looking at her.

“Have got an idea, you’re not gonna like it though.” Kory hinted in a whimsical tone, a smirk appearing on her face.

“What idea?”

“Disguise. Facade. Elbrum Elbrum Telepasas Ek Frigimod.” She casted in a whisper, falling to the ground immediately after the end of her statement.

Charlotte also falling to the ground. Just a second later, Charlotte opened her eyes standing up she examined herself when an evil smirk broke out on her lips.

“This is so mad, the spell fucking worked which means it is good to use on Finn.” She beamed almost covering her mouth immediately realizing her voice is still sounds like Kory.

Kory had switched her body with Charlotte, as Kory is now living as Charlotte, Charlotte is on the floor still passed out living out as Kory.

“Now nothing is going to stop me from getting what I want.” She said to herself, a wicked chuckle following as her voice sounded exactly like Charlotte’s voice.
