Chapter 149: Chapter 149

Chapter 149

Fifteen minutes was gone and everything was still same, Lorraine was not only freaking out internally but was visibly worried about Avon.

He doesn’t look like he is winning his fight with the entity; she could only imagine how it was going, and in her head her husband doesn’t seem to be having the upper hand.

She watched him keenly, hoping for his victory. Her brows creased with confusion when she witnessed the head of her husband that was once steady to began nodding, the head nodded with force and strength it appears as though it would fall off his neck where he was seated on the air.

This triggered Lorraine’s actual fear, without minding the wind swallowing up the whole room. Lorraine grounded her feet, taking a leap she scantily matched her way over to him; holding on to things for support till she got to him.

Her arms reached up, grabbing a hold on Avon’s palms as she intertwined the both. She held on to him tightly hoping it is she was doing was helping.

In her view, she was motivating him by touching him. He might not be unable to hear her, but at least he should be able to feel her.

Lorraine then began whispering out words with her eyes closed bidding for a deeper connection with him, holding on tight to him. “You can do this, you’re stronger than you.” She kept whispering, as if giving a pep statement.

Not long his shinning white eyes died down and the wind tearing the room apart died down. Slowly he came lowering and he was back on his feet.

He opened his eyes to see Lorraine by his side and both of them palms held together.

“What are you doing?” He asked, lighting up a smile on his face looking at the palms together and Lorraine by his side.

“I was scared I was going to lose you. Telling me you’re about to fight death is not something I would rest on or sleep on, I mean death is not something mild or mere. I don’t want to lose you yet.” Lorraine could not hide her worries, she left his hand and attempted walking away when she got pulled back.

Her black slamming right into Avon with his arms wrapping around her.

“Nothing is ever going to take me away from you, not even death himself. The fight took longer than expected because I didn’t give it my full, I was fighting him as well as journeying over to the chamber of fate where I changed things written about Faye. When I was done, I simply called it off with death telling him not to bear Faye because her fate is rewritten. He promise to come for me, but there is nothing he can do to me. The good news, I can remove the tumor in your sister’s brain now.” Avon spoke lightly in a calm tone into her ear, he had leaned his head over her shoulder.

He sniffed in her neck, placing a gentle kiss on the surface that had Lorraine stifling in his embrace.

“You know it is weird that we are yet to consummate our marriage.” Avon pointed out, his words fanning heat upon Lorraine’s face as blushes surfaced turning her cheek pink.

“I don’t know what you mean by that and why is everywhere still frozen?” Lorraine quickly changed the topic, she wasn’t running from him or anything. She’s ready anytime he wants it, the last time she was ready to give him her virginity but the moment got interrupted by Finn to inform him about Kory’s fake abduction.

At the thought of Kory, her mind traveled to the fight they had before she vanished meeting herself in a cave with an old man behind her.

Was she really going to kill her? Telling her she have had enough of her as an obstruction and needs to be taken out.

Well her returning back home means one thing; her departure forever and ever out of their lives. She always knew she has motive, but never knew what it is truly; after their fight today, she glowed well in her true color and gave her the ultimate reason to chase her out of the house.

“What are you thinking about?” The sweet voice of her husband came asking intruding her thought, she doesn’t want to talk about Kory yet, and so she opted for changing the topic again.

“I asked a question, why is everyone still frozen and still?” Lorraine reiterated her question, tilting her head to the side so she can view his face.

“I wanna do things to you, I crave you so damn much I created privacy out of nowhere.” Avon replied, turning her to face him well.

He looked down to her face, a sexy smirk plastered on his face as he anticipate her response.

“I know you do, but this is not the right place to do things at all. Wait till we get home, I also want you. I want our marriage and relationship to be bonded on another stronger level.” She replied, looking away from his eyes to hide away her shy self.

“Be specific on the bonding part.” Avon said, softly gripping her jaw and gently turning her face to look at him again, his thin ran over her chin with his forefingers underneath.

“I….. I….”

“Say it Lorraine, you don’t have to be shy in front of me.” Avon understood her, thus giving her a nudge.

“I crave your lips on mine, I want her body dampened rubbing together with your dick sliding in and out of me as you carefully takeaway my virginity. I want your lips on mine as you pound in and out of me with passion, an expression of our love for each other-“

Avon cut through her sentence capturing her moving lips into a kiss. His tongue swept over, bidding for entrance as she opened up to him. His tongue went in, deep mixing with hers as they kissed with urgency drove with passion.

“I love you.” Avon confessed before he could stop himself pulling away from the kiss.

“I love you too.” Lorraine spat out sincerely, the affection vividly expressed in eyes gazing up at Avon.

Avon carved the brightest smile, pulling her to himself engaging in a passionate hug. He was happy, and he would be foolish not to express it.

She had really captured his heart, it started out as a will for protection, and now it ended with her housing her affection without paying for entry.

They both separated from each other, not sure to why they were beaming exclusively to happiness. Perhaps it was their confession to each other, or the fact that they’re something right to each other’s lives.

They both went back to Faye’s side on the bed, Avon stretched out his palm placing it above Faye’s head.

His eyes changed color going white that glows beautifully, he sprayed his palm letting go of sparkly dust that dipped into Faye through the skin of her forehead.

“Those would eat up the tumor in her brain and she would be free. Safe to say she’s now okay.” Avon told her the moment his palm restricted to his side.

“Thank you so much for saving my sister, you have no idea how grateful I am. I honestly can’t thank you less, I can’t believe she’s going to be okay.” Lorraine couldn’t contained her emotion, it spiraled and she found tears leaking out of her eyes.

“Hey I told you not to cry.”

“They’re tears of joy, tears of joy because my best friend is going to be alright. I won’t lose her thanks to you. I love you and thank you once again. You probably should unfreeze the time now.” Lorraine said to him.

“Yeah sure. Be convinced she’s alright so we can go home and call today a day.”

Finn stood above the man tied to the wooden chair, his arms behind his back and his legs together.

He was a bloodied mess, blood was all over his body and his eyes were red from too much fluid secretion.

“Please, please just let me die.” Sean’s weak voice came out pleading, his eyes almost closing. He was dying, he could not feel himself, but it is just a little time before he heals and everything comes back happening to him all over again.

“Fine,” there was something different in Finn’s voice, no sympathy or any emotions even.

He grabbed the knife from the table without thinking twice shove it deep into his heart, he brought it out slicing it over his neck.

He grinned psychotically as blood splattered over his face, streaming down the cut and wetting the thumping body all over.

Then the surrounding became cold, the invisible air forged together to create a shadow; a familiar shadow he has seen before.

“You seem like the perfect candidate to make a host. Together we shall bring Avon to his ashes, I see in your heart that you currently wish for his soul to meet an end.” The thousand voices given to Mors sentenced, before his figure dispersed into the shadow that went in sucking himself into Finn’s body without his consent.

A shriek of evil laugher following.
