The frown on her face got deeper. Tracy really had a point, how could such a school be behind a countryside school? What had Eve been trying to do?

However, she didn’t need to keep thing when she recalled the kind of room Eve had prepared for Tracy.

It wasn't that she was ignorant that her daughter was comig back but Eve had begged her. She claimed that she was afraid that Tracy would blame her for the life she had in the countryside, thus she wanted to prepare everything for Tracy so that when the latter came back, they would get closer as sister.

But who knew that her words were just schemes? Instead, she had wanted to show Tracy that even if she was her parents biological parents, she wasn't as favored as she was. Everything she wanted, she got while she, Tracy could only get her leftovers.

"No, that's impossible. Eve has always topped her class so it's unlikely that she doesn't listen to the teachers while they teach," Alaine said as she shook her head when she thought of Eve's performance.

"What if she bribed one of the teachers to be leaking the exam papers to her? After all, she has a lot of cash in her hand that she can give out," Tracy said stunning Alaine.

She stared at Tracy and frowned. She knew that the latter hated Eve but saying such things about her?

Seeing her mother's suspicious gaze on her, Tracy shrugged and lowered her head to continue eating. After all, what good could it do for her to lie to Alaine? Now, she knew that her mother suspected her but she didn't care.

She was just planting a seed of doubt in her. Whether she investigated or not, that wasn't her problem at all.

In her previous life, Eve never performed well in her examination. After all, who would leak the exams papers to her?

Since she had always shone brightly at school, the teachers and parents were expecting her to top in the city but alaas. They were shocked when she ranked below two hundred and fifty in the city and below fifty in her school.

Seeing that Tracy didn't even care about what she thought, Alaine sighed and shook her head, how could she even suspected her daughter?

"Just let her be. I will call her classteacher later on and know what's going on," she said.

Tracy lifted her head, stared at her for a while then nodded. At least she had listened to her.
