Chapter 15
The luxurious house was a grandiose display of wealth and opulence, with its high ceilings, crystal chandeliers, and marble floors that shimmered like polished diamonds. The walls were adorned with expensive artwork, and a majestic shelf above the fireplace showcased a array of trophies, each one a testament to Rita's success in the modeling world. There were gleaming silver cups, golden statues, and crystal plaques, all carefully arranged to reflect the brilliance of their owner.
Rita sat on the plush, cream-colored couch, her piercing green eyes fixed on the television screen in front of her. Teddy and Cassandra, his stunning wife, were being interviewed on a popular talk show, and Rita's gaze was filled with a venomous intensity. She muttered to herself, her voice barely audible, "Finally, he has decided to show her off to the public. It won't hurt if she separates them, because Teddy belongs to me alone."
As she spoke, her slender fingers drummed against the couch cushion, her nails clicking out a staccato rhythm. Her eyes never left the screen, where Teddy and Cassandra were laughing and smiling, their happiness a stark contrast to the seething anger that burned within Rita.
Suddenly, she reached for her phone and played a video, a sly smile spreading across her face. The screen displayed a grainy, intimate moment between her and Teddy, one that had never actually occurred. But the illusion was convincing enough to make Rita's heart race with excitement.
"Yes, this will do the trick," she whispered to herself, her eyes gleaming with malice.
Just then, the doorbell rang, and Rita's head snapped up, her gaze locking onto the entrance of the room. She knew who it was Sandra her friend who just went out to get something for them. She dropped her phone, turned off the television and went to answer the door.
" You came back too soon girl but all the same I will be in my room" she said as soon as she oped the door.
" He's back Rita..... The psychopath is back from jail..... I saw him now at the supermarket and I know that he was sticking me and am sure he will do same for you. Luis and Lucas aren't safe anymore" Sandra said at once, breathing hard. There was fear in her.
" You can't be serious....... You can't be...... Noooooo" she screamed holding her head painfully as some memories flooded back. " I need to get Teddy fast. I can't wait anymore"
" Teddy can't do anything for you. He will come for you Rita. He will surely come for you for rating him out!!! We are all in danger, if you get that innocent involved, he will get killed just he killed his parents and drank their blood right in front of us " Sandra's yelled at her, but she wasn't in her right senses anymore. Memories was when she was brutally raped and kidnapped clouded her. The thought of her Killing her parents. Blood dropped out of her nose as she fell to the ground. She allowed darkness cloud her, she passed out....
" Nooooo" Sandra's screamed hurtfully, rushing to her side.
Unbeknownst to them, a shadow has been watching them for a long time.

Cassandra walked briskly through the dimly lit parking garage, her heels clicking on the concrete floor. She had just left a meeting with her husband, Teddy, and was eager to get home. As she approached her car, she couldn't shake off the feeling that someone was watching her. She quickened her pace, her heart beating slightly faster.
She glanced over her shoulder, but there was no one there. The fluorescent lights above cast eerie shadows on the walls, making her feel like she was being stalked by an invisible presence. She hastened her steps, her eyes fixed on her car.
Finally, she reached the vehicle and quickly unlocked it. She slid into the driver's seat, locking the doors behind her. As she started the engine, she caught a glimpse of a figure emerging from the shadows.
He was tall, with a chiseled jawline and piercing eyes that seemed to bore into her soul. His voice was low and menacing, sending a shiver down her spine.
"Time for payback," he said dryly, his eyes fixed on her with an unnerving intensity.
Cassandra's heart raced as she put the car in gear and sped out of the parking garage, leaving the mysterious figure behind. But she knew she hadn't seen the last of him.
As she drove away, the figure watched her go, a sly smile spreading across his face. He pulled out his phone and dialed a number, his voice low and menacing.
"She's on her way," he said. "Get ready."
The voice on the other end responded, and the figure nodded, his eyes never leaving the taillights of Cassandra's car as it disappeared into the night.
"It's time to make her pay," he whispered to himself, his eyes gleaming with a sinister intent.

She packed the car inside the compound, and got down. She was till wondering how so many fans of hers knew her car and was able to stop her mid way. But something cut her eye, a man in black hoodie looking at her like a fool but his gaze was that of hatred but she felt that it's something deeper. Cassandra walked into the living room, expecting to find it empty. But instead, she was surprised to see her sister-in-law, Evelyn, sitting on the couch, watching a movie alone. Cassandra's eyes widened in shock as she took in the scene before her.
"Evelyn, what are you doing?" Cassandra asked, trying to sound casual.
Evelyn turned to her, a hint of a smile on her face. "Just enjoying a movie, Cass. Why, what's it to you?"
Cassandra hesitated, unsure of how to broach the subject. But something about Evelyn's nonchalant attitude put her on edge.
"Evelyn, I need to tell you something," Cassandra said, her voice low and serious. "I've been noticing some strange things lately. I think someone's been stalking me."
Evelyn's expression changed from relaxed to concerned in an instant. "What are you talking about, Cass? That sounds serious."
Cassandra took a deep breath and launched into the story of the mysterious figure she had seen, the feeling of being watched, and the ominous phone call.
Evelyn listened intently, her eyes never leaving Cassandra's face. When Cassandra finished speaking, Evelyn reached out and put a hand on her arm.
"Cass, I'm so sorry you're going through this. But I promise you, nothing can happen to you. You're family, and we protect our own."
Cassandra felt a wave of relief wash over her at Evelyn's words. She had been so scared and alone, but now she had her sister-in-law's support.
"What can we do?" Cassandra asked, feeling a sense of determination.
Evelyn's expression turned stern. "We'll assign more guards to protect you, starting immediately. And I'll make sure Teddy knows what's going on. He'll want to take care of this himself."
Cassandra nodded, feeling a sense of gratitude towards Evelyn. She had always thought of her sister-in-law as a bit of a rival because she wasn't all that happy when Cassandra got married and was sent out, she once called her but was Ignored making her feel very hurt, but now she saw her in a new light.
"Thanks, Evelyn," Cassandra said, her voice sincere. "I really appreciate it."
Evelyn smiled and squeezed her arm. "Anytime, Cass. We're in this together now."
