Chapter 7: RP Chapter 7

“But you did, babe.”

“I almost didn’t, if I had been just a few minutes longer, I would have lost you and Shawn wouldn’t have gotten to you.”

“Hey, you did it though, and now I’m here holding you,” he rubbed his thumb against her cheek. “How often do you have that dream?”

“Every time I fall asleep, I know it’s stupid to have five years after everything, but now I can’t help find Donovan, even though I found you, if Shawn wasn’t here I’m almost positive I could find him, Cunningham was who had me find you.”

“Look, I can have you look for him, I have a way around it, but it’s totally up to you, my intentions were to have you find him from the beginning.” He ran his fingers through her hair.

“How?”

“I didn’t give Herz the real disc, I swapped it for a fake, I can let you look at the real thing, use your mind to capture everything like you do and give it a couple days and then I’ll give him the real thing, saying I mixed them up on accident.”

“I hate having that stupid kind of memory, I think it’s why I can’t get over five years ago, the memory just always finds me when I sleep, of how you looked when you finally came home, everything I looked at while trying to find you, and coming up with the few dead ends that I did.”

“Hey, I’m okay, because of you and that’s all that matters, I don’t know what it’s like to have it plague you so much, but maybe I can give you new memories to focus on.”

“Like what?” she demanded.

He pressed his lips to hers gently. Her hands laced through his hair as she moaned low in her throat but moved closer to his body. His hands slid up her sweatshirt, at least this time he wasn’t buzzing from whiskey.

His deft fingers unclasped her bra quickly, then pulled back yanking her hoodie off and sweatpants. He could do better than last night. He went back to her already swollen lips and sipped at her intoxicating flavor that did more than the whiskey had the night before.

He moved from her tasteful lips to her neck, sucking and nibbling. She was coming alive beneath him as she slid her hands beneath his shirt, digging her nails into his back. He pulled back. “Babe?”

“I’m sure,” she whispered, and she reached up pulling his shirt off of him. He had waited too long for this to happen between them. He made his way down to her soft globes and caught one of the dusty rose tips between his teeth, tugging. “Kyle!” she arched up into his mouth.

Her hands dove to the button on his jeans, undoing them. He groaned but caught her hands pushing them up, pinning them above her head. He pulled from her hard peaks and pressed soft kisses down her stomach, making his way down between her thighs.

“Kyle?” Kacey gasped out right before his tongue dove between her folds and slid his index and middle finger into her already aching, wet center. She let out a scream as he licked her and thrust his fingers into her. The rocking rhythm of his fingers and the torment of his tongue against her sensitive spot advanced her further and further making her gasp urgently.

She writhed beneath him, but he pulled away just as the dizzying explosion would have taken her. He moved up between her thighs, burying himself to the hilt inside of her, making her clench her thighs around him as he rocked into her repeatedly.

This moment was so much better than the night before. She let out a strangled breath as she exploded into a thousand pieces, and she brought him with her as he screamed out her name biting her shoulder gently.

He let out short, sharp breaths as he nuzzled her neck with his nose. “That should have been our first time.” He gasped out.

“Yeah, nothing like being deflowered on a couch.” She mumbled.

He pulled back from her quickly. “What?”

“Uh, nothing.” She felt the heat rush over her face.

“Kacey May Matthews.” He scolded a little.

“Kyle Michael Davenport.” She shot back at him.

“You did not let me take that on an uncomfortable, lumpy couch, while I was sporting a whiskey buzz?” his cobalt blue eyes darkened in anger.

“I don’t care where it was as long as it was you that did it and you were.”

He let out a huff. “Kace, you deserved better than that, hell you probably shouldn’t have even let it be me.” He rolled away from her but pulled her into him.

“It was mine to lose, I decided when I wanted to, and I wouldn’t change it.”

He kissed her forehead and nuzzled his nose against hers. “Are you ready to go back to Alpha and take a look?”

“Sure, why not?” She untangled herself from him and the sheets then headed to the bathroom and jumped into the shower with Kyle shortly behind her.

They washed up, dried off, and Kyle pulled his fresh clothes from that morning back on. While Kacey went to her closet, she found a baggy gray Boston University t-shirt and some black leggings. She turned to get a bra and panties but clutched the towel around her tighter. “Um, Ky, do you mind stepping out so I can get dressed?” She felt heat rush across her as he cocked one of his light brown eyebrows up. “Please?” she whispered.

He slowly made his way up to her, making her step back quickly, her back hit the closet door. “Why are you being shy now?” he cupped her cheek gently.

“I, I don’t know.” She stuttered out, breaking her eyes from his mesmerizing cobalt ones.

He tilted her head up by her chin gently and his lips found hers. The minute his lips caressed hers, her clothes fell from her hand, and she snaked her arms around his neck.

She felt air wash over her body, causing goosebumps along her skin.

He pulled back a tiny bit. “See, beautiful.” He smirked.

She glanced down and she was standing there nude again. She slowly slid her arms from around his neck. If only he truly knew the power he had over her.

He stooped down, grabbed her clothes, and handed them to her. “Come on, Kace, get dressed so we can go.”

She jerked her head and hurriedly got in the clothes. She picked up her square frame glasses and purse, threw her hair into a tight ponytail then turned to Kyle. “Ready.” She mumbled. She had to focus on finding Donovan. Not what was going on between Kyle and her.
