Chapter 57: Crying Baby
"Prince? So that was the prince's cry?"
"So true!"
"Then the Queen will definitely do something to calm the baby down, right?"
Once again, Disha's question, which seemed simple, felt a little difficult for both of them to answer. Not because they didn't want to answer it, but because the question was quite sensitive considering the fact that the king had a child without ever being married before.
Disha looked at Keith and Nathan with an innocent look as if she really didn't know anything. But it was also impossible for them not to tell her, considering that Disha was their colleague. So, it is natural for them to share all information related to the king.
"The king is not married, because there is no queen in this palace!"
"What?"
"It's difficult to explain because this is a very sensitive issue. The King is not married, but he has a son. No one knows who the child's mother actually is. But one month ago, several palace guards saw the King returning to the palace alone while carrying a baby he claimed to be his own."
Disha was amazed to hear the story Keith told. One month ago she gave birth to her child in a cave near the Valley of Hell. After giving birth, she died from severe wounds and injuries caused by a mountain deer attack. A mysterious man wearing a mask who came from nowhere, suddenly helped her, who was having difficulty giving birth to her child, and after that, she couldn't remember anything other than the silk blanket that covered her body when she woke up from her long sleep.
"Silk cloth like this can definitely only be owned by the royal family and also nobles. Because silk cloth is very expensive and is not freely traded. Usually something this good is specially ordered."
She remembered what Mr Robert had said about the silk blanket she had found. Her feelings became very restless. She wondered if it was possible that the masked man who helped her at that time was the king carrying her baby? However, even though her suspicions were not necessarily proven, her heart still felt uneasy.
"What's wrong, Sapphire? Are you worried about something?" Keith asked, feeling worried because he saw her suddenly fall silent after hearing their story.
"N-no! It's nothing. Okay, then I'll sleep first. Good night?"
She returned to her room and lay down on the bed with dozens of questions popping into her head about the baby who kept crying as if he was calling for his mother.
She tried her best to close her eyes. But the more she tried, the more she couldn't sleep. She started thinking about what plans she could make to get out of this place and check on the baby without anyone knowing. She didn't want to look like a strange person who snuck out at night to find the little prince who was crying.
But a plan suddenly appeared in her head. She decided to wait until everyone was asleep so she could go out unnoticed on the pretext of going to the toilet. Then she was able to go towards the source of the sound which Keith said came from the Rosaria building.

Disha tried her best to hold back her sleepiness to prove her anxiety. After making sure Levi, Keith and Nathan were asleep. She walked towards the adjoining bathroom with a large window that made it easy for her to go out.
She was very careful not to hear the sound of her footsteps and once she was completely outside the hut, she immediately walked quickly towards the Rosaria building. One thing she didn't know was that the Rosaria building was a residence specially made for female servants who worked in the palace.
She could still hear the sound of the poor baby crying from one of the rooms. She tried to peek out the window and saw three women in the room in their nightgowns.
One of the women was seen breastfeeding a baby and two other women were busy comforting another baby who was sleeping in a basket covered with soft pillows.
"He's still crying, how is this?" One of the young blonde women looked panicked. She tried to comfort the baby who was being breastfed by a brown-haired woman. Meanwhile another woman looked after the baby who was sleeping in the big basket.
"It looks like the prince has a fever. Isn't my milk enough for him?"
"You've tried, Karina! You have to breastfeed two babies, of course it won't be enough!"
"But I can't bear to see him crying all the time, he's probably hungry!"
"Earlier I gave him warmed cow's milk. But it seems the Prince didn't really like it."
"Vivi, human babies definitely need their mother's milk, not cow's milk!"
"So what should I do, Jia? I've never given birth. I don't have any breast milk I can give. If I had, I would have given it all to my poor little prince."
Even though he was still crying, his crying sounded quieter as if he was tired of crying. For some reason, Disha felt sick, seeing the baby sobbing like that. Even though she tried to peek, she still couldn't see the baby's face clearly.
Disha sat down listlessly, she really didn't know what to do now. If the baby was not her lost child, she still felt very sorry for him and hoped to help him by giving him her breast milk.
An idea suddenly appeared in her head when she saw the women lay the sleeping baby on the small bed and a few moments later left him alone so he could sleep soundly without disturbance. While the three women took the other baby, they moved to the room right next to the previous room.
This was a good opportunity for her, she didn't expect that they would leave the baby to sleep alone in this room without anyone looking after him. Either because they were very tired and needed rest or because they didn't want to disturb him who was fast asleep after crying all night. But what is clear is that this is an opportunity that she cannot miss to determine whether the baby is her missing child or not.
