Rex took control from Aaron and morphed into a wolf before growling loudly, shaking the ground beneath. Warriors move aside, seeing him back to the normal state and ready to fight. Rex's eyes went on Patrick who was leading the warriors in his absence while becoming the shield between Alexander's warriors and Aaron to protect him. He smiled, realising how lucky he is to have a beta like him.

This time, He didn't waste time in killing two or three wolves. He enlarged his size and growled, making every warrior tremble in fear.

"I give you all a chance to run away because once I start killing, I won't stop until I kill your Alpha Alexander and believe me, I and my warriors will show no mercy on the people who are standing with this bastard" Rex warned everyone through mindlink. Alexander's half of the remaining warriors left the field after seeing the dangerous look of Rex and hearing his warning while the remaining warriors were loyal to their Alpha, ready to die.

"I'm impressed after seeing your loyalty but sorry you are supporting the wrong person and you have to pay for it" Rex smirked and started running, killing the warriors who were coming in his path. Most wolves look like pups in front of his giant size.

Patrick's mouth fell open when he saw a warrior die because he came under his Alpha giant foot. Even he is feeling like a pup after seeing his Alpha wolf's giant size. He gulped when he saw Rex kill a warrior by ripping his head and at the same time killing another warrior, ripping his heart out of his body.

Rex's entire black coat was covered in the blood of warriors. After a long blood war, he finally reached the end where Alexander's beta was standing. He looked around to see Alexander but he was nowhere to be found. He growled and jumped on Alexander's beta making him fall on the ground, giving him order to morph into a human which his wolf couldn't resist because of the aura Aaron was releasing.

Rex shifted into a half-human. Everyone's eyes widened when he saw his new power. His upper part was of a human while the lower part was of a wolf.

"Where is Alexander?" Rex asked, burning in immense anger, his vein started getting visible and the aura he was realising was enough to make anyone pee in his pants.

"Everyone move away from Alpha" Patrick mindlink the warrior, knowing how dangerous Aaron's aura is for a normal wolf. Rex was realising his aura unintentionally, unable to control his anger and hatred towards Alexander.

"You can't kill him" Alexander's beta, Stan laughed like a maniac despite standing on the edge of death. "He ran away... You and your mate will never get a chance to take revenge" Rex smacked on his face, making his mouth bleed.

"Letting out your frustration on me. Do it but let me tell you it was of no benefit. you won't be able to put your hand on Alexander'' Stan again started laughing, provoking Rex to kill him. "Do it.. keep smacking me. You might feel better." He muttered while laughing when Rex again hit him on his face. Rex was furious at himself for not keeping his eyes on Alexander and getting himself lost. If he would have kept an eye on him then Alexander wouldn't have got a chance to run away.

"By the way how is your mate?" Rex grabbed Stan's neck the moment he took his mate's name from his filthy mouth. "I still can't believe you and your human trust the pictures I sent of Aana and Vince instead of believing her" Rex's eyes widened at his words. He growled and tightened his grip around his neck, not to kill him but to suffocate him.

"You were the one who sent those pictures?" he growled.

"Yes… I was shocked when I found out you're Aana's mate. My Alpha wanted to have Aana by hook or crook that's why he went behind her and I knew if you came to know about us then you will not wait for a second to erase our existence that's why I created a misunderstanding between you two and my planned worked" Stan laughed sprinkling salt over Rex and Aaron's wound. They started regretting and felt ashamed of doubting their mate.

"You throw your pregnant wife out of your life without thinking. More than us, you hurt her. You only pretend to love her but in actuality, you always hurt her. You throw her out while accusing her of cheating without thinking for once. This is your love? If yes then you and your love is toxic for her" Stan said with a smirk. it would be a lie if Rex and Aaron said his words didn't affect them. Aana's crying face started revolving in their mind including the harsh words Aaron and Rex said to her to hurt her intentionally in anger.

"That girl ruined my plan" Rex came to his senses upon hearing him. He looked at Stan who was gritting his teeth.

"I thought everything got sorted but your mate injected that special kind of wolfsbane in Alpha Alexander's body and ran away. As a result, my Alpha became paralyzed for one month and after that, it took him time to recover. She ruined my plan. I wish I could kill that fucking" Before he could have cursed Aana, Rex ripped his heart out of his body and then his head. He was fuming in anger.

"Alpha.. Please calm down. He said all this to provoke you. so that you lost control over your anger and hurt us with your aura" Patrick said calmly, trying to compose his Alpha. Rex closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

"I'm going towards the lake and no one will come behind me." Rex mindlink everyone and then turned his head towards Patrick. "War is over. serve the funeral to every dead blood and send the injured wolves to the Pack's hospital and get them treated"

"Sure, Alpha '' Rex nodded his head and ran towards the lakeside to calm himself. Stan's words were roaming in his head making him feel worse about himself for not trusting Aana. Tears rolled from his eyes remembering how she was continuously trying to make him believe that she didn't cheat on him and love him but neither Aaron believed her nor him. After reaching near the lake he gave control to his human whose condition is not different from him.

"We hurt her a lot, Rex. We wanted to heal her but we sprinkled salt over her wounds" Aaron muttered, remembering the moment when he called her whore while showing her pictures in which she was close to her first love, Vince.

"We not only abused her, Rex, we even threw her out of the house in the middle of the night." Aaron covered his face with his hands, feeling miserable. "We give her new wounds while trying to heal her old ones" He cried.

"Where are you, Aaron?" He heard Aana's voice in his mind. He wiped his tears.

"What happened? Why are you asking?" He asked through mindlink.

"I'm missing you" A smile broke on his lips.

"How are you feeling now?"

"Alice healed me but please come soon. Your mate and pups need you. We all are missing you" Aana muttered looking at his pups who were sleeping after drinking milk. She was lying beside them, adoring them when suddenly she became anxious as she felt Aaron's emotions through a bond.

"You will find me in front of your eyes within an hour. I just have to take a bath before coming to you" She chuckled at his response, knowing he must be moving his left hand in his hair and his guess was right he was doing the same with an awkward smile.

"Come soon, Alpha before your luna falls asleep"

"I will be there" he closed the mindlink and looked at himself in the water only to find a big smile on his face.

"She is light to our dark world, knowing how to make me forget the world but her." He thought and jumped into the river to take a bath before going to Aana and washing the blood.

"We will be there soon, mate"

Aaron and Rex quickly took the bath and ran towards the pack to meet his mate and pups. He was excited to hold them in his arms and kissed her forehead, thanking her but the moment he reached near all his excitement turned into fear. He stopped at the door, staring at Aana's smiling face and Stan's words started revolving in his mind.

"You throw your pregnant wife out of your life without thinking. More than us, you hurt her. You only pretend to love her but in actuality, you always hurt her. You throw her out while accusing her of cheating without thinking for once. This is your love? If yes then you're toxic for her"

Aaron took his steps away from the door as the flashes started revolving in his mind where Aana was crying because of him.

"What happened?" Rex asked her human who was staring at Aana with teary eyes.

"No… I can't hurt her anymore. Stan was right, Rex. My love is toxic for her. We have to stay away from her for her happiness. We have to stay away." Rex's eyes widened with his human words and the way he was saying, Rex could feel how determined he was with his words.
