Chapter 101

Eleanor's POV

Lucas lowered his eyes in thought. The silence around us was deathly. I opened my mouth, wanting to say something, but couldn't get a single word out.

I wanted to comfort him, but comfort seemed so meaningless.

I pressed my hand on Lucas's shoulder, trying to give him some strength.

Lucas looked up with a strange smile, "Eleanor, do you know what you have most in common with my mother?"

I was confused, "What?"

"Kindness, and empathy for others."

Lucas looked at me gently. The hostility in his eyes had somehow faded. He pulled me into his arms, his broad palm rubbing against my waist.

It seemed like I hadn't been intimate with Lucas for a long time. His touch made my heart race. I shouldn't have any reaction at this moment, but my body was extremely sensitive.

I tried to control my inappropriate response, but it didn't work well. I was wet between my legs.

I wanted to push Lucas's hand away, but he held me tighter, as if this was the only way he could feel safe.

"Lucas..." I looked at him with difficulty, moaning softly. I didn't want Lucas to think I was a slutty woman.

But I just couldn't control my body. When facing Lucas, I was always so sensitive, so full of desire.

Lucas didn't notice anything wrong in my voice. He was immersed in his own grief and pain.

He buried his head in my chest, his arms wrapped tightly around my waist, "Eleanor, you know what? If Cruz hadn't left back then, but had treated my father's injuries right away, my father might not have died so quickly."

Lucas took a deep breath. I saw color return to his pale lips.

I knew he was forcibly suppressing his rising emotions.

I stroked his hair, trying to ease his pressure and make him feel better.

Lucas's hand moved up along my spine. I held back my physical reaction, keeping my voice low, afraid he'd notice something was wrong, "Let the past go. Don't torture yourself with it anymore. From now on, I'm here. No matter what happens, I won't abandon you."

"How can I let it go? It was murder."

Lucas cut off what I was about to say. He shook his head, tears streaming from the corners of his eyes, though he quickly hid the sadness in them. He let out a long breath and continued, "I thought at the time that he had no choice but to leave the accident scene. After all, my father was badly injured. It wasn't until I saw the surveillance footage that I realized he was sitting in the back seat, and my father was in the passenger seat. I don't know what made them switch positions. In that accident, he didn't have a scratch on him."

Lucas's hand on my waist gradually tightened. The sharp pain made me forget about my body's reaction.

I frowned but didn't dare interrupt Lucas.

He stared straight at me, his eyes like a bottomless pool. I couldn't read his emotions, only felt his body trembling slightly.

This memory terrified Lucas. He couldn't go on.

I had to stop him, "Lucas."

I lifted Lucas's chin and smiled at him. I didn't care what he thought of me.

Whether he thought I was frivolous or didn't know my place, I couldn't let him keep sinking into these memories.

I nestled into his arms, looking up at his unreadable eyes, "Lucas, look at me."

Lucas obediently did as I said. Right now, he was like a child desperately needing comfort—pitiful, helpless, heartbreaking.

"Stop thinking about it, okay?"

Lucas's gaze couldn't focus on my face. He was like a blind person who couldn't see the road. His lips drooped, his face as pale as a sheet of paper. He clenched his jaw, his cheeks bulging on both sides. I knew this was the only way he could bear the pain.

I rubbed his rigid jaw. Countless tiny needles pricked my chest. Even breathing hurt.

"Lucas, we haven't been together in so long. Don't you miss me?"

I boldly grabbed Lucas's hand and placed it on my chest. My face must be very red now. No, not just my face—all my exposed skin must be completely flushed, burning.

I pressed Lucas's hand and rubbed it. My breathing gradually became heavy.

Lucas still had that same look, that same expression. His desire was gone. No matter how hard I tried, he remained unmoved.

I steeled myself and leaned in to kiss his lips and cheeks.

I clumsily traced the outline of his lips with my tongue. Lucas's lips moved slightly, responding to me faintly. My heart leaped with joy, and I kissed his lips even more eagerly.

Lucas's skin gradually heated up, and his breathing quickened. His fingers scratched randomly on my body. I clearly felt the change in his lower body.

I sat on him, moving back and forth.

As long as Lucas stopped thinking about what happened before, he could treat me however he wanted. I could accept all his violence. I just needed Lucas to come out of his pain.

I tilted my head back, accepting his strength and desire.

He bit me frantically, his tongue circling on my skin, his teeth biting my skin and rubbing it back and forth.

I couldn't help but moan. Pain and pleasure came together. A fire raged wildly inside me.

I instinctively grabbed Lucas's hair, "Lucas, be gentle."

I could barely withstand Lucas's biting. I pressed my lips together tightly, my eyes unfocused.

My consciousness sank with Lucas. I squinted at him. His face gradually blurred before my eyes. His gaze was full of aggression, as if he wanted to swallow me whole.

My nails dug into Lucas's skin. I tilted my head back. Lucas's heavy breathing hit my neck, scorching and fierce.

Lucas's hand slowly moved upward. He gripped my throat, looking at me with hazy eyes, "Eleanor, do you know what I like most about you?"

I shook my head reflexively. My mind was confused, my consciousness unclear. I only knew Lucas's attack was very intense.

The pressure of his hand suddenly increased. The feeling of suffocation came instantly. His lips wandered near his fingertips.

I heard Lucas's magnetic voice in my ear, "I love seeing you unable to resist. Eleanor, do you want to see what you look like right now? You're sexier than ever."

As Lucas spoke, he increased the pressure. I opened my mouth, stuck out my tongue, and licked his fingertips pleadingly, "Lucas, let me go. I can't breathe."

Lucas acted as if he hadn't heard me. The pressure kept increasing.

For a moment, I felt like he really wanted to kill me.

I widened my eyes and struggled hard. Lucas's hand suddenly moved down, penetrating my body without warning.

I threw my head back and screamed. Intense pain and pleasure intertwined. My body hadn't been touched in so long, it was so dry it could barely accommodate a single finger.

"Lucas, please, can you be gentler?"
