Chapter 20

"What the hell are you doing in my office?" He asked immediately he got in and met her seated on one of his office chairs legs crossed and sipping a glass of wine she had probably taken from his cabin.

The nerve of this girl she always found ways of making one feel like choking someone but she was not going to tempt him into committing murder this morning.

"Chillax man, stop sounding like we didn't use to do more than just sip wine in your office," she said sounding so nonchalant and then woke up to give him cheek kisses.

He shifted out of the way when she brought her lips to his face for he didn't want to be contaminated by her saliva.

She smiled and then moved back to her seat while looking at him intently in his eyes surprised by this action he asked what she wanted in his office and she could not hide the fact that she wanted him to lay her typical self with no shame and she was being too obvious about it one of the main reasons why he didn't want to be in any involvement with her because he knew it was going to end in I'm such demands and as he had earlier said he didn't want to have to hit her because of the way she was throwing herself at him just looking at her was enough to have him puke she irritated him so much her perfume was so heavy as though she had worn like four different perfumes to which he couldn't contain.

"This should be the first and the last time you would come into my office without my knowledge" he sternly said then he walked close to his door and called his secretary Ulea, "Unless you want to keep your job never let this woman into my office if not you would regret the day you let her into my space without my knowledge, I hope I am understood?" he asked her firmly to which she accepted if it was left to him he would have his company security not let her in but she had access into the building for the next six months so he wouldn't be able to put a restraining order on her not to be key into the company.

She huffed and left after she saw how embarrassed she had made herself then she told Blaze she was going to come on the day of the photoshoot which was in a week she was going to come and the company glam team were going to make her up and other things for the wine.

The arrangements were already being made and to make matters worst she had already spoiled his day with her presence and had to use an air freshener to clear the air off her perfume which still lingered even after she had left his office what a way to begin one day extremely terrible.

How dare he talk to her like that she kept moving up and down with a glass of whiskey she had in hand immediately after she got to her house she couldn't believe he had treated her like the trash she didn't deserve such treatment he was beginning to abuse the love she wanted to show to him and she wasn't liking it one big she had to do something and she had to do it fast. She gulped down her glass of whiskey before she took another glass of the liquid-filled in then she is called informing her that she had succeeded in getting into the building through a binding contract to which she could hold to Blaze just to be by him and she knew she was one step close to getting him for herself.

She congratulated her and decided to call it a day after they discussed she continued her activities and tried to focus on them.

Meanwhile, the police were still trying to investigate the issue at hand with who. had left such a note in a little boy's room although their whole suspect list turned to her they didn't have enough a

circumstantial evidence to hold her to it so they decided to work on the low for the time being but still trail her so she wouldn't know what was going on and she wouldn't know the police were on her tail plus it was as though she was working with someone so they had to find out who this other person was so they would be able to gather enough evidence on her.

The bakery had sent out the batch of delivery as usual and Ashlyn and him sat down to catch up on what had happened over the weekend and how their activities were done.

Turns out they both had a small quarrel but their relationship was booming and it was great to see that her friend was happy in his relationship and he didn't have to be worried about the cheating scandal or not although it was normal for one partner to cheat in a relationship or both of them were sure to protect each other's feelings and not to make the other person feel bad for doing that and he always tried his best to make sure that hey we're in a long term and not a joke because he had hinted he kept talking about settling down and buying a new house where they could have kids.

Now how were they going to have kids? They were going to have to go through the adoption process of having children since none of them had wombs that could hold a baby, and they both wanted kids so much so they were ready for all the paperwork respective of whether it took the time or not. They had their lives planned out no jokes and they were holding on strong and that was on a period no one could stop them or slow them down.

And Ashlyn was extremely happy to get her best friend's achievement after beloved from Buea to Yaounde so they could open up their business.

It was like he was living the American Dream of having everything in his life go according to plan and everything was beautifully scripted more like it was a scripted lifestyle that was waiting for him but he deserve every good thing that came to him because he always looked out for those who were close to him he always made sure they were fine and he was available for those who needed him and at this point, all she could offer her support and love in what so every decision he had taken they had gotten to like him because he didn't hide what he felt he made sure to make all of them know he was in love with their best friend and would do whatever it took to make him happy. And that assurance alone was okay to make them happy that their friend was in good hands.

They had a regular he where they did babysit children from time to time for their neighbors when they had the chance to do so and also they had a way with children that made their parents trust them to take care of their kids and as they were together they planned to see the world when they got married and had to go on their honeymoon.
