~ HYDRA MANSION ~

~ RUE'S ROOM ~

"Where the hell could he be?" Rue paced around in her room wondering. She heard from the maids that Keir had gone out and it was already so late, she suspected he went to Octavia.

She had expected them to fight and not talk to themselves, not for Keir to decide to go to Octavia's house, with the way she reacted it was obvious something was going on between them, they both couldn't even deny it to her face after the way they had both reacted.

She wanted to see if they were truly sleeping with each other and her plan had proved so, she couldn't wait for Keir to come back so she could execute her other plans.

This was just the beginning of what she had in store, Keir was hers and no one else, she was sure Keir was just sleeping with Octavia he wasn't in love with her.

She lay down on her bed with an evil smile on her face.

NEXT DAY

~ HYDRA'S MANSION ~

~ RUE'S ROOM ~

Rue woke up from the bed at the sound of footsteps, she checked the time on the wall it was almost afternoon.

JEEZ.

It was almost time for her modeling shoot and she had not even met Keir today, what if he had come and left already?

She jerked up from the bed rushing to the door to check if Keir was back, She opened the door as she saw two maids heading downstairs.

"Is the young master back?" she yelled out to them as they stopped in their tracks turning to face her.

"Good morning madam," they both bowed their head to her. "Yes Ma," they added.

Rue closed the door immediately rushing into the bathroom to freshen up and get dressed into something nice, she had not gotten the opportunity to speak to him yesterday.

MINUTES LATER,

When she was done getting dressed and doing her make-up, she dashed out of her room into the living room hoping to see Keir, she had thought about going to his room but she was sure he wouldn't allow it, he seemed very upset when he left.

She looked around the living room, there was no sight of him or his mother, She decided to try her luck and go to his room instead when she heard laughter coming from the dining section.

Were they already eating breakfast? She walked into the dining as her eyes widened in shock at the sight of Octavia sitting with Keir and his mother eating, discussing, and laughing.

What the hell was going on here?

"Rue," she heard Mrs. Hydra call out to her from the dining hall as she turned and went to the dining hall, She was surprised to see Keir and Octavia sit alongside Mrs. Hydra. She had not expected Octavia to be here this morning after yesterday's incident, it seemed they were together last night because why were they laughing and talking to each other like nothing had happened?

It seemed she had truly underestimated the kind of person Octavia was, she had to think fast of her next plan before things would get out of hand.

"Morning," Rue smiled going to take her seat. "Octavia I wasn't expecting to see you here so early," she added wanting to hear what she would say.

"I was also surprised as well but I am pleased to see you all together as friends," Mrs. Hydra answered instead. "I remember when you all were so little and I had to force you all to come and eat instead of playing, especially you Rue," Mrs. Hydra continued as Rue smiled alongside Octavia and Keir.

"Have you told Rue about the upcoming award show?" Mrs. Hydra asked her son.

"There is no need for that," Keir answered.

"What award show is that?" Rue asked not staring at Keir, She could tell he was angry at her but she was going to get him to forgive her once they were done eating there.

"There is this award show they hold every year for entrepreneurs and people in the entertainment industry, it is happening in two days," Mrs. Hydra replied. "Unfortunately I don't enjoy going but I always encourage Keir to go at least to represent the family."

"I am not going to that award show so stop..."

"You see what I am saying," Mrs. Hydra interrupted not waiting to hear Keir give her reasons as to why he couldn't go to the award show, it wasn't even about the award show.

It was about the fact that he didn't enjoy going out to events and she was sure if he did quite often he was sure to meet a lady that might catch his interest and he would likely start a relationship with her. 

She was tired of having to introduce him to all her friend's daughters over and over again and not getting any positive feedback from him.

There were a lot of women who were ready to get married to him but he was the problem now, he wasn't interested and she wasn't getting any older, She hoped to at least see two of her grandchildren before she passed on. 

She didn't exactly say these words to him but she hoped he would at least read the signs.

"Don't you talk to him Octavia, I heard you always attend the award show every year," Mrs. Hydra continued trying to see if Octavia could persuade him.

"Well I am also not going this year," Octavia lied, she didn't want to be put in the middle of this conversation. It was quite obvious Keir didn't want to go but his mother seem to have an agenda up her sleeves, she wasn't aware that Keir was in her house all night fucking the hell out of her.

She had called her early this morning to invite her to breakfast, Keir had whispered to her secretly during the phone conversation to reject the offer but who was she to reject something like that? 

She had accepted and here she was realizing she should have listened to Keir and told her she was busy with work today.

"But that wasn't what your mother told me," Mrs. Hydra said. "I think it would be nice for you and Keir to go together."

"I am also interested in this award show, how is it like Octavia?" Rue said it was obvious Mrs. Hydra was up to no good. 

If she needed Keir to go to an award show and needed someone to convince him why had she not considered her first, why did she have to call Octavia instead, now she was trying to get the both of them to go to an event and live her all alone here.

She couldn't allow that to happen, it was best she figure out a way to follow them.

"Nothing special but I am certain the after-party is fun I always leave when it is time for the after-party," Octavia replied. She was mad at Rue for kissing Keir but she decided to let it slide, she had even talked to Keir not to be mad at Rue about it. 

She didn't want her jealousy to get in the way of Keir's friendship with Rue.

It was just a darn kiss, she trusted Keir's word that nothing was going on between them.

"The three of you going sounds even better," Mrs. Hydra said smiling.
